Being a witch in Cidade de Salem 2 can be puzzling for new players. I’m creating this guide to assist those players and make things clearer.

Without Necronomicon

• Even though Witch is the 5th book in the order, it’s important to understand what to do even if you don’t have it.

The UI

• The main source of confusion for new players using Witch is the two buttons they need to press. It’s crucial to explain these buttons clearly to avoid any confusion.

Controlling

• You get to choose who you control each night, but you can’t pick the same person two times in a row. The button on the left side represents the person you’re controlling for the night. You then make the person you picked move to the second button that needs pressing.

Alvo

• The button on the right is where the person you chose to control from the left button will end up. There are a few situations where your selected target might not go where you wanted them to. These include if they were roleblocked, pirated, if they would have hit someone in jail, if their role cannot visit at all, or if you tried to control them the night before. It’s also not a good idea to choose a fellow Coven member as your target on the first night.

Who to Prioritize

As a bookless Witch, your main goal is to control the flow of the game. Interessantemente, most of the Witch achievements align with what you should be striving for, incluindo:

• Achieving free double kills with Vigilantes.
• Forcing people into a Veteran, Cruzado, or Jinx.
• Utilizing Neutrals to enhance Coven Killing power.
• Knighting Coven members for increased voting power.

It’s essential to note that you can still accomplish these tasks with the book, but they might be less effective, especially those that could result in additional kills if you didn’t have the book.

With the Necronomicon

When you possess the book, the icons change, with the first one representing Controlling turning into the usual Necronomicon Icon. No entanto, the Targeting option becomes the Cleric Self-heal icon, which might be a bit confusing (BMG, please fix).

Your primary objectives should be to ensure the Coven wins the game and disrupt the town as much as possible. This involves actions such as controlling a troublesome Seer who revealed your Potion Master or preventing a Bodyguard from saving a crucial Mayor needed for majority. It’s important to remember that you have immunity to Roleblock and Taunt.
