This guide will be showing you a quick character stats analysis in Lies of P.
Invoering
TL;DR:
Choose either Motivity or Technique and prioritize leveling it up as quickly as possible. Af en toe, invest some points into Vitality, Kracht, or Capacity as the situation requires. Please note that I haven’t had the opportunity to assess the impact of advancing weapon scaling at this time.
Methodologie:
I’ve created characters for each “class,” taken them up to the first boss, and utilized Cheat Engine to grant myself a million Ergo. This allowed me to closely examine the impact of allocating as many points as possible into each stat. I manually recorded all the changing values in a spreadsheet, which you can access HERE.
It appears that you can only invest a maximum of 10 levels into any stat, regardless of the class. This means that your starting stats not only represent the minimum but also define their maximum (as starting+10). It’s possible that later in the game, this hard cap may be raised, but for this initial analysis, it doesn’t significantly affect the results.
When it comes to Physical, Vuur, Electric, and Acid DEF, these attributes are primarily linked to the character’s level. Daarom, allocating a level into ANY stat will result in some improvements, although it seems that Vigor provides approximately half the benefit compared to other stats.
Vitaliteit
HP gains start decreasing after reaching 10, with a more significant drop after 12. Beyond 15, it’s mainly diminishing returns. Recommendation: Everyone should reach Vitality 10, but it’s probably not worth going further than 15.
Kracht
Stamina gains decrease as you invest more levels, so even starting at 6, the benefit diminishes. Echter, Stamina is valuable, so it might be worthwhile to put a full 10 levels in. Classes that start with low Vigor will benefit more from these 10 niveaus. Bijvoorbeeld, “Path of Strength” would gain 50 extra Stamina, terwijl “Path of Balance” would gain 43, en “Path of Dexterity” would only gain 32. Recommendation: If you don’t want to invest all 10 niveaus, consider stopping at 8, 11, 15, of 21.
Capacity
Legion and Weight gains show almost linear progression. There’s a minor dip in Legion gains at 20 and slight improvements in Weight gains at 10, 14, en 19. Recommendation: Invest in Capacity only as much as needed to avoid being Heavy, which depends on your equipment.
Motivity & Techniek
Both stats progress similarly; your choice should align with the weapons you favor. Bijvoorbeeld, if you use a C/C weapon, both stats contribute equally. If you use a B/D weapon, invest in the one with B scaling. Physical ATK gains may appear odd at the start but increase in value with more levels invested. Choose either Motivity or Technique and allocate all 10 levels based on your primary weapon. Classes that can reach the highest values with the stat governing their main weapon will yield the best results. Motivity for Path of Strength, Technique for Path of Dexterity, or both for Path of Balance. Avoid spending too many levels before reaching 12 in either stat, as this may result in wasted levels.
Advance
Legion gains are mostly linear with minor rounding errors. Niveaus 8, 10, 12, 15, en 17 provide slightly better benefits. Resistance gains start diminishing after level 8. Weapon ATK scaling with this stat hasn’t been tested yet.
Starting Class Stats
In the Path of Balance, the stats are as follows:
- 9 Vitaliteit
- 7 Kracht
- 8 Capacity
- 9 Motivity
- 9 Techniek
- 7 Advance
This path seems well-optimized if you plan to invest in both Motivity and Technique. It may require some grinding to truly shine but is likely to be very powerful in the end game.
In the Path of Dexterity, the stats are as follows:
- 8 Vitaliteit
- 12 Kracht
- 7 Capacity
- 5 Motivity
- 11 Techniek
- 6 Advance
This path is not as well optimized, but it offers speed, which can be very effective. It might be a good choice for players who want a faster-paced style or are just starting out.
In the Path of Strength, the stats are as follows:
- 11 Vitaliteit
- 5 Kracht
- 11 Capacity
- 11 Motivity
- 5 Techniek
- 6 Advance
Path of Strength appears to be very well optimized for slow but heavy-hitting gameplay. If you prefer a playstyle where you hit hard but move slower, this path would be a solid choice.
Tot slot, the choice of which path to follow depends on your preferred playstyle and how much time you’re willing to invest in grinding. Path of Balance is likely the most powerful in the end game but requires more effort to reach its full potential. Path of Dexterity offers speed, while Path of Strength is optimized for heavy hitters. Beginners or casual players might find Path of Dexterity easier to start with.
