Hardland 100% Achievements and Walkthrough Guide

Hardland has a completely free style of gameplay, which allows you to explore the game in the order you want, without necessarily having a sequence that must be followed. 물론, to unlock some secrets, you need to find some clues or talk to some npc’s and one thing leads to another, which suggests a logical sequence, but to finish the game you don’t necessarily need to do everything and not even in the sequence that would be “옳은”. It is possible to defeat stronger enemies using weaker equipment and vice-versa, of course this can make the task more difficult, but if you can do it, great! And this is the strength of the game in my opinion.
The story of the game is extremely complex, and needs a good command of English to understand well (while no one releases a translation). But even with a basic command of the language it is possible to understand enough to enjoy the narrative.

게임 역학

Basically you are a knight who has woken up after a shipwreck in a kingdom. At first the map expands as you explore. Your inventory has space to store items and to equip your character. All items have a price, and can be used or traded with the merchants that appear on the map.

The fires can be used to save your progress in the game, as well as to rest and choose the time of day to wake up (아침, 오후, and Evening). It also plays an important role in dreams. Depending on the combination of food and drink consumed before sleeping by the fire, your character may dream of events that help clarify the game’s story, pick up items, or progress on a certain quest. (Some items can only be found in dreams).

Step by step

1. Wake up on the beach, get the relic (머리)
2. Sleep at the first campfire and level up by eating the heart
3. Go to Fortuna, then Fortuna’s Rest at night to steal the priest’s key
4. Go to Fortuna’s market and enter the well to free the witch
5. Activate all the Altars on the map (they appear as 4-leaf clovers on the map)
6. 얻다 8 “Elder Parts
7. Talk to the witch in “Blue-light Bayou” and build the “Puppet King” in the cauldron
8. Take the Puppet King to one of the altars and travel through it to “Unhealed Wound”
9. Talk to the “Eldest Part”
10. Place a “true wish” item in the left cauldron, another of your choice in the right cauldron and choose the middle one for yourself
11. Pronto! Game over!

레벨 업

To level up your character you have to eat the hearts:

• 1 large heart = 1 수준
• 2 drowning hearts = 1 수준
• 4 “soft” hearts = 1 수준

메모: Try to avoid eating the big hearts before you gain access to the Root Hall (you will need some of them to get in)

Elder parts

Although you only need 8 parts of the king to finish the game, I will put here the location of the 14 parts for those who want to explore.

• 머리: 게임 시작시, near the broken ship
• Western Fist: Sold by any zombie merchant (~ 사이 “Snow Peak and “White Knucle Warf” there is one. 사이 “Blue-light bayou” 그리고 “Root Hall” there is another. Also near Dholac Pillars. In the desert between “Port Pulgar” 그리고 “Port of Palms”, near the cemetery)
• Eastern Fist: Located in “Fortuna’s Rest”. You must steal this part by entering Fortuna’s Rest at night, with the monk disguise obtained behind the Tavern
• Western Eye: Solve the riddle of Red Rotgerious.It is not difficult, just talk to Red Rotgerious and dig in the cemetery around his house at the highlighted graves. Then talk to him again
• Eastern Eye: Riddle of the stolen mask in Snow Peak Find the impostor Elf (Described below in the “업적 – Part 1” section under Mask and Mirror). 이후, go to the witch in Blue Light Bayou, take an apple from her tree and give it to her to cast a spell. Take the apple to Snow Peak and show the impostor.
• Eastern Horn: Located in Horn Lodge. You must decipher the riddle of Horn Lodge by buying an animal mask and finding the “Wild Mantra”, which can be found in Snow Peak or at one in Menhir Mill. Then simply make the right choices inside the Lodge.
• Western Horn: at Dhulac Pillars, drown yourself in the lake at Dhulac Pillars and find the part.
• King’s Tongue: Secret Hatch in Old Path.In Old Path there is an ancient symbol (it looks like a gun sight), it is the same one found at the bottom of the lake in Dhulac Pillars. Dig next to it and enter the hatch. 내부에, talk to the Skeleton King and get the Tongue from him (Be careful afterwards!)
• Eastern Stump: in St.Orfeos. Defeat all the invading Goblins and free the monk. Talk to him and get the share.
• Western Stump: in Port of Palms. Enter the Port of Palms Mint wearing the Baron Vonsmark mask. After choosing sides in the dispute between Port of Palms and Port of Pulgar (you must advance in the game for this to happen), take the share.
• King’s Steak: in Stone Wizard. I found this to be the most difficult. After finding the 3 wizards in red, you will be able to buy wine from them. Make the dream recipe that involves wine and in the dream, collect the ghost part. 이후, wake up and go to a circle of stones with a statue of a wizard and use the ghost part.
• King’s Branch: in Altar Malpris. You should be able to reach the inner part of the Adventure’s Guild through the altars. There you will discover that it is precisely the king’s part that is blocking the door, just remove it.
• King’s Splinter: inside the Blue Fish. After freeing Port of Pulgar, meet the wizard at the old alchemist’s place. He will tell you about his missing fish. After exhausting the dialogue, go to the tavern in Port of Pulgar and talk to the man sitting in front of the blue fish. Talk to the wizard again and go to the tavern again, this time the wizard will be there. Talk to him and agree to be shrunk so that you can take the missing part from inside the fish.
• Kings Bezoar: in Elven Cidadel. After getting the real flute, enter the bridge-protected part of Elven Cidadel and drop into the well, the part will be there.

Masks

Masks, 헬멧, and Hats can be used both to solve puzzles in the game, to camouflage yourself among enemies, or even to talk to them. You can buy or obtain them throughout the game.
Places that sell them:

In Adventure Guild:

• Wild Boar 7500 G
• 돼지 4000 G
• 늑대 5000 G – Wolves don’t attack you. Can be used for an achievement.
• 여우 500 G – Can ask people about their dreams.
• 닭 3000 G – Can be used for an achievement

In Snow Peak:

• 고블린 6200 G – Talks to goblins
• Goblin King 10000 G – Talk to goblins
• Ghoul Mask 250 G – Talk to Ghouls.

North of Snow Peak, near the lighthouse:

• Skeleton Mask – Can talk to the dead and the altars.

Gyrm the Rolling Mail

There is a Goblin King in “Goblin’s Tavern” who, when you talk to him wearing a Goblin mask, asks you for food recipes from other Goblin Kings. You must find these Goblin Kings on the map (있다 5 전체적으로), and talk to them wearing a “Goblin King” mask (no longer an ordinary Goblin). 결국, go back to the Goblin’s Tavern and deliver all the ingredients of the 5 recipes to the Goblin King to finish the quest.

I did not understand very well the meaning of this quest, because in the end you end up having to kill him the same way. 즉, it only serves to lose ingredients and time. I put here because I read some American guides (if anyone can find something different let me know that I edit)

메모: If you want to do this quest, DO NOT KILL the Goblin Kings before you can talk to them.

업적

현상금 사냥꾼:
Sell a large heart to the dwarf. You can find it in front of Root Hall gate, in Menhir Mill, in Fortuna’s Town or in White Knucle Warf

The Black Sheep:
Find Sir Cobold’s hat. 로 이동 “Old Path”, find the well and enter it. The hat will be next to Sir Cobold’s body.

Down in the well:
Free the witch of Hardland
이동 “Fortuna’s Rest at night and steal the priest’s key while he is sleeping
Free the witch inside the well in Fortuna’s Town and talk to her

The fortunate lady:
Give Elena the final gift
Go to the mayor’s mansion in “Fortuna’s Town” (the one with two guards in front). At the back of the mansion, talk to the npc’s and retrieve the birthday cake.
Leave the area and come back after a while and talk to the mayor again, he will give you a key to open a chest inside the mansion, take the mirror shield and bring it to Elena. She will then go to “Snow Peak” and the mission will be completed.

Cartwright Curse:
Steal the gold that is inside a structure to the left of “Vonsmark Village, near the sea.

Kuolema’s Death:
Also on the left side of “Vonsmark Village” near the sea, there is a graveyard where hangings have taken place and is full of enemies. Win the battle against Mr. Kuolema’s to receive the achievement.

Fitting:
1- 이동 “Fortuna’s Town” marketplace, enter the well and retrieve the enchanted hammer.
2- Take the hammer to Smithy, near the town market.
3- Then go to “Mountain Sheep Tavern”, still in town, and talk to Grimaldi (the man in black in front of the table).
Offer him a service (it can be retrieving a fork or a journal)
4- The fork is in the back pocket of the fish seller in the town market (Domovoi)
The diary is at Toby’s house (also in town).
Take the retrieved item to Grimaldi and then return again to Smithy the blacksmith who will make a ring that you should pick up later.

Never forgive a debt:
1- 이동 “Vonsmark Village” and kill the baron. (if you don’t want to have to kill everyone, go using the Gobblin mask).
2- Take his head to “Snow Peak” and give it to Queen Ingrid. Go back some time later and collect the baron’s mask

Bestowed:
You will need to have completed the achievement “A fortunate lady” 첫 번째.
Go to Queen Ingrid in “Snow Peak” and talk about Elena. 그 다음에, go to the castle courtyard and talk to Elena.
Go back again to talk to the queen, and she will give you the “Fortune Sword” 검 (you may have to wait a while for the dialogue to change).

Feet of the ground:
This achievement will give you the flute, which will allow you to cross the ghost bridges in the Elf citadel.
1- First you must obtain 5 bottles of “Elven Gold” which is the beer produced by the Elves and can be bought right there in the citadel.
2- Find at least 3 “Iron Ores” around the map and deliver them to 3 elves outside the citadel, after delivering the third one, the elf will give you a hint.
3- 이후, go to the camp inside the citadel and drink 5 “Elven Gold” before sleeping at the campfire.
4- During the dream, the elves will give you hints that you are “무거운”, so get rid of the armor to be able to float and get the flute and then go up to the light.
5- After getting the first flute in the dream, go to the guide inside the citadel that is near a statue with some people around. Exhaust the dialogue with him and spend some money for him to give you answers. After these steps, he will charge you to give you a second flute, buy it from him.
6- With the two flutes, go to the stone altar still inside the citadel and breathe until you pass out. After waking up, your flute will be on the stone altar, don’t forget to take it or it will disappear.

The priest’s gift:
To complete this achievement, you must first have done the “Fitting” 성취, and become a member of the bandits’ guild. Go to Gus Grimaldi in the “Mountain Sheep” tavern and he will ask you to steal the relic of “Fortuna’s Rest”.
Go to the path that leads to the back door of the tavern, take the key to the “Fortuna’s Rest” dormitory, 안으로 들어가다, and get the monk’s disguise. Using it, steal the relic during the night and return to Gus at the tavern and he will offer you another job, and give you a “선물” to put on Father Holloway.
Then return to Fortuna’s Rest and enter through the back door, go to where the priest is sleeping and place the parasite on him.

Mask and Mirror:

Emmeline:
This is perhaps the easiest achievement. Just buy the chicken mask from the Adventure’s Guild and go to the Baron Vonsmark’s mansion where the chicken Emmeline is. Put on the mask and talk to her.

The Puppet King:
This achievement is directly tied to how close the game gets to its ending, so if you want to try to finish the game on your own, I suggest not reading the resolution of this “성취”.

You will need to have at least 8 Elder Roots and 3 tappen
Place everything in the witch’s cauldron and blow up the giant pumpkin that appears next to it.

Mandrake Sap:
To do this achievement, you need to follow the steps of the “Meat for the pigs” achievement first.

1- After doing the sequence of the Meat for the pigs achievement, give Ulf 5 merchant union rings that you must have collected on the map.
2- Ulf will give you the mission to break into the merchant union bank and sabotage the entrance door, to do this, you must talk to the alchemist in the “작업장” ~에 “port of pulgar” to receive the acid.
3- After receiving the acid, talk to the alchemist again and he will give you the poison “Mandrake sap” to put in Secretary Lucas’ 마시다.
4- Go to the harbor area in the “port of pulgar”, and enter through a small opening to the left of the gate that is locked and guarded by guards. 이 지역에서는, you will find a wounded merchant, help him by giving him a “pineal elixir”, and he will give you a helmet (“Boar Helmet”).
Wearing the helmet, enter the barracks and put the “Mandrake sap” in the soup the guards are drinking.

Dragon Armor:
1- After freeing “Port of Pulgar” (regardless of which side you chose to stay on), use the key to open the “Cotodon Sand” 문.
2- 이동 “Adventure’s Guild” and talk to Guildmaster William. He will tell you that he would like to make a trip and give you the dragon armor in exchange, and you offer to take him. Then take him to Cotodon Sand, near the pier.
3- Talk to him there and then take him to Blue-light bayou and put him in the witch’s cauldron and get the armor.

Maudey Dhu:
Buy the wolf mask in “Adventure’s Guild” 그리고 그 이후, go talk to the girl dressed in a matching mask who is near “Bottom of Fortuna”.
She will give you a dream recipe to find “Maudey Dhu”. 먹다 3 Cinnamon rolls + 2 Beltayn Beer and sleep by the fire.
After the dream, go to the outer cemetery next to the walls of Snow Peak 그리고 던져 9 Cinnamon Rolls on the ground. You must do this at night. Maudey Dhu will appear, fight her and win

Glorious Dream:
Meet Emmanuel the hunter for the first time at the entrance to Fortuna’s Town, near the bridge. He will tell you a story about hunting a giant ogre, and that he will change locations.
Then meet him at the other locations until he goes to the desert near port of pulgar. There he will give you the recipe for a dream.
The recipe is just 7 코코넛 + Hardland Brew + Fortuna Lager. Sleep at the campfire.

2- Near the entrance of Root Hall
3- On the entrance ramp of Village of Vonsmark
4- In front of the entrance of Duhloc Pillars
5- In the desert, near Port Of Pulgar (next door)
6- Lonely Glenn Cemetery on the Western Coast

Meat for the Pigs:
이동 “Port Pulgar” and talk to Ulf.
He will give you the mission to bring a merchant that is captured in the harbor to feed the pigs.
Go to the port, pick up the merchant and take him outside the city limits (he will give you a “union ring”)
Go back to Ulf and talk to him, offer to feed the pigs (메모: make sure you have enough life elixir, you will need it).
Feed the guards in the following sequence:
1- Talk to Kazik (behind Ulf’s Vila, in front of the pig cage).
2- Mott (At the end of the ramp that leads to Ulf’s Village)
3- Tove and Snout (In front of the barracks entrance)
4- Cnutr and Helgi (At the harbor, near the ship)
결국, return and talk to Ulf again.

The Last Guardian:
Do the achievement “The priest’s gift” 첫 번째. After getting it, talk to Gus Grimaldi again and he will talk about planting another parasite, this time on Praak in Port Pulgar (메모, only do this after you have solved the port blockade).
이후, go back and talk to Gus.

Snow Peak:
Get a blue chicken in your inventory (you can find one near blue-light bayou). Every time you jump from a high place with the chicken in your inventory, if you leave the same jump button pressed, it cushions your fall by holding the chicken.
로 이동 “Snow Peak” castle and go up to the second floor. Jump from the top and use the chicken to land on top of the pillar structures of the pool.
On one of the beams you can see a hatch, enter it and climb to the roof of the castle.

Green Embers:
In Snow Peak a funeral is taking place in the cemetery next to the church. Talk to the npc and give him some drinks, then you will discover that the deceased is not dead, but frozen (kkkkk). Take him near a campfire and talk to him after he thaws out.
이후, the npc “Isidor” will appear sitting on the bench near the entrance ramp to Snow Peak Castle (near the wolf girl). (If he doesn’t appear, try talking to the npc “Isolde” in the church after thawing Mr. Finnegan instead).
그 다음에, go at night to “Menhir Hill” at Lady Fortuna’s grave and you will find the green fire lit, and Queen Ingrid of Snow Peak there. Sleep by the bonfire.

늑대:
After achieving the “Green embers” 성취, talk to Queen Ingrid at Lady Fortuna’s tomb, she will tell you to visit her in her tower in Snow Peak.

엔딩

The game has a total of 13 different endings. Each ending depends on the combination of items you put into the cauldrons[] in an unhealed wound[]. Each different ending represents an achievement.
