I recently acquired Sonic Team Racing and found it to be a highly enjoyable gaming experience. Echter, I encountered some significant performance issues, including severe slowdowns and occasional stuttering. To exacerbate matters, the game would intermittently limit the frames per second (FPS) naar 30 of 60 during specific in-game actions or locations, as if it were intentionally restricted to run on a less powerful console. After some trial and error and a bit of research, I managed to identify a solution to mitigate these problems and unleash the game’s full potential. It’s worth noting that I haven’t used an AMD graphics card since they were known as ATI, so I cannot guarantee the effectiveness of this method in an AMD configuration.

NVIDIA Control Panel Setup
