The developer of Tales Of Polygonia has released a new update for the game on April 8, 2024. Here are the new things that you should expect to see or change on this new update. This information was curated directly from the official announcement on Steam.
Hello everyone,
We are very happy to announce that Tales of Polygonia is leaving Early Access. We have made some improvements that you will definitely like.
- full support for mouse and keyboard (can be changed inside settings menu)
- detailed list of key bindings and controls
- Co-op mode and Remote Play have been revised and improved (more on this below)
- 19 Steam achievements are now available (more on this below)
- New Game+ has been added and is available once the game has been completed
- receive a special item when you start a New Game+
- added a special reward for completing the game on HARD
- missing indicators for interactable structures have been added
- AI-navigation has been revised
- character weight has been increased
- many minor bug fixes
Co-op mode and remote play:
In order to use co-op mode, at least one controller must be connected in addition to the mouse and keyboard. If only one controller is available, the main player must play with a mouse and keyboard. To do so, select the controls in the settings.
If there are two controllers, the main player takes over the controller which is registered as the first controller in the system. The same applies to the second player with the second controller registered in the system.
If necessary, the controllers must be correctly assigned manually over the interface via Remote Play. A controller that is registered as a third, fourth, etc. controller will not be noticed by the game.
Steam Achievements:
Some achievements can be awarded backdated. To do this, select an existing save file and start the game. Unfortunately, this doesn’t affect collection achievements or anything similar. These will be automatically restarted.
