Playing Geezy can be quite challenging due to his unique mechanics that distinguish him from other characters. It may require some time to become accustomed to these mechanics. Echter, these distinct features enable Geezy to set up an infinite turn.
Achieving this is no walk in the park. It will likely take numerous attempts to successfully execute this combination, but once you do, you’ll be proudly unlocking the Big Playa Achievement!
Geezy’s Shop and You
When playing as Geezy, there’s a crucial rule to keep in mind: you cannot combine cards of the same rarity to create a higher rarity card, even if they are identical. Echter, there’s a silver lining to banishing cards – you receive coins for your efforts in waste disposal.
Early in the game, your earnings from banishing are modest at best. Aanvullend, acquiring cards can be expensive, particularly when factoring in the cost of refreshing the shop. Dus, a critical decision arises in the early game when playing Geezy: “The Plan.” You must decide on your desired build and combinations promptly to avoid accidentally refreshing away crucial cards.
My personal strategy typically involves selecting 2-3 towers I aim to obtain. Based on these towers, I identify the best buff cards, preferably those that benefit at least 2, if not all 3 of my chosen towers. A solid practice is to have a tower with high speed, another with high damage, and one with crowd control capabilities. Echter, don’t hesitate to experiment and find what works best for you.
With the recent update, we now have the option to select our 2 starter towers. It’s a logical choice to play these cards again when they become available to upgrade your towers to blue rarity. If your luck with RNG is favorable, you can even utilize an additional structure slot to merge your starter towers up to purple rarity, as green structure cards aren’t destroyed upon use. The effectiveness of this strategy depends on the relic options you receive at the end of a stage and whether your third tower gets a high roll in the shop early on.
Infinite Turn Preparation
To achieve an infinite turn, there are a couple of essential components we’ll require.
Eerst en vooral, we need a reliable source of mana generation, which we can obtain by playing the Salvage card.
Another crucial element for creating an infinite turn is the ability to sell cards for more gold than you initially purchased them for. Om dit te bereiken, we’ll stack some Insurance cards. You might also consider incorporating a couple of Temptations into your strategy to reduce your overall spending.
It’s worth noting that before you embark on your infinite turn in earnest (as mentioned in “just a few cards now”), you’ll need to have enough gold to purchase one or two cards. Typisch, you can obtain this gold by banishing a few undesirable cards or rocks. If you had different plans in mind, now is the ideal moment to make this adjustment.
The success of your infinite turn strategy may hinge on the draw order, especially if you incorporate a significant amount of card draw in your deck. It’s possible that it will take a turn or two to arrange the cards in the correct order to initiate the infinite turn. A useful tip is to ensure that rocks have the potential to provide mana, as this can be a valuable asset in this scenario. Aanvullend, playing a Hot Potato can be advantageous since it might enable you to draw a Praise Be card when you play a Rock, further enhancing your combo.
I do advise stacking up on some luck, but it isn’t a requirement.
Once you have the fundamental components in place, the next step is to acquire some draw cards. To sustain the infinite turn, you’ll require a minimum of 2 Praise Be cards. While it’s possible to manage with 1 Praise Be and 1 Herladen, it can be a bit mana-intensive.
If you happen to come across it, incorporating a strip or two into your deck could be a viable strategy. Once you’ve successfully initiated your infinite turn, the loss of shield won’t be a significant concern. A 0-cost card that allows you to draw another card essentially functions as if that card wasn’t in your deck at all, except for the possibility of the game providing you with additional rocks.
A crucial component of this strategy is a single buff card – the card you intend to repeatedly play to gain immense power. The entire purpose of this tactic is to utilize one specific card extensively. In most cases, this card would be a purple rarity Invigaron, as it offers substantial benefits for many builds.
The Infinite Turn
Now that you’ve got all the essential components and know-how, it’s time to put your plan into action. Here’s a step-by-step guide to executing your infinite turn strategy:
- Thin Your Deck: The goal is to reduce your deck to either 1 of 0 cards left to draw (consider both your deck and discard piles).
- Draw Order:
- Play Praise Be if you have it.
- Play Reload if you have it.
- Play Scrape if you have it.
- Play Rock (choose the one with the most relevant stat boost) if you have it and still need more mana.
- Banishing Order:
- Banish cards that are not for drawing or buff stacking.
- Banish Rocks (starting with the least relevant stat boost).
- Be cautious when banishing Reload. Ensure you have enough cards in hand to reach the infinite turn before banishing Reloads.
- Managing Your Hand: Once you’re down to 1 of 0 cards left to draw and have a Praise Be in your hand, you can safely banish anything that isn’t your last Praise Be or your Buff Card. Keep in mind that there is a hand-size limit, so don’t overdo it.
- Just a Few Cards Left: In dit stadium, things become straightforward. Buy high mana cost cards from the shop until you have 2 cards left to draw. Dan:
- Play a Praise Be to draw all cards.
- Banish the high-cost card(S) to gain their mana cost and gold.
- If your mana is low, repeat this process.
- If you have plenty of mana, play your Buff Card, followed by your other Praise Be. Dan, you can start buying cards again.
- Growing Your Mana Pool: In theorie, you can expand your mana pool by buying and banishing 2-cost cards (buy, draw (-1), banish (+2)). Echter, it’s advisable to focus on cards that cost 3 or more mana or even 4+ mana, depending on your current resources, banish gains, and mana efficiency. You can also refresh the shop for better offers if you have the gold to spare.
To simplify this routine while playing, volg deze stappen:
- Buy high-cost cards in the shop until you have 2 cards left to draw.
- Play Praise Be.
- Banish high-cost card(S).
- Check your mana: If it’s low, restart the routine.
- Play your Buff Card.
- Play your other Praise Be.
- Nu, you can buy more cards or repeat the routine as needed.
Just remember, “low” mana means your mana is less than your Buff Card’s mana cost (bijv., 3 for Invigaron) en de 2 mana cost of Praise Be (2). If you’re not comfortable living on the edge, consider building up your mana pool before attempting the full routine.
The Power Draw Infinite Turn
A card called “Power Draw” can enhance the efficiency of infinite turns, but it also introduces a level of complexity to the strategy.
After playing the first “Power Draw,” there’s a possibility of drawing a card whenever you use a card. Vervolgens, a card like “Praise Be” would either draw 2 of 3 cards in this scenario. To optimize this, you can transition into a 3-to-draw cycle by adding another “Praise Be” to your deck. Once you have 3 “Praise Be” kaarten, modify your routine’s buying step to aim for a 3-to-draw setup. Play a “Praise Be” to draw them when needed. Op deze manier, even if your discard pile contains 2 “Praise Be” kaarten, you’ll still have one left. You can then purchase one more high-value card, play another “Praise Be,” and use your Buff Card as mana allows, ensuring not to exceed the 3-to-draw limit.
If this strategy seems overly complex, maak je geen zorgen. If you happen to overdraw, you’ll receive a message indicating that there are “no cards left to draw.” In dergelijke gevallen, you can safely revert to your previous routine without any issues.
Power Buffing Cards
I’ve consistently referred to the example of “Invigaron” throughout this discussion, but it’s worth noting that you have the flexibility to use any other buff card of your choice. You can amplify your Elemental damage or go for an “Unholy Crit” approach.
Aanvullend, if you have the financial resources, you can experiment with playing numerous Yellow-rarity cards that activate when burned on play. Feel free to get creative and explore the shop for more “Mana-Sacrifice” kaarten. Echter, do keep in mind that there is a limitation on the size of your hand, so manage your card draw accordingly.
My Playthrough, Opmerkingen, and Other Thoughts
I apologize for the washed-out appearance of my screenshots. My HDR display tends to affect the quality of the screenshots.
My Run
During my playthrough, I encountered challenges in surviving long enough to establish everything as intended. In this run, I focused exclusively on unholy towers, incorporating various powers, with a specific emphasis on the “Butcher of Sins” and crowd control. To kickstart my tower setup, I used “Oordeel” en “Unholy MG” torens. I manually ended the run when my “Sinners Punished” Counter reached 100,000.
Game Performance
Considering the extent to which I pushed the limits, the abundance of skulls wasn’t surprising. Echter, I must caution against going to such extremes. The run took over 3 uur, and the game experienced noticeable stuttering and lag between turns.
I appreciated that the game fully paused during my turns, which meant that despite my decision to skip every subsequent turn, the game would smoothly resume, and interactions remained as seamless as usual. I did have concerns about potential crashes during the periods when the game ran between turns.
The game’s performance didn’t significantly change from when I initially initiated the infinite turn to when I concluded my playthrough. Echter, I did observe a gradual increase in my PC’s resource usage, which is a normal occurrence.
On Sinners Punished and Score
Achieving 100,000 sinners certainly yielded a high score. Echter, it’s worth noting that 20,000 sinners are sufficient to reach the desired 200,000 score for the achievement. This is another reason why I recommend not going to such extreme lengths if your goal is to attain this achievement. Several players have reported crashing issues when playing endless mode, so caution is advised.
