Persona 3 Herladen – How to Install Mods on Steam Deck

While we already have a guide on how to install Persona 3 Reload mods, it was dedicated to Windows users. But what about Steam Deck users? We don’t want to leave you behind so we’re also making this exclusive how-to guide to get that mods working on your handheld console.

Protontricks Setup

You need something called Protontricks. If you already have it, you can move on to the next part.

To get it, go to Discover and search for Protontricks. Dan, just install it from there.

How to Automatically Install Mods

When you download a mod in Reloaded II, ensure to also download any additional files it may require.

To browse P3R mods on GameBanana within Reloaded II, click the top left button. Simply select a mod and click download to get it.

How to Manage Mods

Mods are loaded in Reloaded II from top to bottom. A mod placed higher than another will have priority and overwrite any overlapping content.

Ensure that Persona 3 Reload Essentials is always positioned at the very top of the mod list.

Some mods may have extra settings that you can adjust by clicking “Configure Mod“. Others might provide a text file for customization instead.
