Here’s a guide that talks about getting ready for battles and provides various tips to enhance your Baldur’s Gate 3 모험. This guide aims to shed light on strategies for both beginners and experienced players. I’ve made an effort to keep spoilers to a minimum, but there are a few minor spoilers related to act 1. Let me know if there’s anything specific you’d like more information on!
소개
Greetings to my guide! If you like watching instead of reading, there’s a fully voiced and animated video below that might be more to your liking.
Fight Preparation
When getting ready for a battle, there are sneaky tactics you can use, like quietly breaking eggs before they hatch into enemies. This can give you an advantage right from the start.
You can also mess with the surroundings, making it tough for enemies to reach you. Changing the terrain can be a smart move.
Put items in important spots to be ready for a fight or use them strategically during the battle. This can make challenging encounters much easier.
If you have a strong character, they can carry boxes and build towers for your ranged fighters. 이쪽으로, they get extra benefits during combat.
In some tough fights, being on high ground gives you a better chance to hit. It’s especially helpful for fragile ranged characters who also get a defense boost.
This tactic isn’t a must, but it shows off some cool game mechanics.
기억하다, you don’t always have to face a fight head-on. You can run away and use a tactic called “fleeing.” You might use potions of invisibility or just dash away and hide. Make sure you’re at least 27 meters away, and you can hit the “서두르다” button to instantly go back to your camp.
Fleeing gives you the chance to come back later when you’re fully prepared. If you’re in a turn-based mode, it helps you apply buffs to your party. 이쪽으로, the buffs last as long as possible when the real fight begins.
Using Potions and Enhancements
게임 초반에는, flasks, 물약, and elixirs are super useful. The Potion of Speed is especially good and stays helpful the whole time you play.
You can throw potions to hit many things or drop them on the ground. 그 다음에, stand around them and attack to make the effect reach more people. Sometimes it might only help one person, but when it works for everyone, it’s super strong.
This is the same for healing potions. Throw them during a fight to heal or even bring back knocked-out friends. After a battle, drop them on the ground to heal everyone in your group.
The Bloodlust Elixir gives you an extra action when you defeat an enemy. It’s awesome for the whole game.
To make Potions of Speed, you need Hyena Ears, and for the Bloodlust Elixir, you need Warg Fangs. If you find these things, grab them!
Vendors can sell these items ready to use or the things to make them. Keep an eye out at shops for them. 또한, having more Charisma makes buying things cheaper. Start talking with your most charismatic character for the best prices.
Switch to Barter Mode with the character who talks the best to give gold or items to make vendors like you more. 그 다음에, they’ll give you better deals. Do this with your most charismatic character and start the chat with them.
Coatings for weapons are strong at the start. They help low-level characters hit more often.
Drow poison, 예를 들어, can make enemies fall asleep. This lowers the damage you take and lets you do big hits on sleeping enemies.
Put a candle or a lit torch on the ground. Dip your weapons in the flame for extra fire damage. It also lights up the place, helping you hit better without using a weapon slot for a torch.
Prone and Push
때때로, if you or enemies fall from a height, they take extra damage. There’s also a chance they become Prone, which means they can’t do as much and get other bad effects. Keep an eye out for chances to use this, like breaking a spider’s bridge when they’re on it or pushing them off.
Using Push is a bonus action, and at the start of the game, you might not have many bonus actions. Push can help you deal more damage or dodge attacks. Push the enemies away before running to avoid them hitting you back.
Perception and Burrow Holes
If you’re playing on a PC, press Alt, or hold down on the right stick on a controller to see world info. This helps when you’re looking for loot. It won’t show everything, so still check crates and barrels, but it will highlight stuff on the ground.
Not everything is revealed with ALT. To find traps and hidden things, you need the Skill Perception. It’s smart to have one character with good Wisdom and Proficiency in Perception checks!
Using Perception, you might find Burrow Holes. These are small tunnels that often lead to a new place.
You can use the Cantrip spell Mage Hand to go through and maybe press a button to open a door.
If you cast reduce on a small character like a Gnome or Halfling, they can squeeze through. The spell disguise can make you smaller, and you can combine it with Reduce.
The spell Gaseous Form lets you float through. Some gaps only need you to be small, not tiny.
플레이어로서, keep your eyes open for hidden things in the terrain. Move the camera around to find places you can jump to and get cool rewards for exploring.
Jumping Tips
때때로, jumping can cause problems with party members not wanting to jump or getting stuck. 이 문제를 해결하려면, pick a different character who has already made the jump.
그렇지 않으면 작동하지 않습니다, remember to unchain or split the party members who already jumped. 그 다음에, manually control and jump the ones who haven’t.
Having more Strength makes your jumps longer. That’s why fighters often jump better than others.
You can also put items on your Quickbar. Equip boots or other things that make you jump farther, then switch back for combat.
Jump is super handy in fights. It’s a bonus action and lets you jump over annoying enemies or allies in your way while still keeping your main action. It can also get you to high places, which we know is good from before. Don’t forget Jump – on PC, 누르다 “Z.”
보너스 팁
Shooting levers and switches usually activates them. 의심스러울 때, give it a shot.
If your characters are getting weighed down with loot, send items directly to your camp to sell later. Don’t forget to do this with camp supplies, ~도 – even fine wines!
Some items can be combined to make something bigger. Pay attention if the item name has a part or if you have multiple items that look the same.
There’s a Toggle Light Source option that lets you use your torch easily. Click it again to go back to your weapons without manually changing things.
Pressing T or down on the controller D Pad lets you check enemies for resistances and bonuses. Do this on items and spells too, especially in “Honour” mode to know the enemies’ 트릭.
Click an equipment slot to see everything that can go in it. Handy for managing inventory and making sure everyone has the best gear.
Pressing “꼬리표” on PC lets you manage the whole party at once. Useful for organizing inventory.
Advantage is great – it lets you roll two dice and pick the better result. Use the quick bar to switch back quickly, especially if it’s a skill check.
Check bookshelves – they often have scrolls, sometimes really good ones.
Water puts out fires, removes acid puddles, and cleans up blood. It can make your characters look presentable in town.
This button helps you look civilized when walking around. If you like this look, you can still use it in combat and keep the bonuses.
Most gems and metal bars, no matter how fancy, are only good for selling, not crafting.
There’s more to discover, but I hope this helps whether you’re new or experienced. 읽어주셔서 감사합니다!
