to get started on this, the X1Z1 grav is what you need. for upgrades you only need the
high acceleration wing and the capacitator plating. this way you can achieve the highest speed with the max amount of pickups.

the track that makes it possible to reach the speed needed for this achievement is:
NEVELMALE PASS its the first track in the amateur league.
starting the race get familiar with the route you need to take to achieve high speeds
get some distance on the ai and pass the arch of the first bridge there will be 4 boost pads starting right to left and repeating. thats the first place to gain your speed and its ideal to have 10 power of boost ready at that stage. in the corners after those 4 pads there is 2 rows of power you can gather so make sure to not lose speed in the corners by boosting through. when you reach a rock surface-road dive off to the right and boost all that you have in this straight line. make sure to also hit the boost pads on the left and gather more power for the last stretch. this should be enough to get the achievement so if you didnt get it, run another lap or restart the race and dont worry about landing at the end. just make sure your not hit by rockets or the edge of the roads.

If you don’t want to challenge yourself you can do this in single races
and just take last place to not get traps on you.

Hang Time

Make the bridge jump in Serpentine Valley

after the loop where you go right and in to a U turn. before coming to this point you would like to have 10 power for boost, don’t use your boost yet cause the first jump isn’t it. take the right option of the 2 roads ahead start spamming your boost and gather more as you take off lean to the left where the bridge will be closer to land on. you don’t want to be slowed down by the rocket trap so either make sure your far ahead or in last place.

i have done multiple attempts in different ways on this with no succes of getting it.

if there is anyone that has earned this some time ago or recently please let me know whatever information about what grav/vehicle you raced with what upgrades and on which track or league

play all the maps in the game

i have not been able to find out how this achievement is earned…

tried multiple different ways of which:

played all the leagues and got first place at the end of all the rankings. (even the dlc track)

played all the maps in quick races with ai on medium difficulty.

with having tried this my motivation to try even more has been lost to the grind

im not sure if there is something wrong with this achievement,

here are 2 achievements that aren’t really clear.

i earned steady eddy with out realizing it so im not 100% sure but when attempting this one its best done on a pure race mode and try to keep your speed above either 500 ou 600 while not hiting the sides, but if you do hit some edges use some boost to keep your speed high.

with speed freak its just single races you need to do 400 times to get it
