Can’t seem to collect those last bits of audio evidence? Struggling to take that elusive ghost photo? Can’t find an archive note? Consider giving this guide a read then. In it, general and in-depth tips will be given on to how to complete these tasks so you can fully investigate all the ghosts of Polk Street. Lore for each ghost will be spoiled so read everything at your own desecration.
Introduction to Polk Street
Built in the Old Town section of New Eidolon, lies a quaint house along Polk Street. Atualmente, it’s home to the Laurent family, who been experiencing strange occurrences over the past six months from when they moved in. While most of the family is convinced the house is haunted due to strange sights and sounds, the father and husband, Max Laurent, is convinced there are logical explanations for these odd occurrences. He requests for you, Conrad Stevenson, to determine if these events are paranormal or not to help put his family’s minds at ease.
Planning Your Investigation
Considering Polk Street is the second location in the game, you should have a basic idea of how these investigations will go down. No entanto, as a quick reminder of how to start your first few investigations, read Max’s email carefully before you even drive out to the location. Each ghost in the game haunts specific areas of the house and you’ll want to make a mental map of where to find each ghost before doing individual investigations.
Areas of Interest
- Sala de estar – Wife heard crying in the living room.
- Laundry Room in the Basement – Wife heard someone talking to themselves.
- Corredor – Wife saw a person’s shadow creeping along in the hallway.
- Child’s Bedroom Adjacent to The Bathroom – Youngest child has seen a young boy in their room during the middle of the night.
- Cozinha – Youngest child has seen an elderly man.
- Garagem – Max claims to have seen items fly off the shelves and felt temperature drops.
During your first investigation, select notes relating to the events in these areas and patiently wait in these rooms for strange occurrences to happen. Start collecting as much photo and audio evidence as you possible can to help trigger archive notes to spawn in your next investigations. You’ll begin to notice other rooms that the ghost haunts on top of what’s mentioned in the email. Once you know where to find each ghost and what notes relate to each specific one, begin to individually investigate each one.
General Tips for Collecting All Evidence
Select the Right Notes Prior to an Investigation
If you’re struggling to collect a piece of audio evidence or snap a photo, chances are you don’t have all the right notes selected. Da minha experiência, the game progress locks you from fully collecting audio if not all the notes are selected. Having more notes also makes the ghost more active to the player during an investigation. These notes come from Max’s email and archive notes that you’ll find throughout your investigations.
Find All The Archive Notes
Three out of the four ghosts found in Polk Street have an archive note associated with them. If you fail to collect these archive notes, you will not be able to fully investigate the ghost it’s associated with. One or more archive note(é) randomly spawns within the house during a random investigation after completing your first investigation. They can be found on the floor within rooms or in closets as small sheets of paper or picture. If you’ve run around the house, but fail to spot an archive note, leave the investigation and start a new one. Odds are that no archive note has spawned within the house for that investigation. Pay close attention where you see and hear certain ghosts. Each archive note will be found in the room(é) the ghost it’s associated with haunts.
Understand How Ghost Behave
Take a moment to read about the different types of ghost you’ll becoming across on your investigation through the wiki page on your office computer. This will help you collect EMF, temperatures, EVPs, and photos at the right time. It will also prevent you from wasting your time asking EVP questions to a ghost that’s incapable of responding back to you.
Be Patient
Don’t be constantly running around the entire house looking for a piece of evidence. Try to focus on a single ghost per investigation and wait in the rooms they specifically haunt to trigger audio and/or manifestations. I’ve had to wait in a room for a few minutes to collect the final audio for most of the ghosts here. Sometimes it might also be more effective to wait in a room you’ve previously seen a ghost manifest to take its picture if you missed it the first time and are struggling to find it a second time.
Listen for Wind Chimes and Creepy Background Noises
The pamphlet on Conrad’s desk mentions that hearing these sounds implies a ghost is near. Da minha experiência, it also helps locate rooms that the ghosts are haunting. If you’re walking around and hear these noises, pause to see if a ghost makes a noise or manifests before you for a minute. Se não, search the rooms nearby for any activity. If the room is dead silent, leave and find the room where these odd sounds can be heard in the background. The silence is an indicator that the ghost is not within that room.

Ghost Name: Perpetual Presence
Ghost Type: Residual
Living Name: Harold Wagner
Known Family:
- Helen Wagner (Esposa)
- Ricardo Wagner (Filho)
- Chad Wagner (Filho)
- Eric Wagner (Grandson)
- Susan Wagner (Granddaughter)
Lived in Property: Harold is presumably the original owners of the house, and it’s fair to assume he spent most of his life there. It was built by the Wagners in 1953 and later sold to the Allen family in 1987 para $49,900.
Archive Note:
The Perpetual Presence’s archive note is the Wagner’s wedding photo from August 25, 1924. I’ve found it on the floor of the kitchen where the Perpetual Presence primarily resides, but I suspect it can be found on the floor in the basement as well. An obituary for Helen Wagner along with the wedding photo is unlocked on your computer archive once it’s found.

Theories: Harold Wagner appeared the have lived a fairly simple, but happy life. Helen’s obituary implies they married when they were both teenagers on August 25, 1924 and were married for over forty years. They built a house for their family, watched their sons eventually have families of their own, and lived as devoted Christians. Tristemente, Helen passed away on November 13, 1964 and a memorial was held in the house on November 18, 1964. Based on the Perpetual Presence’s audio evidence, Harold missed Helen so much that he eventually wished for his own death to reunite with her.
Now in the afterlife, Harold wanders the house where so much has happened in his life. He relives a moment in his old age where he walks around the house, occasionally saying random quotes by the living. Esperançosamente, one day, there will be a way to reunite Harold with his beloved wife.

- Charles Allen (husband)
- David Allen (stepmother)
Lived on Property: The Allens bought the Polk Street house in 1987 para $49,900 mas, Deborah presumably moved into the house after she married Charles Allen in 1994. She most likely lived in the house until it was sold to the Thompson family in 2006 para $103,000.
Archive Note:
The Grieving Shadow’s archive note is the wedding certificate of Charles and Deborah Allen from August 13, 1994. I found it in the closet of the master bedroom, but I suspect it can also be found in the living room, hallway closet, and basement. In addition to the note, a police report from April 23, 1995 and psychiatric evaluation of Deborah from August 10, 1995 is unlocked in the computer’s archive once it’s found.

Conquista: Grieving Shadow
- Coletar 8/9 audio evidence
- Coletar 1/1 Photo
Theories: Unlike most of the ghost found in the game, Deborah Allen’s ghost is one most people might not feel as sympathetic for. She became Charles Allen’s second wife and David Allen’s stepmother after she married Charles at the Fellowship of the Congregational Church on August 13, 1994. No entanto, instead of a loving mother, it’s heavily implied she became a violent abuser towards David. A police report from April 23, 1995 described how a neighbor reported “loud, angry screaming” from the house. Upon investigating, an officer found David crying with fresh scratches on his neck, which he denied was from Deborah, who appeared completely calm and denied blame as well. Roughly four months later, she was taken to New Eidolon Mental Health Center for a psychiatric evaluation where they determined she ultimately had violent thoughts and was a threat to both herself and others. An attempt for pharmaceutical treatment was attempted to calm her, but it’s unknown how effective it truly was.
Now in the afterlife, she wanders the house as a Shadow Person. She’s aware of the living’s presence since she cries if you get too close to her while manifested. She also plays with the lights and opens/closes the closet door in the hallway. No entanto, she doesn’t directly communicate with the player and says mixed messages during the investigating. Perhaps there will be a way to end limbo within the house one day.
Little Boy Blue *Spoilers*
Ghost Name: Little Boy Blue
Ghost Type: First Type of Intelligent

Known Family:
- Charles Allen (Pai)
- Lynn Allen (Mãe)

Lived in Property: It’s assumed that David moved into the house when his birth parents moved into the house in 1987. No entanto, he moved out at Polk Street at one point to live in a house on Washington Street, New Eidolon.
Archive Note:
Little Boy Blue’s archive note is David’s report card from Old Town Middle School. I found this archive note on the floor of the basement laundry room. An obituary for David is unlocked on the computer archive along with the report card once it is found.
Investigation Notes:
- changes create gateways
- strong emotions create gateways
- david’s reportcard by laundry

- Acompanhar 3 – “Quem é você?”
- Acompanhar 4 – “Wish she leave…”
- Acompanhar 5 – “She’s so mean…”
- Acompanhar 6 – “You’re head here before…”
EVP:
- Pergunta #1: Is there anyone her who would like to speak with me?
Responder (Acompanhar 7): “Estou aqui…” - Pergunta #2: Is there anything you would like to tell me?
Responder (Acompanhar 8): “She’s mean…” - Pergunta #3: Do you know why I’m here?
Responder (Acompanhar 9): “Make her leave…” - Pergunta #4: How many people are here other than me?
Responder (Acompanhar 10): “A few…” - Pergunta #5: Is this your home?
Responder (Acompanhar 11): “Isso é…” - Pergunta #6: Do you like the current family living here?
Responder (Acompanhar 12): “I live here…” - Pergunta #7: Por que você está aqui?
Responder (Acompanhar 13): “I’m happy…” - Pergunta #8: Can you tell me your name?
Responder (Acompanhar 14): “What’s yours?”
EVP Tip: Da minha experiência, you will have to ask the EVP questions multiple times before the ghost answers them. The ghost will only answer a few EVP questions per investigation so you’ll have to re-investigate them a few times to collect all the EVP responses listed above. Keep in mind that the ghost will only give an answer for question #8 once you collected responses for questions 1 -7.
Photo:
Snap a photo of Little Boy Blue once he manifests before you as a little boy with blue skin and glowing white eyes. Hearing his footsteps is a good indicator he has potentially manifested. If you’re having trouble taking his photo, I recommend waiting by the bathroom next to the youngest child’s room to snap a picture of him while he walks down the hallway. You can also wait at the bottom of the basement stairs for him to walk down it.

Theories: As mentioned in the Grieving Shadow’s theories, David Allen was abused as a child (specifically when he was 10 anos) by his stepmother, Deborah Allen. The police report from her archive notes imply that this abuse was both verbal and physical, but it was sadly never officially confirmed. No entanto, David’s obituary states that he had a love and talent for sculpting that’s supported by his straight A in the subject of art in his middle school report card. His art was most likely one of the few things keeping him sane, and he continued to use his talents in his adulthood. He eventually left his childhood home to live his own life, away from Deborah, but sadly met an early end at the age of 31 on August 11, 2015 while hanging out with friends.
Now in the afterlife, he returns to the core of his suffering in the form of a child. Highly curious of the player, he’s able to communicate with the living on top of playing with lights and doors. No entanto, now he’s no longer quiet about his feelings for Deborah. He repeatedly tells the player that she’s “significar” and even expects the player to get rid of her spirit when asked why he thinks Conrad is there. His ghostly appearance along with a twitching that can be witnessed while he stares at you, may creep many players out. No entanto, underneath is a scared boy that’s desperately seeking help.

Ghost in the Garage

Theories:
Not much can be said about the Ghost in the Garage since it doesn’t have a known history. Perhaps the negative energy from Deborah’s abuse towards David still radiates within the house and fuels this poltergeist. De qualquer jeito, something is manifesting this ghost to appear.
