The developer of Military Conflict: Vietnam has released a new update for the game on April 17, 2024. Here are the new things that you should expect to see or change on this new update. This information was curated directly from the official announcement on Steam.

- Added new weapon M1919A6
- Fixed possibility to sprint while being crouch
- Fixed bug when viewmodel bodygroups were not reset after switching weapon so new weapon could appear with wrong bodygroups
- Fixed skin of a thrown an-m8 smoke was incorrect, css thrown model doesn’t have proper skin
- Fixed bug when colorable smokes appeared with wrong initial skin
[Workshop]
- host_workshop_collection command renamed to workshop_start, host_workshop_collection now downloads items from a specified workshop collection
[Server]
- Reworked gas grenade damage, now it can hurt any allowed creature. Also damage radius now grows over time, more or less following particle.
Player damage timing may be a little different now - Fixed bots not bringing the binoculars to their face when calling an airstrike
[Client]
- Fixed graphical glitch with 3d skybox on usns card map if r_3dsky_draw_last is enabled
- Fixed mistake in viewmodel matrix which caused ssao or dof on viewmodels to flicker
- Fixed rendering issue with skybox while watching death animation if r_3dsky_draw_last is enabled weapons with custom skin now appear correctly in loadout selection menu
- Fixed bug when 21:9 aspect ratio was appearing in windowed mode on resolutions smaller than 1920×810
- If there is no supported resolutions for given aspect ratio then selecting None will set resolution to 1024×768 instead of triggering D3D9 error
- Fixed getting stuck in holding breath after death

- Changed final blending mode for volumetric light to reduce amount of flickering pixels visible
[Miscellaneous]
- Reduced shimmering around sniper scope when dof is disabled by switching to different downsampling method which seems to not affect perfomance too much

- USNS Card improved performance
- Cao Lang Rice Fields added more foliage and bug fixes
[Weapons]
- M1919A6 light machine gun added to the game
- M656 sniper rifle increased accuracy
- Fixed certain weapon particles rendering through the wall
