The developer of Malignant Survivors has released a new update for the game on April 5, 2024. Here are the new things that you should expect to see or change on this new update. This information was curated directly from the official announcement on Steam.

Localization fixes
Some localization settings (eg. Japanese) has problems on some entries. Now all of the entries are tested automaticly to avoid localization issues. -
Performance fixes
Improvements on the killing massive chunks. -
Full controller support.
- Auto sticking controller pointer on UI elements.
- Button indicators on UI.
- Gamepad vibration when hero gets critical hit (can be disabled on new options panel).

Whole new options panel with detailed settings.
- Enable disable in-run panels.
- Allow the game run in background (when unfocused).
- Balance adjustments, malignants will have more health now, so the progress will be slower to make the game easier (It sounds a bit weird, but believe me :D)
If you don’t like the new patch, you can always switch back to old version:
MalignantSurvivors -> Properties -> BETAs -> oldversion
