Victory Conditions
허락하다’s get you up to speed on your first deployment!
After you complete the Tutorial, 너’ll want to play a real battle. 현재, our main game mode is Last Stand played on 지도 “Maryland Heights”.
이 모드에서는, the main goal is to build up your Hunter for the Last Stand at the Extraction Zone — a randomly selected point that you need to capture and hold to win.
You can grow your power by hunting Drones, defeating other Hunters and collecting equipment from Supply Pods. Remember that Steel Hunters is a team game — stick together with your teammate and help each other to win!
There are two ways to win:
- Capture and hold the Extraction Zone. If no other squad manages to recapture it and the timer runs out — you win the match!
- 대안으로, you can just eliminate all other contenders! You can find the remaining team and player count in the top right corner, next to the radar.

How to Respawn
If your Hunter is destroyed, your fight isn’t over so long as your squad mate is alive! You can respawn after some time, and even help your ally while you’re spectating. All this may seem a little complex, so this section of the guide will walk you through the basics.
허락하다’s first cover the respawning mechanic alone.
- When you are eliminated, you begin by spectating your surviving ally with the camera locked on them.
- There is a timer at the top of your screen counting down the time left until you can respawn. Your squad mate can reduce this countdown by completing Battle Tasks displayed on your screen, for example destroying an enemy Hunter.
- Respawning is an active ability, requiring you to hold E to activate it. Your surviving ally cannot take damage while you’re attempting to respawn — it will interrupt the process and require you to start from the beginning.
- Once you respawn, your Hunter isn’t fully combat ready — you will be completely immune to damage for a period of time, though you won’t be able to fire, 공격, dash or use any abilities. Use this time to pick up Repair Kits, Cores and any other items you may need!
Waiting for the countdown may seem boring, 하지만 돈’걱정 — you can do more than watch! We have an Active Spectator system that allows you to help your ally survive. 여기’s how it works:
- You can use special boosts to help your ally, increasing their damage or granting other perks like shields, damage reduction and more.
- These boosts are available as cards a few seconds after you die, and then after a cooldown following each activated boost.
- You always have three cards to choose from. The initial selection is always the same, subsequent cards are randomized.
- If you do not like the available cards, press R to re-roll them with a decreased cooldown.
- 그것’s best to communicate with your ally via voice chat and ask them which boost they prefer. Some people prefer offensive perks, while others play defensively!
Respawn Boosters
As a surviving ally, you can use a Respawn Booster to reduce the respawn timer to 0 for your eliminated ally. This means that your ally can begin to respawn instantly by holding E — instead of waiting for the timer to run out.
Every Hunter starts with one Respawn Booster in their inventory and can hold only one Respawn Booster at a time. You can find additional Respawn Boosters as loot from Guard Drones and Supply Pods.
