Oke so this guide is going to tell you about most of the major bugs in this game, and at the end about the most powerful monster.
Erros
OK, first off, the bugs. Now this game right now is early access, and you all know what that means. It means there are a lot of bugs and exploits that can be used or are just downright annoying.
Erro #1:
I’m pretty sure literally everyone knows about this one. It’s the one where you can jump into the train rails and it will teleport you back to spawn or the nearest place available. This can be used in a number of ways, the most useful being if you are chased you can jump in and escape momentarily.
Erro #2:
This one I am not really sure if it happens a lot. I found this one in my very first game of project playtime, in which, believe it or not, I was lucky enough to get monster first try. I chose Boxy Boo, and the match went perfectly – until I Boxy Bounced into a pile of chairs on the floor in the theatre map. When I did that, all my abilities were soft-locked and all I could do was punch – no moving or anything. I ended up hanging around with a player who was sympathetic enough to understand how annoying that was until the match ended and I lost. Sad times.
Erro #3:
Last one so far. This is just a small one. I am pretty sure this doesn’t happen enough times to be major, but sometimes when you are the monster and you blast open a locker the locker yeets you out of the map and you have to respawn at the monster spawn place. It has happened to me twice and also happened to Thinknoodles the YouTuber.
There are many more bugs – don’t get me wrong – but those are the only ones that are REALLY annoying.
Boxy Boo
Primeiro, Boxy Boo.
Boxy has faster movement speed than Mommy and Huggy and can also jump higher. He has a chase theme that comes from his music box that gets louder and faster when he nears a player. This is quite creepy to players and is also his way of sensing if he is close to them. He can attack faster but his jabs deal slightly less damage than normal.
His first ability is the Boxy Bounce. (It’s not called that, I just like to call it that.) Quando usado, Boxy will retract inside his box and when the button is released he will be launched in the direction you are pointing. How far he goes depends on how long you hold the button down for. It caps out at about a 50-ish metre jump.
His second ability is the grab. When the button is pressed, Boxy will shoot out his hand in the direction you are facing. If he hits a player with it, he grabs them and pulls them in very quickly. Boxy’s spring can only stretch so far and will retract back to normal after a few seconds if he does not catch anyone.
Conclusão – Boxy is fast and best played very aggressively. He can also hide in his box and wait for a player to come by. This works best if he has the Cardboard Boxy skin equipped, which makes his box look like a cardboard box. Boxy is very hard to shake off but can be foiled if you run under his jump or if you high-five him with the grab-pack when he tries to grab you. He can also pursue players across swing-gaps, unlike Huggy.
Huggy Wuggy
Second up, Huggy.
Huggy is the slowest of the three monsters but cannot be outran by a player (at least not if they aren’t sprinting or rolling.) His hits deal tremendous damage – the most out of the three – and he can clear rooms very quickly.
His first ability is the Big Hug. When the button is hit, Huggy will dash forward in the direction you are facing and if he comes into contact with a player, he instakills them. This is useful for clearing rooms with more than one person in – smack one to death, then charge the other one.
His second ability is the Small Huggys. Quando ativado, a small transparent Huggy will appear in front of the real Huggy and will move about according to where he looks. When the real Huggy left – clicks (sucessos) the Huggy will disappear and instead a small version of Huggy will appear on the floor where he was looking. This small Huggy will look around and send an alert to the real Huggy if it spots anyone. There are five small Huggys that you can place.
Conclusão: Huggy is best used with clearing rooms and prowling around the map until a small Huggy gives him an alert. He isn’t great at long chases as he is pretty slow. He can be quite easily avoided if the player is in a wide open space.
Mommy Long Legs
Por último, mas não menos importante, Mommy Long Legs.
Mommy is… mediocre. She is in the middle in basically every stat – she’s faster than Huggy, but slower than Boxy. She’s weaker than Huggy, but stronger than Boxy. She’s also the biggest monster making her quite hard to miss (unless she’s on the ceiling.)
Her first ability is her grapple ability. Quando usado, Mommy will shoot out her stretchy hand and will grab onto any piece of scenery that she comes in contact with. She will then pull herself towards that piece of scenery. She will only let go when the button is released, allowing her to hang onto walls and ceilings. This ability will not effect the players in any way.
Her second ability is heat vision. Quando usado, Mommy’s sight goes dim and she will be able to see players through walls. The players will all glow.
Her third ability is Spider Webs. Quando usado, she will shoot a spider web from her head, causing any player hit by them to be slowed down majorly. She has multiple spider webs she can shoot before having to “recarregar”?
Conclusão: Mommy is best used not aggressively. The place where she shines is in the Factory map – she can hang to the ceiling and watch everybody, then grapple towards them when she spots them with her heat vision. Being the same speed as the player, she can keep up with the player and will be able to catch with spider webs as well as being able to get across the swing gaps that Huggy cannot.
Conclusão
Bem, here we are…
Game developers, please fix these bugs. (Maybe fix the rail teleport in a few years – still having fun with that).
At last, after studying every monster carefully, seeing what people say about them, looking at their abilities, I am proud to present to you the most powerful monster…
