Need help with your Teleport Network? This guide will explain the teleport network and also teach you how to properly use it in Beyond Contact. We will also go over how to craft a Transporter, what is needed to set up your Teleport Network, and how to Teleport within the Network.
What is a Teleport Network?
A Teleport network is a Network of active Obelisks and Transporters that you can Teleport between. They allow you to traverse the map and more efficiently get to where you need to farm your materials, complete objectives, or attack monsters.
Obelisks
Obelisks are large structures found around the map. Their primary function is to provide the player with a respawn when they are activated. As their secondary function, they can be used as additional Teleportation locations within your Network.
Obelisks cannot be used to Teleport until they have been discovered and activated, though after activation they will remain active for Teleportation, even after using them for a revive.
A good tip is that there is always an Obelisk in the Oasis, which will give you free traversal to the Brachylons after discovery.
Transporters
Power Required: 3
Space Occupied: 5×5
Transporters are crafted structures that add a teleportation location to your Teleport Network. You can teleport between Obelisks and Transporters freely, as long as the Obelisk is active and the Transporter is powered.
To research Transporters, you will first need Basic Power Generation, and then Research Data Mining. That should unlock the ability to research Transporters.
Materials required to craft a Transporters:
- 2x Circuit Board
- 3x Refined Feron
- 1x Phase Core
How to use your Teleport Network
To use your Teleport Network you will first need to have 2 destinations active in your network. This can be 2 Obelisks, 2 Transporters, or one of each.
Walk up to an Obelisk or a Transporter and press the key bound to “Teleportować”. This will open up the map showing your Teleport Network. Then click on the location that you want to teleport to.
