If you’re anything like me, then you probably don’t like the addition of voice acting to the official release of Bannerlord. Now I’m not here to disparage the voice actors or anything, but personally, I much prefer to play Mount and Blade while imagining for myself what characters sound like, rather than listening to the same collection of voice lines across multiple characters. The problem is so bad, 실제로, that I straight up haven’t been able to play the game, which is routinely infuriating when everything could be solved with a simple “Voice Volume” 슬라이더.
Having had enough, and finding zero help online, I finally set my mind to start rummaging through the game’s files and not stop until I found a fix. 그리고, as fortune would have it, the fix is as simple as deleting some files!

If in doubt, you can always find the folder by going to Bannerlord in your Steam Library, right-clicking its name in your Library list, and selecting Properties > 로컬 파일 > 먹다…

(If you’re worried about damaging your files, you can backup this entire folder before deleting it, though you can also restore everything by verifying your game files through the Steam Library—there are plenty of guides explaining how to do that.)
