This guide will show you some of the most important tips and tricks to successfully build your village in Sunny Village.
Sunny Village Mechanics
No jogo, there are different things you can use:
- Dinheiro (vermelho): You get this by selling things, and you spend it on building stuff, doing research, e mais. If you need more money, you can go to the bank and borrow some.
- Tickets (roxo): These are like favors in politics. You earn them by doing missions and selling things at the dock. Use tickets to buy materials you can’t make yourself, like glass, pipes, borracha, and wires. Tickets are a bit hard to get, so try not to use too many.
- Fame (amarelo): You earn fame by doing achievements, missões, and selling goods at the freight station. Unlike money and tickets, you don’t spend fame. It adds up, and the more fame you have, the more types of buildings and upgrades you can unlock.
- Electricity and Water: These are made by water towers and power plants. If your water or electricity use is around 80-90% capacidade, some buildings might stop working, like the cement factory and steel mill.
Missions in the game come in two types:
- Regular missions: These don’t have a time limit and serve as a tutorial, guiding you to build things in a logical order.
- Newspaper missions: These have a time limit, geralmente 1-3 meses. You have to produce a lot of a specific good and give it to the central government for free. Keep in mind that not all of these missions are realistically achievable.
When you upgrade buildings in the game:
- Nível 1 buildings make 1 good per time period.
- Nível 2 buildings reduce the time it takes to produce a good.
- Nível 3 buildings increase the number of goods produced to 2.
- Nível 4 buildings further reduce the production time.
- Nível 5 buildings increase the number of goods produced to 3.
And this pattern continues.
Keep in mind that upgrading buildings becomes expensive quickly, needing many building materials that you can only get with purple tickets. It’s a good idea to focus on upgrading the buildings that you automate.
When it comes to housing in the game:
- No início do jogo, the traditional style houses are inexpensive to build and don’t need materials from outside the game.
- No final do jogo, when you have enough fame to unlock them, construct the mid-rise long “barrel style” edifícios. The first build only needs one imported material, vidro, making it a more efficient use of purple ticket materials than upgrading traditional buildings.
- Highrises, por outro lado, use a massive amount of imported materials and aren’t worth the investment.
When dealing with feral hogs in the game:
- If a feral hog passes through an agricultural production tile, it interrupts production and makes it go idle.
- Armazéns, cement plants, steel mills, habitação, power plants, and water towers are not affected by feral hogs. To efficiently protect your farms, group them together in the same area.
- Some map tiles, especially those at the edges, are never affected by the hogs.
To win the game:
- There doesn’t seem to be a clear victory condition. No entanto, coming close to a sense of achievement involves unlocking all the buildings and getting your admin building to Level 6.
