Forest Star – All Achievements and Endings Guide

Forest Star has 9 different in-game Achievements/Endings and this guide describes how to get them. This is the first guide I made, so I hope this is helplful and feel free to leave feedback in the comments!

Basisprincipes

This is still a work in progress! I will at more details while I play through all the endings.

There are six different locations in this game:

1. Thuis
2. Woud
3. Dorp
4. Beach
5. River
6. Heuvel

You can gain XP by picking up items, talking to animals and helping them with their fetch quests.
Every level unlocks a new ability which gives you access to new areas and actions.

• Niveau 2 unlocks ‘Dexterity’ to unlock the Sheep pen and the ability to interect with Palm Trees.
• Niveau 3 unlocks ‘Focus’ this is helpful to find hidden objects and animals and Tortoise becomes available as a companion
• Niveau 4 unlocks the ability to jump across the river and to talk to Crocodile.

Each level will give you extra HP, you start at lvl 1 with 20HP.

At lvl 2 this will be increased to 24HP, lvl 3 = 25HP & lvl 4 = 26HP

Throughout the game you can find several kinds of food, eating them will replenish your HP:

• Acorn (5HP)
• Wortel (10HP)
• Kokosnoot (15HP)
• Blue Mushroom (5HP)

There are also a couple of one time use food items hidden in the game:

• Water (1HP) – Found in sheep pen (Dorp)
• Koffie (10HP) – Found on table (Dorp)
• Banaan (12HP) – Found with Focus (Beach)
• You can find extra acorns and carrots with Focus

Er zijn 16 different animals you can interact with.

Three of these can become your companion and they all have different abilities:

• Owl (Thuis)
  + Can fly over thorny flowers to retrieve an item for you
  – When you try to talk to Mouse, Owl will eat them, which makes you unable to interact with them
• Tortoise (Woud)
  + Is a good listener and his shield will reduce damage from animal attacks
  – Will slow you down
• Konijn (River)
  + Can jump
  – Is very impatient and if you ask them to leave they will not be available to become a companion again in that playthrough.

Solitary Monkey

To get this achievement you have to start the game by choosing the option: “I’m glad there’s no one around to disturb this peaceful night!”

During this playthrough, you cannot ask any of the animals to be your companion.

Social Animal

To get this achievement you have to start the game by choosing the option: “It’s kind of lonely though, being here just by myself.”

During this playthrough you need to ask Owl, Tortoise AND Rabbit at least once to be your companion for a part of your journey.

Easy Going

Play the game however you want, there is only one thing you need to do to get this achievement: Just make sure to Examine the meteorite WITHOUT having a Companion with you.

* You can have companions throughout this playthrough, but you need to ask them to leave before examining.

Mischief Maker
