A basic Overview
Bem-vindo, to Bigfoot You are likely reading this guide, hoping to get a general idea of what is the best, and worst possible ways to track down Bigfoot; and the safest most secure ways to subdue and capture him.
This guide will give a basic overview, of the recommended ways to best Bigfoot… it may take a few attempts to take him down, but these tactics will help you to overcome Bigfoot every time.
Choose your Character
Your choice of Player character, will heavily influence your approach against Bigfoot If playing online, select a character that fits your preferred playstyle.
Rick Descrição: “When Rick was six years old, he went on a camping trip that changed his life. Desde então, all he’s wanted to talk about is Bigfoot until eventually everyone who knew him claimed he was insane. But that didn’t faze Rick. He went on to be a professional hunter, mastering the art of stealth. He went on to become the founder and leader of the Bigfoot Research Association (BRA). He spends his days focusing on a single goal: finding out the truth. Did he really meet Bigfoot that day?”
Bônus: +10% Firearms Damage, +10% Dano corpo a corpo
Estratégia: Rick is going to be your primary source of damage; enquanto 10% may not seem like much, when it comes to fighting Bigfoot, extra damage will always be a useful bonus. Com isso, it means that Rick should be given your strongest firearms, so he is the one primarily unloading into Bigfoot. If you manage to find the M4 or Remington 870, consider giving them to him to output the most damage.
Jessica Descrição: “Jess is a primate expert, one of the youngest in her field. Ela’s eager to be the first to discover a new species, hoping to receive the Nobel Prize in cryptozoology. All she needs is some proof of Bigfoot’s existence, and the BRA is ready to help her.”
Bônus: +10% Running Speed, +15% Healing Efficency
Estratégia: With faster movement, and better healing; it goes without saying that Jessica is the team support. Players choosing her, should primarily try to stay away from Bigfoot, meaning the Remington 870 or AWM are the most recommended weapons for her since she may need to get in close to heal, but it’s usually best for her to keep range on Bigfoot. Além disso, her fast running speed makes her ideal for rapidly exploring the map during the day to find inventory for her team.
While everyone else searches for Bigfoot, Jessica should be sprinting from location to location, setting up Cameras and traps, and gathering resources, to provide them to each member of the team as needed. When it comes to the fight, she should keep her distance, only getting in close to heal if anyone is downed.
Tomás Descrição: “Tom is a policeman who always had courage and strength, but this power didn’t save his loved ones from death, because Bigfoot turned out to be stronger. After resignation, he decides to join the Bigfoot Research Association (BRA) team and prevent further deaths. Tom has always shown courage and strength as a policeman, but it wasn’t enough against the legendary Bigfoot. After losing his loved ones from the beast, Tom resigned from the force and turned to the BRA. He believes that with them, he can find Bigfoot and put an end to the killings.”
Bônus: +15% Vitalidade, +5% Explosive Damage
Estratégia: Besides Rick, Thomas is the best character for taking the fight straight to Bigfoot. He has more health then the other survivors, so allowing him to tank is generally a better strategy, but the best benefit he has; is the explosive damage boost.
Explosive weapons deal the highest damage in the game to Bigfoot, and they also stagger him; so giving Thomas access to the Dynamite, or any other explosives is decent… No entanto, explosives cannot be reused, so once Thomas runs out of explosives to use; his extra health is his only strength.
Guilherme Descrição: “Will is a college student whose life revolves around programming and computer games. His dream? Making the first great game about hunting Bigfoot. Will wants to get on the front lines and learn all he can to make the most realistic and influential Bigfoot game possible. Will joins the BRA, eager to learn and see Bigfoot up close.”
Bônus: +15% Blind/Stagger Duration, +20% Velocidade de recarga
Estratégia: If playing as a team, always make sure to give a Flare Gun to Will. Se jogar sozinho, it’s going to be one of your preferred weapons. Will’s ability to stagger Bigfoot for a bit longer is ideal when teamed with either Thomas or Rick; as it allows them to unload their weapons into Bigfoot while he cannot move. His faster reload speed, also makes him ideal with the Remington 700 or AWM for faster reload and damage from a distance.
Team Synergy If Playing alone, it’s important to note that you have nobody to share items with; but when playing online; you need to ration your resources with others. Em geral, certain characters should have priority with items and weapons over others.

Choose your Weapon – Corpo a corpo
Choosing the proper tool The weapons in Bigfoot range greatly in usefulness and power; so it’s important to note the best options for any situation, and pick the weapons as their value grows.
Desde o início, at the camp; you’ll have a Hunting Knife, and can find a Glock, Pistola sinalizadora, and Remington 700 in the Camper. There’s also traps all around to use against Bigfoot. Então; sem mais delongas:
MELEE WEAPONS Melee Weapons are generally not recommended, as getting close to Bigfoot runs the risk of him grabbing you for massive damage; only recommended to use if Bigfoot is staggered from either a flare, or explosion; as otherwise the tradeoff is NOT in your favor.
You can throw Melee weapons at Bigfoot to deal damage at range, but the downside with this, is you will lose the Melee Weapon if it hits Bigfoot, as it will get wedged in his body. Though you can recover them, if they land on the ground unless it’s the GTS Tracker.
Hunting Knife Descrição: A Basic hunter’s knife. This weapon is auto equipped on everyone at the start, and a couple can be found around the map. Not reliable or recommended in the slightest, allows you to skin Animals for meat.
Dano: 2 damage per swing. (Rick deals 3 dano)
Taco de beisebol Descrição: A Standard wooden bat, usually used for playing the sport of Baseball, but also reliable for bludgeoning unsuspecting souls or aggressive Monkey men.
Dano: 3 damage per swing, 3 damage if thrown. (Rick deals 4 dano)
Cleaver Descrição: A Meat Cleaver, usually used for chopping and slicing large servings of meat. Can be used as a larger knife if push comes to shove.
Dano: 2 damage per swing, 2 damage if thrown. (Rick deals 3 dano)
Pipe Wrench Descrição: Also known as a Monkey Wrench, designed to work with large pipes; the hefty weight of this object makes it a good choice for bludgeoning things.
Dano: 2 damage per swing, 2 damage if thrown. (Rick deals 3 dano)
Axe Big Desciption: A large woodcutters Axe; generally used for chopping wood; can be used as a hatchet against threats in a desperate moment.
Dano: 3 damage per swing, 3 damage if thrown. (Rick deals 4 dano)
Pé de cabra Descrição: The Thief’s best friend, and a masterkey for all locked doors; it also doubles as a great bludgeoning Weapon against dangerous threats.
Dano: 4 damage per swing, 4 damage if thrown (Rick deals 5 dano)
Signal Flare Descrição: An Emergency flare to alert people of your location. It can be used to startle or scare enemies away if needed.
Dano: 0 damage per swing.
Usar: Unlike the other Melee Weapons, the Signal Flare is unique. Quando você equipá -lo, use it to activate the flare, and then throw it at enemies. This will stagger/scare wildlife (Lobo, Urso, etc) away, Contudo; it doesn’t work on Bigfoot.
Choose your Weapon – Firearms
Firearms basics: EAT LEAD In Bigfoot, weapons will deal additional damage if you aim down scope, and reduced damage if hip fired. Então, it’s recommended to aim down sight before shooting.
Naturalmente, a Headshot is stronger then a bodyshot… pelo menos, against wildlife. On Bigfoot, damage calculations currently are not effected by this (with the exception of the Shotgun, which is based on pellets hit). Então, if you can see Bigfoot, it’s recommended you shoot for the body to ensure you hit him.
Glock 17 Descrição: Standard issue pistol with a basic use. Geral, ineffective, but a good sidearm against animals… not recommended against Bigfoot.
Ammo type: 9mm Ammo
Firing Type: Automático
Tamanho do clipe: 10
Max Reserve Ammo: 150
Dano: 2 dano por tiro (Rick deals 3 dano).
Estratégia: Because ammo is plentiful, and it’s a rapid fire, if you have a decent trigger finger; it can deal decent damage. It’s best used to set off explosives or to hunt animals however, using it against Bigfoot is not very effective.
Best used by: Rick, Tomás (as a detonator)
Remington 700 Descrição: A good reliable hunting rifle. Good against wildlife, bad against Sasquatches.
Ammo type: 7.62 Munição
Firing Type: Single Shot
Tamanho do clipe: 5
Max Reserve Ammo: 255
Dano: 5 dano por tiro (Rick deals 6 dano).
Estratégia: The starting weapon is best used against any animals you see around the park, such as Moose, Cervo, Guaxinins, Raposas, and Wolves (not so much Bears). Against Bigfoot, it’s better then nothing, but it really struggles to be effective. It will take days to take him down with this weapon.
Best used by: Qualquer um.
Remington 870 Descrição: A reliable shotgun designed as an alternative hunting weapon. Fantastic against larger wildlife and very useful against threats up close and personal.
Ammo type: 12 Gauge Shells
Firing Type: Single Shot
Tamanho do clipe: 5
Max Reserve Ammo: 50
Dano: Average damage is around 45 at close range (Body shot, all pellets hit). At longer range, damage drops massively. (Rick will deal additional damage).
Estratégia: The R870 can be found in some of the villages, and some of the small camps; and is going to be one of your best chances for taking down Bigfoot, thanks to it’s high damage if used up close… the damage is rather inconsistent, as it’s based on pellets; but if you get close and slug Bigfoot, the damage output is far worth the risk.
Best used by: Todos
AVM Descrição: A large scope Sniper designed for long range precision hunting. Use with caution to take down even the largest game, but watch you don’t pull the trigger on your fellow campers.
Ammo type: 7.62 Munição
Firing Type: Single Shot
Tamanho do clipe: 10
Max Reserve Ammo: 255
Dano: 9 dano por tiro (Rick deals 10 dano).
Estratégia: Though Rick deals the most damage, due to the low fire rate and reload speed, it’s best given to Jessica or William and used to get extra chip damage on Bigfoot. Also good against wildlife naturally.
Best used by: Jessica, Guilherme
M4 Descrição: The reliable rifle of the American Army, the M4 is the best weapon in the game for taking down Bigfoot and anything else; Contudo, it must be used wisely, as ammo for it is scarce.
Ammo Type: 5.56 Munição
Firing Type: Automático
Tamanho do clipe: 25
Max Reserve Ammo: 255
Dano: 5 dano por tiro (Rick deals 6 dano).
Estratégia: This is the weapon you want to take down Bigfoot. Aside from explosives, this will be your primary source of damage output; use it well, and he will fall in not time. Recommended you give it to Rick or Thomas.
Best used by: Todos (Rick)
Pistola sinalizadora Descrição: Generally designed to launch Signal Flares to attract helicopters or people to your location, the Flare Gun can be used as an emergency weapon, though it doesn’t do much damage since it wasn’t designed to be shot at people.
Ammo Type: Flare Shot
Firing Type: Single Shot
Tamanho do clipe: 1
Max Reserve Ammo: 11
Dano: 1 dano por tiro
Stun Duration: 4 Segundos
Estratégia: Como você pode dizer, the Flare Gun deals garbage for damage, então… why would you ever use it? The reason, is that the bright flash of the flare is powerful enough to blind Bigfoot for several seconds. A well placed shot in the face will render him immobile for around 4-5 segundos, plenty of time for you to unload your weapons into him along with your teammates. It’s recommended to give the Flare Gun to William, as he gets extra stun time, but it’s useful in the hands of every player.
Observação: That Bigfoot’s vulnerability to the Flares can be testy at times. He will not get stunned if he is roaring at the player, charging at them, or in the process of slamming them. Então, it’s best to use it when he is in pursuit, or finishing one of these animations, or your flare will be wasted.
Best used by: Todos (Guilherme)
Choose your Weapon – Explosives and Traps
A good impression Explosive weapons dish out a high amount of damage output, and have the added benefit of stunning Bigfoot, just like the flare gun… Contudo, they are limited by the number on the map; meaning you only get a couple of chances to use them. When used properly, they will help drop Bigfoot’s massive HP down rapidly.
Cameras Descrição: A large Camera on a stick, used to survey the environment when combined with the Tablet. Use them to cover a wide range throughout the park, to stop Bigfoot from surprising you. keep away from Water, or they will malfunction.
Estratégia: Você consegue 6 Cameras to place around the Park, it’s recommended to place them a decent distance away with a large vantage of the terrain. Cameras will blink Red on the map if they sense movement (Observação: This applies to Bigfoot, Animais, even players), but used properly, can be used as a safety net against Bigfoot or to hunt him down during the Day.
Drone Descrição: A flying Drone with 4 propellers. Can be remote controlled using the Tablet. Keep out of water, or it will malfunction; requires batteries to use.
Damage Output: 1 damage on shock.
Stun Duration: 4 Segundos.
Estratégia: The Drone can be remote controlled, though get it too far away from the Tablet holder, and it will lose it’s signal. The advantage of the drone, is being able to fly, it can easily look around to search for Bigfoot. The downside to the drone, is that if you crash it, or Bigfoot sees it, he can break it very easily. The Drone does have a spark ability which can be used to temporarily stun Bigfoot, but it’s not a very practical tool.
Bear Trap Descrição: Grande, Metal, and designed to trap Bears, they can be used against other wildlife as well; you can set these bad boys anywhere, and trap them with Meat to make them harder to resist.
Damage Output: 40 Dano (Bigfoot lured into), 50 Dano (Bigfoot trapped by it).
Stun Duration: 4 Segundos
Estratégia: During the Day, Bigfoot will wander around and try to find food. If you lay Bear traps around and arm them with Meat; you may hear Bigfoot scream, and see his health drop massively. This is because he wandered into your Bear Trap. This is the recommended use of these; as it will deal more damage then simply luring him onto them.
Bear Traps can be used directly, by placing them in a path and getting Bigfoot to run over them; Contudo, these will often deal less damage. Also note, that sometimes, after being trapped; Bigfoot will destroy the trap. Nesse caso, it cannot be reused. Bigfoot often destroys traps that he runs over… but usually runs away from traps he is tricked into.
Fogos de artifício Descrição: Toilet Crackers and Sky candy; reliable for their amazing visual spectacles; they might be useful to take down Bigfoot in some way.
Damage Output: 0 Dano
Stun Duration: 6 Segundos
Estratégia: The Fireworks bright colours and loud audio won’t deal any harm to Bigfoot, but they will stun him for several seconds, giving you the chance to unload your weapons and explosives into him. It’s highly recommended you use these in conjunction with other weapons.
Gas Canister Descrição: A Red Gasoline jerry can; usually used to supply vehicles with spare fuel.
Damage Output: 32 dano (Thomas will deal 34).
Stun Duration: 4 Segundos
Estratégia: Decent damage, and a stagger to boot. it’s a good alternative to the Bear Traps if Bigfoot is pursuing you. Best used as a way to stun him for damage, and get him off your tail momentarily, as he’ll often flee after the blast.
Bateria de carro Descrição: A large metal box used to run a motorised vehicle.
Damage Output: 38 dano (Thomas will deal 40)
Stun Duration: 10 Segundos
Estratégia: The Car battery doesn’t deal as much damage as other explosives, but upon detonation, will stun Bigfoot for the longest amount of time. Devido a esta; it’s the best option for the last stands to stagger the beast for the take down.
Propane Tank Descrição: Usually attached to BBQs; Propane Tanks are large metal canisters filled with flammable gas.
Damage Output: 45 dano (Thomas will deal 48)
Stun Duration: 6 Segundos
Estratégia: Second only to the dynamite for Big blasts; the Propane Tank is best used as a trap to punish Bigfoot for pursuing you. Alternativamente, you could lay it next to a body or trash can as a trap, and use a sniper to trigger it in the event Bigfoot comes strolling by.
Dynamite Descrição: The Prospector’s best friend; good old TNT is as reliable as can be; simply throw it, and it will stick to whatever it touches, you can activate the timer manually with left click before throwing, or lay it as a trap, and shoot it to detonate it.
Damage Output: 90 Dano (Point Blank, Timer used), 85 dano (Manual detonation). Damage reduced with distance from blast. (Thomas will deal 95 e 90 respectivamente).
Stun Duration: 6 Segundos
Estratégia: This is the most powerful weapon for raw damage; but it’s a single use weapon; so make sure you don’t miss. This weapon is best used as a follow up to a Bear Trap, or stagger from a flare, to ensure he doesn’t walk away from the blast.
Capturing Bigfoot – Day time
When the Sun is up, you should be moving During Bigfoot, the days will cycle relatively fast, and Bigfoot’s AI pattern will change based on the time of day. During the Day, Bigfoot is rather passive, and will not attack you unless you actively run straight up to him. Even if you shoot at him, he’ll usually flee instead of fighting you.
Because off this, Daytime is your cue to get to work, and rush to the villages and landscapes searching for inventory items to weaponize against Bigfoot; as you’ll need as many as you can get to take him down…
Se jogar sozinho, use the Day to quickly move around and begin searching for new gear. If you find Safes, try to find Combinations. Há 3 Safes found on most Maps, and the combinations for them are usually in another key location not far from it’s location.
Each Park will have the safes in different locations (usually villages) and all 3 parks have different layouts, so the more you play; the more you’ll get accustomed to them. Items are generally found in the same locations; though the stuff can be shuffled (you might find 1 medikit, or some ammo in cupboards for example).
It’s also wise to set up cameras and bear traps during the day; as these can be used to survey for, and get some extra damage on Bigfoot. Observação: That if Bigfoot stumbles into a meat filled Bear Trap during the day; they will deal 50 dano, and he’ll often flee without breaking them, meaning they can be reused again, as long as you can find them.
You can also hunt for animals to obtain more meat for traps if needed; it’s wise to do this, since Bigfoot during the day will ALSO hunt for animals, and if he catches and eats them, he can heal a massive amount of health back.
Beyond the first day; be wary of exploring however, as you’re not the only one who can set traps; you may soon find that Bigfoot has set traps in unfamiliar areas you’ve yet to visit. These traps can be escaped by pushing the prompt key as it flashes on screen. Success will free you dealing 1 dano, but failure will cause you to take around 25 dano, before being dropped out.
During the day, it’s also wise to keep a look out for evidence that Bigfoot is real, this can include slash marks on trees and rocks, massive footprints, and torn up bodies.
Your primary goal, is to get the M4, AWM and Remington 870, as well as sources of explosive/stun to deal with Bigfoot. Once you have these, Daytime becomes the ‘hunt for Bigfoot’ tempo; as he will not pursue you, you should be pursuing him instead, this will prevent him from healing, and also make it easier to dish out damage, as he will not fight back during the day.
Capturing Bigfoot – Night Time
Hunter becomes the Hunted When the sun sets, and the prompt for “Noite” comes up; be aware that things are about to get serious. Naturalmente, with it being dark; it’s going to be much harder for you to see around you, making it easier for you to miss the evidence, and supplies… but to top that off…
When Night strikes, Bigfoot will actively begin pursuing the Players. While his method of tracking the players is likely noise dependent; he WILL find you, no matter where you hide. So it’s best to bunker down in a location, that forces him to come to you… this way you can control the engagement; and aren’t at his mercy.
The best places for engagement, are locations with doors, or towers with only one passage up; this way you can force Bigfoot down that narrow passage. You can take shots at Bigfoot as he approaches or works on the door, or set an explosive on the other side of the door, and detonate it; to both deal damage, and stun him for extra chance of damage as well.
Bigfoot will mostly rely on melee combat, and is very fast, able to easily keep up with the player while sprinting; so running from him is NOT an option. He WILL catch you, especially if he charges. He can attack you with punches (10-15 dano), swing a sign or shovel (15-20 dano); throw a sign or shovel (20-25 dano); or grab you, and pummel you. (30-35 dano). The difficulty will see these numbers go up; so engaging directly is a heavy risk for you.
Unless of course, you have a method to stun Bigfoot; as sources of damage like this, will often see him run if he suffers high enough damage. Devido a esta; the best way to deal with Bigfoot during the night, is to hide someplace, lure him in; stagger him, and then output as much damage as possible. If he doesn’t retreat, parkour through a window/off a ledge, and put distance between you and him, before going for another stun.
As long as you have a few Medikits, then taking damage is not an emergency. No entanto, if you get knocked down, and have no health packs; Bigfoot will likely finish you off. If playing online with teams; this is a big reason why sticking together is important; Jessica can offer more healing, so it comes recommended for her to keep her teammates topped off.
