I tried these settings, and others did too. They seem to be right about what happens in 팔월드. Some settings might be a bit puzzling, but for the most part, they’re easy to understand.
Co-Op/Multiplayer Main Settings
Day Time Speed – How quickly the day goes by.
- 1 = Regular speed.
- .5 = Half the usual speed.
- 2 = Twice the regular speed.
EXP Rate – How fast you earn XP.
- 1 = Standard XP gain.
- .5 = Half the usual XP gain.
- 2 = Double the regular XP gain.
메모: If an activity normally gives just 1 XP, it won’t go below that, even with adjustments. 예를 들어, gathering sticks will always give at least 1 XP.
Pal Capture Rate
- 1 = Usual difficulty.
- .5 = Twice as challenging.
- 2 = Twice as easy.
Pal Appearance Rate

- 1 = Standard damage rate.
- .5 = Player base buildings take only half the regular damage.
- 2 = Player base buildings take double the normal damage.
메모: This setting can be tough, especially for wooden bases with raids enabled. One wrong move from you, your pals, or the invading enemy can result in an immediate base wipe.
Structure Deterioration Rate – How quickly base buildings and objects lose durability over time.
- 1 = Regular deterioration rate.
- .5 = Buildings deteriorate only half as fast.
- 2 = Buildings deteriorate twice as fast.
If you’re just looking to relax, have fun with friends, or are new to survival crafting games, feel free to set this lower. No one will judge you.
Maximum Number of Dropped Items in the World – The limit for dropped items before they disappear.
- 3000 = Default limit.
- 0 = Dropped items vanish instantly, including mob drops and resource nodes.
Gatherable Items Multiplier – How many gatherable items are found in groups.
- 1 = Standard grouping.
- .5 = Gatherable items scattered about are less frequent.
- 2 = Gatherable items scattered about are more abundant.
Gatherable Objects HP Multiplier – The health of gathering nodes.
- 1 = Standard health.
- .5 = Gathering nodes require only half as many swings to harvest.
- 2 = Gathering nodes take twice as long to harvest.
THIS ONE IS IMPORTANT! Many people seem confused about this across Steam and the internet, and I’ve extensively tested to ensure this information is accurate.
메모: Changing this setting in an existing world won’t affect existing nodes until they are gathered from and then respawn. The amount of resources and XP are not affected, only the damage or number of swings with an axe or pickaxe needed to get resources from the node.
The more swings you need equates to more durability loss to your tools. Unlike some other survival games where hitting the node longer gives more resources, in THIS game, with a metal pickaxe, you’ll get roughly 120-122 ore from a node. This setting only determines the number of swings needed to gather.
Gatherable Objects Respawn Interval – How quickly gatherable/harvestable resources come back.
- 1 = Regular respawn rate.
- .5 = Resources respawn twice as fast.
- 2 = Resources respawn only half as fast.
Dropped Items Multiplier – The amount of loot dropped by pals/enemies.
- 1 = Standard loot.
- .5 = Half as much loot.
- 2 = Double the loot.
시간 (in hours) to Incubate Eggs – The duration eggs need to incubate before hatching.
- 1 = Normal rate (1 hour for the largest egg).
- 0 = Eggs hatch immediately.
- 72 = The largest eggs take 72 hours to hatch.
Enable Raid Events – Whether player bases can face random hostile NPC/Wild Pal raids.
- Yes = NPC raids will occur.
- No = NPC raids are disabled.
I’d recommend waiting to turn this on until you’re familiar with the game. I’ve experienced base wipes from low-level enemies using fire and water pals not extinguishing blazes as expected. You can always enable or disable this later if you change your mind.
Death Penalty – What items players drop upon death.
- Drop all items = Default (lose your entire inventory and need to retrieve it).
- Drop all items and pals on the team = Lose everything, including your pal team, when you die.
- Drop all items except equipment = Drop your inventory but keep equipped items and pals.
- No drops = Keep everything when you die.
Max number of guilds – The maximum number of guilds in the world.
- 20 = Default limit.
There’s a maximum of four players per guild, and if you’re playing co-op with friends, you’ll need to level up your bases individually before joining the same guild due to the limitations on the number of allowed bases. This won’t impact you if you’re building a base together with one Palbox, but separate bases will have to wait until you level up a bit.
Max Pals Working at Base – The maximum number of pals that can be deployed at a single base.
- 15 = Default amount.
- 20 = Maximum limit.
메모: If you’re hosting a co-op server and set this to 20, your computer may experience some performance issues.
