You may have noticed that using better baseball bats and powerful frag grenades can be good for clearing maps, but it can be a bit risky. My way will let you stand in one place, maybe even step away for a moment, and finish a map without problems. This works best in the later stages of the game when you’ve unlocked more weapons and abilities. You won’t need many things to make it work. Aqui está o que você precisa, and I’ll explain how to get them:
Primário (Essencial) Unid
- Amaterasu – This is an upgraded version of the Kusarigama. Para desbloqueá-lo, you’ll need to defeat 10,000 zumbis. Amaterasu is a vital part of this strategy because it has a built-in knock-back ability that keeps most zombies away. Shield zombies are the exception, but they shouldn’t be a big concern.
- Biodestructor – You can unlock this item by surviving for 7 minutes in the game. Biodestructor creates a safe zone around you, making it crucial for your safety. It’s especially effective when combined with Strength Drain, which inflicts weakness and poison-type damage. It’s a great choice for early-game zombie slaying.
- Creeping Death – This is an enhanced version of the Toxic Grenade, and you can unlock it by reaching raid level 20 as a Biotech. Adicionalmente, you’ll need to kill 1,700 zombies as a Biotech to get Strength Drain. Creeping Death is important because it focuses the damage field around your character, keeping you safe and taking out zombies efficiently.
The items mentioned above are the foundation of your strategy, and the rest of your choices can be influenced by personal preference. Even your merc’s weapon and armor are not critical for this strategy. No entanto, I personally prefer the following items because I believe they work well with what comes next in the next section.
Additional Considerations
- Gigantism – You can unlock this by eliminating 1,000 zombies as a Pyro. Gigantism increases the size of your safe zones, which effectively keeps zombies at a greater distance and dispatches them before they get close.
- Mag Pouch – This is unlocked by defeating 1,000 zombies as a Scavenger. It provides you with an additional 2 projéteis. While it might not seem like much, these extra projectiles mean more firepower to obliterate zombies.
- Chocante – You can unlock Shocker by using a Large Shock Grenade five times. When fully upgraded, it shocks zombies in a clock-like sequence at a rapid pace. Any method that immobilizes zombies and keeps them within the range of your devastating strategy is a valuable addition.
Once you have these core items in place, you can literally stand still and let the zombies be annihilated as they attempt to reach you. Before you go ahead with this, I have a few minor warnings, which may contain spoilers. If that’s the case, I apologize in advance.
Important Notes and Considerations
- Amaterasu’s Knock-Back: The knock-back effect of Amaterasu works best when you’re standing still. The damage component functions well when you’re on the move, but remember that zombies may breach the field if you’re in motion. While it might be tempting to gather experience or loot, ensure that you can handle it without compromising your safety.
- Boss/Elite Spawn: Just before the 25-minute mark, a boss or elite zombie will spawn with a charge or rush attack. You’ll notice a red rectangle indicating the area it’s going to run in. This shouldn’t be a concern because your damage field will eliminate it swiftly, and you’ll likely have full health at this point. I mention this so you won’t be caught off guard.
- Purple Shield Zombies: Como mencionado anteriormente, the only zombies that will pass through your Amaterasu’s knock-back field are the purple shield zombies. You should be able to see them enter the field and quickly meet their demise, so they shouldn’t pose a significant threat as long as you’re not moving.
- Zumbis Especiais: After the 25-minute mark, big lab coat-wearing zombies will spawn. They won’t be able to enter your field, so don’t worry about them. The same goes for the big pumpkin head-looking zombies that appear around the 28-minute mark.
This build is ideal for completing lengthy tasks, such as surviving for 29 minutos, without the need to run around. Boa sorte!
