This weeks update brings a new bullet and a change to goldiggers bullet.
As some of you might have noticed, over the last two weeks or so, there was a bit of a gold rush happening in the frontier. More specifically a combo, which uses Goldiggers Bullet and the different cards that draw cards to create an infinite combo.
Goldiggers Change & the new bullet
Over the span of the last week we thought a lot about what to do with the “Goldrush Combo”.
Here is what we came up with:
Golddiggers Bullet will now only give reserves when two or more cards are drawn. The player gains half as many reserves as the number of cards drawn, 둥글게.
이는 다음을 의미합니다., that placing Silver Bullet won’t give you reserves anymore, however for example placing Diamond Bullet will give you 1 reserve.
To not completely kill the goldrush combo, we are introducing a new card in order to keep the gold rush going but making it a liiiiiiittle bit harder to achieve. This card is Wealthy Bullet: It lets you draw one additional card every time a card draw event is triggered.
About infinite combos
We are by no means opposed to infinite combos, in fact we think it is one of the most fun things in the game to find new ways to break it. 하지만, these game breaking combos should take a little bit of effort, reserves and planning. This was not the case with the old gold rush combo which is why we nerfed Golddiggers Bullet and then introduced Wealthy Bullet.
We hope we could provide y’all with a little inside in our thought process. We will monitor how this affects the game, 그리고, till then, let us know your thoughts!
Other Changes:
- fixed a Bug involving eclipse Bullet (a little bit too late for the real eclipse…) (and thanks to @Alex-x90 for reporting it!)
- Because we noticed that a lot of players had trouble understanding how shield works, we now introduced a little animation to hopefully communicate it better
- The text in the tutorial is now somewhat improved
- Burning had a similar problem, where a lot of players didn’t really understand how it affects the game. This is now improved by displaying the additional damage of the burning effect above the enemy.

We are still hard at work rebalancing the game. 또한, there are some cool things coming we won’t spoil yet 😉
