Палмир – Best Base and Crafting Pals Guide

Compared to the other Crafting Pal Tier List discussion that focuses on pals with impressive innate skills in Палмир, I’m taking a different approach. While pals with excellent starting skills, like EX Mining 3 for mining Coal, can be handy for a quick setup, I’ve noticed that these pals are often challenging to catch. They tend to be in hard-to-reach locations, have low spawn rates, and consume a lot of food.

Более того, many of these pals are found in areas with poor teleporter access, such as the Sanctuary 1-3 nature reserves. I’m specifically excluding any pals found in these nature reserves from my list, although I might mention options from the low-level Sanctuary 1 near spawn.

Despite the greatness of pals like Quivern, their challenging catchability and, иногда, problematic hitbox and pathing issues in tight or indoor bases make them less ideal. This list will exclusively feature smaller pals over large dragons, which are more suitable for indoor multi-story factory bases. If there were unlimited build area and excellent passives, a workforce of mostly Quivern might work, but practical constraints limit their inclusion.

You’ll likely start with Foxsparks, but once you make it to the volcano island, there are plenty of excellent options. All these pals are generally found in the same volcano biome, with some available elsewhere. Use whoever you get with beneficial work passives.

These pals make up my main labor force. When not tending to my berries or running the mill, they engage in handcrafts and transport tasks during their downtime. That’s why all the recommended pals have handcraft and transport skills. Dumud, в частности, is excellent for a streamlined mining base if you don’t require a focus on Handcraft.

For your wood-related tasks, you don’t require a dedicated lumbering pal. Вместо, you often go with pals like Lifmunk, Robinquill, or others who have additional skills while also being capable of chopping wood on the side.

When selecting Pals, aim for a balance between good work speed and useful combat skills. You don’t need a perfect worker, but it’s worthwhile to pursue Pals with relevant positive skills for the tasks you want them to perform.

The idea is to have pals that don’t eat a lot of food but have high work stats. The focus is on work stats rather than skill proficiency, as proficiency can be increased using the Condenser.

I don’t prefer the large end-game dragons with extremely high-level skills because they face problems with movement in tight spaces, especially in a multi-story compact indoor base.
