The developer of Trailmappers Playtest has released a new update for the game on April 6, 2024. Here are the new things that you should expect to see or change on this new update. This information was curated directly from the official announcement on Steam.
Custom Models
Enjoy the freedom of infinite possibilities with custom models! Models can simply be added, exported, then loaded. Everything updates automatically in real-time. Note Trailmakers itself has some limitations when it comes to custom models.
Regular Models
With the help of Jess, and BreadAndButter, all new models added to Trailmakers is now added to Trailmappers! Many exciting new possibilities with so many additions. Say thanks to them in the official Trailmakers discord!
Other Additions
- Orthographic (flat) viewing is now possible with the gadget in the top right in the map editor!
- Saving and exporting is now asynchronous, so it is a lot faster to save/load.
