A quick guide on the “Lucky Life” endemical lifeforms. Find and collect the Felicicrow & Fortune Owl during a mission to get increased quest rewards and zenny.
Lucky Life
Deze “useful boons” refer to greatly increased quest rewards by collecting the Felicicrow and doubled Zenny by grabbing the Fortune Owl.
These two are rare, random spawns for all areas and can appear in both regular quests and expeditions. They are not tied to the daytime. Upon getting close to their location, you’ll receive the on-screen message shown on the right. They’ll also be shown on your mini-map, unlike the other endemic life.
If you don’t get them fast enough, they’ll simply relocate and won’t vanish right away, so if you’re in the middle of a fight, you don’t need to risk anything.
Here’s an overview of all locations I’ve found so far. I’ll update this, if I should come across more – I guess there’ll be 4 spots per map:
