The anniversary version of a guide for completing all achievements in the White Chamber. It is recommended that you play this quick game alone at first for the greatest experience. Give this a look just if you’re stuck, as you will almost certainly unlock the majority of the final achievements without any extra assistance.
Endings
There are 4 story endings and 4 death scene endings in the game. Each of them gets you an achievement.
Logic Behind Ending Calculation
You may have already noticed a blackboard with variable numbers of lines that finally take the form of an object that appears in the game as well. The greatest amount of “points” (for lack of a better description) you can have after the whole drawing is revealed is 6, and this is the game’s way of letting you know how many you have right now.
The ending you receive depends on how many points you have when you start the chat past the Vent. Six actions—including the initial start of the game—give you points, while one action subtracts points.
- Start the game – +1
- Select “Yes” for “Do you regret?” at the start – +1
- Try to free the person in the tube with the axe before using the console – +1
- Try to warm the person in the freezer with a blanket before they turn around – +1
- Cut the wire for the Analyzer – -1
- Cover the assembled dead body with a blanket – +1
- Select “No” when asked about “…spreading a disease” in the quarantine room (second question). – +1
Story endings
- 0 points – Tormented ending. “Worst of the worst” Achievement
- 1-2 points – Damned ending. “Irredeemable” Achievement
- 3-5 points – Redemption ending. “Redemption” Achievement
- 6 points – Comedy ending. “Silly” Achievement
Death endings
- Use the door that lead to the island several times – Space ending. “Watch your step” Achievement
- Don’t escape the electric torture scene (it takes a few minutes) – Electrocution ending. “Toasty!” Achievement
- Walk in and out of the room with the hanging fridge before solving its puzzle over 3 times – Venomous (Spelled Venemous in-game) ending. “Best Before” Achievement
- Respond negatively on the first question in the Quarantine room – Decaying ending. “Patient” Achievement
Knowledge Seeker
This may need to be double-checked since the achievements were initially glitchy for a few days.
However, it appears that completing the content in the Grey Tower will eventually unlock this achievement.
Buried Treasure
It takes some creative problem-solving to complete this award because it updates the way the grey tower was concealed in earlier iterations of the game. I’ll start out with a few hints and end with a straightforward answer.
Secret hidden inside ending screens
Each tale ending screen contains a hint for a game’s hidden feature or element, but what is less clear is that there is a little string of numbers or a combination of numbers and characters hidden at the top of the screen. Reading it from left to right, you get the following (ignoring the fact that death scenes only give you two strings, with two duplicates):
44415441 30303130 2E4F4747 2E5A4950 5245444F 50455241
Deciphering the secret
The possibility that this sequence could be expressed in hexadecimal may have previously occurred to you. What happens next when you translate that into text using a translation tool?
DATA 0010 .OGG .ZIP REDO PERA
You can find a file with the name “Data0010.ogg” in the Assets folder if you open the game files. What happens if you give it a.zip file extension? You can open it as an archive because it turns out that is its true extension. except that a password is needed. Enter “REDOPERA” for the final character of our hexadecimal translation without a space between the letters.
By doing this, you will receive a brand-new audio drama that was created just for the Anniversary Edition. However, as it is an.mp3 file you listen to outside of the game, it will obviously not unlock the achievement. However, perhaps it has tips that will aid you while playing?
In the emails that are otherwise optional and that you can view at the Communications panel, there have been some odd red letters. Could it be of assistance?
Unlocking the Achievement
Once the game has started, enter the grey tower. The letter “Pi” can be found in the lower right corner. To view the login screen, click it.
The login information can be deduced from the secret audio file – that would be “RED”.
The access code can be taken from the red letters in the emails – that would be “OPEN”.
When you do, the achievement will become available and you will have access to a new image.
I am unsure if any of the aforementioned steps—or first unlocking final achievements—are necessary for the Pi button to show up because of the problems with achievements in the first few days. But for the maximum impact, you might as well read the story as intended.
That's everything we are sharing today for this the white chamber guide. This guide was originally created and written by Kain Klarden. In case we fail to update this guide, you can find the latest update by following this link.
