A list of everything that changes in New Game Plus
O guia
Unlike most games’ Novo jogo mais, this game does not let you keep money, level or equipment to your new run. No entanto, the following changes exist, compared to a fresh start:
- You start with one each of the tier 4 foods (enough to get you to level 30), if you completed the museum.
- You start with two million penne, if you got 450 Hunter Points on your previous playthrough.
- You keep all enemy models, character notes, and zPod CDs (but not the zPod itself).
- Pets keep their levels.
- There’s a second set of Illusory Labyrinths behind the normal ones. They’re 40 floors each, and unlocked at the same time as the primary Labyrinths.
G-Colosseum changes a fair bit:
- All story bosses are unlocked as soon as you enter. (Arena fights still have their usual restrictions.)
- You get the rewards for defeating the arena fights immediately, just talk to Lotte. May require beating them on your previous playthrough, I’m not sure.
- Talking to Lotte also reveals a Survival Challenge, where you fight every arena boss (Maurício, Pokkle, etc) em ordem, leveled up to around 40.
- You can use Level Plate G on the story bosses. This boosts them to level 35, and disables items except bombs.
- There’s a Hall of Models – Ilvard’s Finest, to the right of the save point. The Extra Models can be acquired from Mystery Capsules at the vending machine, and are retained if you do a second NG+.
The following items can only be acquired in New Game Plus:
- Papel: Muscle Gear – Colete tudo 58 Extra Models from Gallandeau’s vending machine.
- Unid: Bunny Ears, Bunny Paws, Bunny Tail – Complete three secondary Illusory Labyrinths. (You always get them in that order.)
- Roupas: Pinky Star Bustier – Complete the fourth and final secondary Illusory Labyrinth.
- Roupas: Rad Rocker Jacket – Use Level Plate G in G-Colosseum and defeat every story boss, at bronze medal or higher.
- Bicho de estimação: Pinguim – Complete the G-Colosseum Survival Challenge.
- Models: Mia and Lucian – Fight the final two bosses in the Colosseum.
Assorted advice:
- Platinum on Lucian – There is no secret weapon that does 10x more damage. The most important part is memorizing her attack patterns; além disso, it’s just luck, perseverance, and grinding. Maybe get the Clothings first.
- The reward for collecting all 480 Explorer Rank points is the Legendary Redhead title, 1 Wyrmpowder, a bit of dialog, e outro 8 million penne (10 million instead of 2) if you do another NG+.
- Há 21 models that aren’t in the Monster Notes: 9 additional story bosses (beat them in G-Colosseum), 9 G-Colosseum arena opponents (beat them), Rua (get platinum medal in Kappa’s snowboard game), and Ragna and Alwen (lose an arena battle as him or her).
- The reward for collecting all 158 models is nada, just some praise from Lotte and Gallandeau.
- Extra Models – you’ll waste a lot of money on duplicates. There’s no visual indication on whether you got anything new, but the sound effects differ. Load a save if you run out of money, and consider the Masquerade Mask.
