ASTLIBRA Revision All Chest Locations Guide

De basis

To break this down, the guide is going to be broken down by chapter and location. Outside of the save point rooms, I’ve given each screen [which I am counting as an individual room] it’s own title or number. Screenshots will be included to help further show where stuff is.

The type of activator – we’ll call it – will be listed for each. You will also be advised what the item you get is and if there are additional requirements that may help you get the chest.

It is also a good idea to have the skill [Karon’s Nose] equipped at all times just so you know if you missed a chest. There is a Treasure BOX counter at the bottom of the screen that’ll be red if you’ve missed a treasure, or white if there none, or you’ve collected them all,

Arrow Target. You’ll need to hit this with an item to get a chest to appear

Green Up Arrow. You’ll need to stand in front of this and press ‘Up’ on your keyboard or controller of choice to get a chest to appear.

Destroy Everything. You’ll need to destroy everything in the room this includes enemies and objects [bomen, trash, bushes etc] to get the chest to appear

Already Visible. These are chests that are already on the screen when you get there. They may be hidden behind something but nothing else needs to be done other than interacting with them

As you make your way across this screen, Jij’ll be stopped by an event telling you about hidden chests. It’ll point out the Arrow Target in front of you.

This chest is on the left side of the room. Climb up then head left you’ll see a ledge toward the top of the room. Keep going forward and you’ll fall to where the chest is.

On the same screen as your house and the entrance to the castle will be the mansion. It’s just before the castle entrance. Go in the mansion. Jij’Ik heb nodig 2 keys to get the item in here.

When you’re in your house, head out the door on the far-right. You’ll see two giant rocks, destroy them. They have 1 million HP, so it might be best to do this later when you’re stronger and have skills to boost attack.

Path to Rispadar Castle

You can go when it’s nighttime in the city. Go to where the guard usually is and keep going right. Keep going and you’ll see a big open space. Anders, Jij’ll need to wait until Chapter 7 once you have the sleep aid, use that on the guard during the day then go to the next screen. In the near middle is an Arrow Target. Get super close to the edge, take out your crossbow and aim. Once you hit it, Jij’ll hear the chime. You can also use Zero Gravity and throw a wooden arrow at it. Cross the gap and claim your prize

From the save point go through the grass walkway then head left into the next room. Jij’ll see a Green Up Arrow on the upper left–hand side of the room.

As you head through here, Jij’ll see a chest in the ceiling. Keep heading right and you’ll see a big hill. Climb to the top of that hill then jump over to the left ledge. Continue through the wall and collect your chest.

Bridion Swamp Cave

When you stand on the big hill in the middle of this room, Jij’ll see a chest underneath you. This is the beginning of the tricky / mean locations. Drop down to the right side of the hill and walk against the side of it. Jij’ll see a vertical strip of stone, this is a door.

Bridion Swamp Cave

From the giant hill in the center of this room, Jij’ll see long platform to your right. Do a running double jump to make it to that platform. Head right and stop just before the ledge. Jij’ll see an Arrow Target. You can do a jump off while using a wooden arrow, that should hit it as you begin to fall down.

Inside the Goblin’s Lair 1

When you enter this area, directly behind the first goblin you encounter is a Green Up Arrow against the right–hand wall. The chest will appear in the hole in the bottom left of the room, Just jump and walk through the wall .

When you enter this room from the bottom you’ll see a Green Up Arrow on the upper left–hand side of the room. Clear out the enemies then go to the arrow.

Belkade Volcano: Inner Upper Level 2

As you make your way through this room, toward the end of it you’ll see a Green Up Arrow in some lava. Be quick to press up so you don’t take too much damage. Once the chest spawns on the rocks above, head to the right jumping over the gap and walk into that wall. From here Jump up while holding left then right and you’ll climb up to your treasure.

Belkade Volcano: Inner Middle Level 4, Magma Corridor

As you make your way in this room, Jij’ll see a chest hanging out in a little alcove just above you. You have a couple spires just to the left of it, the one you’ll want to use had the dead grass patch on it. You can get this on your first visit you need to dash, do a jump slash and hold right as you raise up in the air and then double jump. This will land you just on the edge of the alcove.

Belkade Volcano: Inner Middle Level 4, Magma Corridor

Zodra jij’re in this room, keep going left, Jij’ll pass all the crags and begin walking on the lava. Toward the end of this room, Jij’ll see an Arrow Target. Jij’ll wanna stand just to the right of the molten rock in the background.

Belkade Volcano: Inner Middle Level 4, God of War’s Domain

From the save point, go left into the next room, then drop down to next room. On the rock you’re standing on, Jij’ll see other rocks below it and next to that a piece of land with some slimes on it. Clear the slimes then launch your weapon to the right, Het’ll hit and break the rocks, jump in the gap and keep going right. Jij’ll see a doorway. Go through that. Zodra jij’re in you’ll get a small cutscene. Walk forward and claim the chest then leave. This is a very late game area and you’ll die in 1 hit if you stick around

When you drop down from the upper level, Jij’ll see a Green Up Arrow just to the left of a small rock jutting up out of the ground

Belkade Volcano: Inner Lower Middle Level 2

Get yourself on the ledge opposite the mining point, in the middle of the room, face the right wall and attack it. Jij’ll destroy a large bit of rock covering that chest. Go back a screen, drop down just after entering it and use the bottom exit by the Flame Spider to get to that chest. Be quick though as the damage will pile up if you stay on the lava.

Belkade Volcano: Middle to Lower Volcano Corridor 2

Battle your way through this room, once you defeat the Flame Spider, look just above you. Daar’s a ledge you can jump onto and from there a visible maze–like layout. Follow that up and around and you’ll see an Arrow Target. Jump across to where the Target is.

Drop down from the screen with the save point and head left. Just past the signpost you’ll see an Arrow Target in the upper left–corner, near some rocks.

This is another mean one. In this room you’ll come across a bridge. On the bridge is a Green Up Arrow. Hitting it won’t mean you can get it. Head to the right some more and drop down, draai, and hug the left wall. Look familiar? Use the Goblin’s Stone Key then head left to claim your prize

Outside Elizas: Toward the East Coast 2

Drop down from the last room and look at the left wall. You can see chest at the bottom. Head left and jump toward that wall. You can walk through the upper part of the wall. Head on down and claim your prize.

When you enter this room, Jij’ll see a block directly in front of you. You will need a bomb to blow that block up. Head right after taking care of the block to get your chest.

Church of Elizas: Shortcut to the Door Prohibiting Men

You can get here through the door in the church that had the Sea Serpent’s seal on it or via the ladder in the room with the save point “Door Prohibiting Men”. When you enter, on the right side of the room. Jij’ll see a Green Up Arrow sitting on a table.

Church of Elizas: Behind the Statue of the Goddess

Jij’ll come into this room from where the Shield of Laia is held if you keep going left. On the right–hand side of the room is a chest. Jump across the gap and grab the chest. This might be the only miss-able chest since once you complete this chapter you can’t reach it any more.

In this room, Jij’ll see a large hill in the middle, continue beyond that and you’ll see an Arrow Target in the air just to the right of the light rays coming down from the ceiling. Once you hit the target, head back to the hill but don’t jump up, just keep walking back

When you enter this room, Jij’ll see spikes on the ground and a switch on the far–rechterkant. Drop down into the water and head left, jumping over the spikes, collect your chest.

When you enter this room, take out the enemies so you can explore freely. In the 2nd half of this room in the other section with rising water, start from where the giant rock that separates the two sections. Head right and drop down. As you get closer first bit of ground you can jump on, Jij’ll see a Green Up Arrow just to the right of it. Jump onto that bit of land then drop off the other side.

At this save point, double jump across to the right and climb that hill. Head all the way back and take out the Sea Urchin. Open the chest.

As you make your way through this room, just before the end of it, Jij’ll see a hill, climb to the top of that then you’ll see a ledge on the upper–right hand side. Do a double jump to that ledge and walk forward to claim your prize.

From the chest location above. At the start of that room is a hole in the ground, drop down into that hole. Jij’ll then be in a new room with a section submerged in water. Head down into the water and head right. The first chest will be above you, double jump out of the water to get the chest.

From the first chest in this room, drop back down into the water and continue heading to the right. Jumping to regain oxygen as needed. This next chest is in the water and visible.

From the underwater chest, Jij’ll see a strip of land above you. Double jump up to that platform then head right a little. Just before the save point you’ll see the final chest in this room, on the next platform above you. You can get this by dashing to the left then double jumping to the right to get around the lip of that platform.

This room will have a save point – Vandaar de naam. Go right past the hut and climb up the hill. At the very top you’ll see a Green Up Arrow.

Walk through the doorway in the room that has 4 batcats in it. The chest is on the far–right hand side of the room. Jij’ll need to dash and double jump to get to the platform it’s on

We got 4 chests in this room so lets go. Just above you, Jij’ll see a Green Up Arrow. Double jump up to the right then over to the left and head to the mining point. After activating the arrow, head back to the right for your chest.

Drop down from where you got the last chest and head right. Jij’ll see a door with nothing covering the top of it. Do not open the door, instead double jump on top of it. Then double jump to the platform to the right and again to the platform above it.

Drop down from where you got the last chest and head right. Jij’ll see a building that’s covered. Er zijn 2 doors on either side of it. Walk through the door and go to the center of that little room, Jij’ll see the prompt to open the chest.

Head out of that small room and jump on top of the well roof. Double jump to the pillar then double jump again to the top of a ruined building. Go behind the rock and hit Circle to open the chest.

In this room, there is a hidden chest. Climb the statue at the start of the room, Base to feet to right hand then tip of the Halberd. From the tip double jump left and go behind the wall. Press Circle.

Ga naar rechts. In the next room, You’ll need a bomb to destroy that block. Follow the path and grab the chest.

As you go through this room, you’ll notice a chest at the bottom just near the exit. Make sure you’re on the middle level then head left toward the mining point. Walk past that point and you’ll drop down. Head right across the metal grating to get your chest.

At this save point, head left and go behind the staircase. You’ll see an Arrow Target underneath the stairs

Research Lab 1st Floor: Flooded Chamber

When you enter this room, you’ll see an Arrow Target on the other side of the wall. Make you way through and clear out the enemies to have an easier time getting to the target and the chest. Chest will appear on the other side of the wall near the door you came in.

On the upper level of this room, you’ll see a Green Up Arrow to the right of a box implanted into the platform..

When you enter this room head left just a little. You’ll see a Green Up Arrow on the right-hand side of the room. Ga naar rechts, clear the gap and drop down. Turn left and walk toward that wall. You’ll be covered by a bush and be on top of the arrow

From the Data Console Room, go through the right door and keep going. You’ll need the ID card to go through it. You’ll see the chest sitting there behind the red hopper. There is an alternate route to this one. From the 3rd Floor Elevator, hoofd naar rechts, go up the steps in the next room and in the room after that head left through the door. You’ll come out by the mining spot.

This one is mean. Go to the end of this room and in the opening in the floor you’ll see an Arrow Target. Go stand on the outcropping of rock, Jij’ll want to make sure you’re standing on the bottom-most bit and be as close to the next bit up as possible. Throw a Vijaya from here. OR you can time your Zero Gravity and use a wooden arrow.
