These suggestions are specific to the current version of the game, and while some of them may remain effective after the next major patch, I cannot guarantee their continued success. It’s important to note that these tips reflect personal preferences based on my own in-game experience. If you have a different perspective or disagree with any of the advice provided, that is completely understandable, as gameplay experiences can vary.

Space Combat Tips

• When low on resources, prioritize salvaging. Instead of respawning, selling equipment, and exiting, focus on finding blinking red containers in wreckage. Collect their contents before leaving, as it can be more efficient.
• If you’re not opting for the Rustbucket ship, consider using a Breacher Scout. Scout-frame ships, including Rustbucket, are currently the most effective options. Among them, the Flak 38 gun provides superior ship-to-ship combat capabilities. The Cruiser Scout (Rockets) and Light Scout (25milímetros) are decent alternatives, while other options are less recommended. In ship battles, survival is often dependent on speedtanking and evasive maneuvers to avoid enemy fire.
• Winning Space Combat can be highly profitable, even if you only engage other Marauders until they reach the exit gate. By deterring opponents early on, you reduce competition for loot within raid locations, making it easier to secure valuable items.
• To gain an advantage in space battles, consider using your escape pod strategically to breach enemy ships. Escape pods are surprisingly sturdy and, with proper use of boost, can be difficult to intercept before reaching the target. Choose maps with orange skyboxes for this tactic, as the bright background minimizes the glow emitted by the pods. Remember that the glow can be visible even without direct line-of-sight, so hiding behind asteroids won’t necessarily conceal your approach.
• In the event of being breached, be aware of the four possible entry points on a Scout layout: two in the habitation wings and two in the back stairwell near the engine. If breachers enter through the former, they are likely to rush or confront you at the front stairs. If they enter through the latter, they will often avoid crossing the engine room and head upstairs behind the Salvage elevator. Immediately vacate the helm once breached, moving away from the cockpit area to minimize their knowledge of your location while gaining a better understanding of theirs.
• The Red Baron AI behaves like an old man on his porch with a shotgun. Instead of returning fire, simply maneuver out of its patrol path to make it stop targeting you. No entanto, if a player is controlling the Red Baron ship, be prepared to retaliate and continue attacking them after they ignite. Players piloting the Red Baron ship typically indicate a lack of skill, as the ship itself is subpar when not controlled by AI.

Looting Tips

• When looting, it’s important to assess the value of items based on their utility in space and their potential monetary worth. Some items may hold value for trading, raiding, Zero to Hero contracts, or market transactions. While expensive items are easily recognizable, others like Industrial Paper, Chemicals, Motor Oil, and LPO Flamethrowers are valuable due to their usefulness in contracts. Priority should be given to items such as Cables (excluding large ones), Reinforced Metal, Toolkits, Disinfectant, and Fabric, as they are highly sought-after for crafting purposes, even if they have lower monetary value.
• Consider the value per tile of weapons and armor when looting. Weapons like M1941 Johnsons, 1911 Governo (excluding Stamped versions), Mac-10s, and Blow Torches have high value-to-space ratios. Para armadura, prioritize Pilot Armor variants due to their efficient use of space and excellent resistance to explosive damage, which is crucial in space combat.
• Vender “Pesado” variant weapons immediately. These weapons offer inadequate protection and significantly restrict peripheral vision. • Medical supplies are vital for survival. Carrying an ample supply of meds increases your chances of staying alive, even if it means filling your inventory before entering a queue. Medical items are commonly found, and crafting Small First Aid kits using 1 synth scrap and 1 disinfectant is a cost-effective way to ensure healing capabilities. Feel free to drop medical items during raids to make space for better loot, but avoid going in with too few of them.
• China Lakes are considered the best guns in the game and can help you defeat fully geared teams, even if they possess superior skills. Prioritize picking them up over any other available options if you come across them, as they can be highly advantageous when combined with a few stacks of 40mm grenades.
• Consider prestiging once. The initial prestige rewards you with 3 Prestige points, which can be used to expand your stash by four extra rows. No entanto, subsequent prestiges offer diminishing returns, so it’s generally not as beneficial to prestige multiple times.
• If you’re using a semi-automatic weapon like the M1941, pairing it with a weapon like the Klobb can be effective. In most other situations, prioritize carrying scrap grenades or flash grenades. Smoke grenades, despite being unlocked later, have limited utility beyond creating ambiance and potentially hindering enemies’ visibility.
• Familiarize yourself with the loot distribution in each raid location. Spaceport is known for food and smaller crafting items, while the Asteroid Mine yields larger crafting materials. Prison is a good source of melee weapons, and Navy Outpost offers weapons for sale, as well as inexpensive BA rigs. Navy Outpost is also relatively easier for securing kills, as it tends to spawn more AI opponents equipped with low-damage weapons. The hallway behind the projector room is a strategic spot for completing the SAS Captains mission. Terraformer provides a change of scenery but lacks specific advantages. Merchant Ship is another location suitable for acquiring kills, as AI opponents respawn there. Damaged Capital Ship offers top-tier armor. Colony Cruiser is ideal for PvP encounters and acquiring money from SVT 54R ammo and M45K weapons carried by Marines, both of which have good value-to-space ratios. Medic bags and the medic room on the cruiser can also provide an easy source of medical supplies.
• When unable to complete a trade due to insufficient space, try reorganizing your containers. The game’s current mechanics do not automatically optimize market trades to fit the available space, so manually arranging them can resolve the lack of stash space error.
• If you find yourself completely out of space, consider purchasing a capital ship, preferably the Central Empire Dreadnought, as it doesn’t produce a loud horn sound when activated in the hangar. Capital ships provide enough space to store three STG-44s, one of the largest weapons in the game. Acquiring a capital ship can alleviate the need for meticulous item arrangement when you have excess funds but limited space.
