This guide will help you find where all the items you need to solve puzzles in Hard Mode in Confabulation are. It’s important to know that these item spawn points are different from Normal Mode.

Zapalniczka

First Floor:

• Salon: You can find the lighter on the TV stand in front of the TV on the left.

• Kuchnia (counter): Look for it in front of the canister labeled ‘Coffee’, and to the right of the cereal box.

• Kuchnia (candle shelf): It’s on the shelf that represents the ground/first floor.

• Game Room: You’ll spot it on the end table next to the easy chair, between the bottle and can and the teacup.

Second Floor:

• Główny pokój: The lighter is to the left of the book titled ‘Found Memories,’ in front of the plant.

• Master Bedroom: It’s on the lower shelf of the hutch, to the right of the little tubs and to the left of the towel.

Fancy Key

First Floor:

• Kitchen/Dining Room: It’s on the fireplace mantel in front of the clock on the right.

• Game Room: Look for it on the pool stick rack mounted on the left wall, towards the door.

• Łazienka: You’ll find it on the lower shelf of the storage unit, above the drawer and cabinets.

Second Floor:

• Główny pokój: The Fancy Key is on the bookcase, at the edge of the second shelf up from the bottom.

• Master Bedroom: You can spot it on the nightstand to the left of the journal.

Toys

If I’ve missed any spots where the items spawn, please feel free to leave a comment to let me know. It’s important to note that the color of these items changes with each new game. Również, each spawn point has a specific shape associated with it, which can be a helpful clue if you’re searching for the last one or two items.

To avoid any potential spoilers, you’ve used labels for the monsters as follows:

• Police monster
• Girl monster
• Goth monster
• Cheerleader monster

If there are an equal number of possible spawn locations for each type of monster, you might be missing two for the cheerleader monster and one for the police monster. This information can help you keep track of your progress without revealing too much about the game.

First Floor:

Salon:

• On top of the television (cheerleader monster).
• On the middle couch cushion (cheerleader monster).
• On the divider between fireplace and living room (police monster).

Kuchnia:

• On top of the Brute Force Memory Puzzle (girl monster).
• Inside the left half of the double door upper cabinet to the right of the sink, on the second shelf (police monster).
• On the shelves to the right of the fireplace (girl monster, can be hard to see).

Game Room:

• On the end table next to the chair (goth monster).
• On the console table at the far end of the room, between the plant and beer cans/bottles (cheerleader monster).

Łazienka:

• On the shelf above the bathtub (girl monster).
• In the left lower cabinet (girl monster).

Second Floor:

Główny pokój:

• On the banister at the top of the stairs (police monster).
• In the potted plant (goth monster, hard to spot).
• On the couch, nestled in the left back corner, where you can’t see unless you walk over towards the bookcase, or if the couch is altered (girl monster).
• At the very back of the table, behind the plant, against the wall (goth monster).

Master Bedroom:

• On the bed (police monster).
• On the shelves mounted on the right wall, to the right (can be hidden by the armoire initially, goth monster).
• In the cabinet under the nightstand (goth monster).

Picture Frames

If I’ve missed any spots, please don’t hesitate to leave a comment indicating which ones I’ve overlooked. It’s worth noting that each spot will consistently have a frame of the same size. W sumie, there should be three large frames, six small frames, and a single long frame. This information might assist you in identifying any missing spots.

Laundry Room:

• Leaning against the washing machine on the left (mały).
• On the third shelf from the bottom on the bookcase to the left of the washer and dryer (duży).
• On the second shelf from the bottom on the bookcase on the wall opposite the washer and dryer (long).
• Leaning on a stud under the stairs (duży).

First Floor:

Kitchen/Dining Room:

• Leaning under the table to the left of the refrigerator (mały).
• On the counter to the right of the fridge slightly behind a plant (mały).
• On the counter to the right of the sink (mały).
• Leaning against the back side of the cabinets in front of the candle shelves (duży).
• On the shelving to the right of the fireplace, top shelf (mały).
• On the shelving to the right of the fireplace, lower shelf (mały).

Closet:

• Leaning on the table to the left of the locked box (duży).
• On the top shelf of the shelving unit, laying flat (mały).

Salon:

• Laying flat on top of the TV (mały).
• Leaning on the wall at the foot of the stairs, to the right of the TV (mały).

Game Room:

• Leaning against the end table, facing away from the door (mały).
• Leaning against the base of the pool table, on the right far side, facing away from the door (mały).

Łazienka:

• Leaning on the wall next to the toilet (mały).
• Leaning on the left side of the storage unit, towards the sink (mały).

Second Floor:

Główny pokój:

• Leaning against the small corner next to the locked door to the attic (mały).
• Lying flat under the couch, sticking out at an angle on the far side near the lamp (duży).
• On the wall shelf above the lamp, on the right side, hanging slightly over the edge while laying flat (mały).
• Behind the bookcase on the left side (mały).
• Leaning against the left side of the bookcase (mały).
• On the table, in front of the plant (mały).

Master Bedroom:

• Sticking out from under the left side of the armoire (mały).

Girl’s Bedroom:

• Leaning on the table with the presents against the left wall (duży).
• Very hard to spot: Leaning against a wall to the left of the head of the bed, in shadow (mały).

Lower Attic Landing:

• On the left side of the table, against the wall (mały).
• On the right wall at the very foot of the stairs (duży).

Third Floor/Attic:

Upper Landing:

• Leaning on the top of a pile of crates (mały).
• Leaning against the railing in front of the broken bookcase (long).

Studio:

• Leaning against the table with the paints (long).
• Propped on the leftmost luggage stand (duży).

If the suitcase has been altered and is on the leftmost luggage stand instead of the rightmost, you cannot see the frame until you fix it.
