This guide will show you some of the most common questions about the Kingdom Draw‘s core game mechanics.
How to Get More Cards?
When the game launched, it had more than 185 different cards available. You can expand your card collection in two ways.
Ten eerste, you can acquire cards by opening card packs. These packs are obtainable using in-game currency known as gems. Gems can be earned by winning ladder matches, completing campaign missions, finishing quests, and by scrapping unwanted cards. Aanvullend, you have the option to purchase card packs directly with your Steam wallet.
alternatief, you can utilize victory tokens. Alongside gems, you receive 1 victory token for each ladder match you win. These tokens can be exchanged to obtain specific cards of your preference. The cost of cards varies based on their tier, with higher-tier cards requiring more tokens. This feature incentivizes players who engage in ladder matches.
Card Types Overview
In most decks, Army en Beest cards form the core. These cards are placed on the map, allowing them to move and attack both enemy cards and your opponent’s castle. Army cards stationed on village tiles also yield an additional gold per turn.
Steun kaarten, often archers or spell casters, are deployed directly onto Army cards already present on the map. During combat, Support cards inflict damage before Army and Beast cards. It’s important to note that foes with the Protected trait remain unharmed by Support cards.
Ten slotte, Stroom cards encompass potent spells capable of various effects such as dealing damage, eliminating units, enhancing or weakening units, summoning units, providing resources, or altering the game’s state. Unlike other card types, Power cards necessitate the expenditure of the power resource.
Card Tiers Overview
The game features four tiers of cards: Core, Gewoon, Episch, and Mythic.
At the beginning, every player has access to 40 Core cards and receives 6 Common cards per faction.
When purchasing a card pack, it includes 6 Kaarten in totaal: 5 from the faction you are buying for, en 1 neutral card. Each of these 6 cards has a 1% chance of being Mythic, A 5% chance of being Epic, and otherwise, it is Common.
Card Deck Limitations
There’s no restriction on the quantity of each distinct card you can include in a deck, as long as you possess the required number of cards.
How to Get More Power and Gold
To play Army, Beest, and Support cards, you require the gold resource. Your castle yields 1 gold per turn automatically. Placing Army cards on village tiles can increase your gold income. Each turn, you gain an extra gold for every village protected by one of your Armies. Aanvullend, certain Power cards and traits have the capacity to generate supplementary gold.
Power cards demand the power resource for deployment. Typisch, you acquire power by utilizing specific power-generating Power cards. Bovendien, certain traits associated with Army and Support cards can also generate power. Each faction boasts 3 unique cards that generate power, and there are neutral cards available for the same purpose.
Combat Damage Overview
When an Army or Beast moves into a tile occupied by an opponent’s Army or Beast, combat ensues. Typisch, these cards inflict damage on each other simultaneously, but various factors can alter the sequence of combat.
If any of the engaged Armies have Support cards attached, the Support cards deliver damage first.
Vervolgens, if any of the engaged Army or Beast cards possess the Lurking trait and the tile is situated on a river, the Lurking cards deal damage next.
Hierna, if any of the engaged Army or Beast cards meet the conditions below, they deal damage next:
- The card has the Nimble trait.
- The card acts as the attacker and holds the Charge trait.
- The card functions as the defender and possesses the Guard trait.

Ten slotte, any card yet to inflict damage will deal its damage.
During an assault on a castle, the attacking card delivers damage and simultaneously receives 1 damage from the castle, unless the attacker boasts the Protected trait. It’s worth noting that Support cards do not inflict damage on castles.
