The prologue before the bus ride does not affect the pacifist run.

I will be assuming you have done a full prologue.

Skip Prologue.

Go to Options, click on Pacifist Mode.

Go into Murray’s, get quest, exit and go right to the Ocean City Watchful Eye.

Get Reporter’s Cufflinks from bottom left desk and equip it.

Read the top left desk for access to water cooler.

Get the manual from the desk to the left of the water cooler.

Enter the water cooler.

Read the calendar above.

Consult the manual and use the machine to activate the lever.

ROYGBIV Green Button, Pull the Lever, Turn the Knob, Turn to C Get Cursed Fedora.

Go back to Murray’s and talk to Jessica.

Go to uncursing machine.

Don’t uncurse the fedora yet.

You want to get your picture taken first. あなたが望むなら, you can keep it cursed and wear it to skip some combats. しかし, you will not get XP for these dodged combats.

Go to room, unpack luggage, get stamp.

Go to inventory, click on stamp, read stamp.

Go to the lockers, open the 7th locker, get overdue library book.

Pet dream cat. 得る +1 in all stats.

Choose Cheese Wizard+ Plants

Check bookcase on left, keep checking 1st option and get the book to sell later.

Exit building.

Go to Cola Wars Surplus.

Sell things for Meat.

Make sure you do not sell:

Go to bar, talk to bartender and get map. Go to the Watchful eye and read everything in the 1900-1919 ために 15 XP.

Open character sheet, buy Photosynthethic.

This means every plant you now pick up will give you 5 XP.

Open map, go to Fridge Factory. Talk to the guys. Ask how you are supposed to come up with that kind of Meat.

Go to the Park. Talk to Groundskeeper. Accept all quests. (Temporarily Disable Pacifist Mode, don’t forget to enable it immediately after.)

With the gasmask, clean all statues.

Go left to the plant area. Get swordleaf, punch tree, and check out system on the left.

Go back to groundskeeper and enter maint. dept. You should get the herbicide here. Go back to plant area and activate system on left.

Go deeper into park. Talk to Obie. 彼に与える 50 肉, ask him to leave the park AS A FAVOR to you.

2,4,5 Talk to groundskeeper. He should give you 300 Meat and 20 XP.

You can come back in the future to communicate with the cockroaches when you have 9 mysticality for an optional alt ending.

Open your character sheet, buy Bewitch.

Whenever you get 15 XP, を買う +1 to your base stats. その後, focus on buying the stats as you get the XP for it.

After spending the 135 XP on the 3 +1 統計, Bewitch, and Photosynthetic, save until 150 XP and buy

Gorgonzola’s Guile for +5 XP from fights.

Then spend the XP as you get it to get your other stats.

Wander around a bit to unlock the Boardwalk, マーヴィン, and St. Polycarps. The best place to wander to farm XP is to stand in front of the holy water at St. Polycarps. The holy water will clear the debuffs you get from surrendering. This is a tactic you should use from now on if you want to grind XP. Find a sink, その前に立つ, open map and wander. If you get a stat-related debuff, press escape, clear your debuff, and keep wandering. Don’t forget to go to Options and increase speed of dialogue and map to instant for faster grinding.

今, you want to start working on getting the 3 base stat perks.

BOARDWALK: Give the hobo Dusty some meat. 過ごす 150 meat with the fortune teller to get +1 Mysticality. Talk to Tony Fiasco and wear different hats to get some meat back.

MARVIN: Get sidequest, go to Hiram’s.

HIRAM’S: Gives some meat to hobo. Pry open door with crowbar. Check counter. Go to Snackle Mills.

SNACKLE MILLS: Get Snackle Mills from truck. Then go back to Marvin and get +1 Moxie.

ST. POLYCARP’S: Go into church. Talk to Vicar and get sidequest. Go into catacombs. Read Guestbook. Go to Durch’s House.

DURCH’S HOUSE: Read Rock. Go to Plunkett Street, back to Watchful Eye, and look for newspaper. Go back to Durch’s House, knock on door, and ask about Porquod. Exhaust dialogue options. Talk to 5th Urn. Leave cigarettes on tray. When opening bookcase, look at other books for a free book you can sell/collect. Talk to guy behind bookshelf. Go back to St. PolyCarps. Go to catacombs, get spare urn. Go back to Durch’s House, replace 5th urn, talk to guy behind bookshelf, go back to St. Polycarps. Talk to Vicar and get +1 強さ. You can go back to Durch’s House and pet Ishmael. Don’t replace Boon.

HOBO CAMP: One of the locations where you can get the effect +3 Cold Armor for the day. (Burning Barrel)

Go right to Cryptography Boxcar. Talk to guy. Interact with everything.

Interact with all hobos, get hobo code. Get Obie as a companion, replace Gabby, get Hobo Code from Obie. Obie’s Companion events in Ocean City give Meat. You should now have level 10 Hobo Literacy. Refer to other guides for more hobo-code related stuff. For the purposes of this guide, you only really need level 9.

MS. BREWSTER’S: Optional Side quest.

Once you have upgraded your stats a bit to your liking, go back to Fridge Factory. 理想的には, you would have 5 moxie to pay only 100 の代わりに 300. You can get one from the sunglasses from travelling salesman.

Go into the building and hide and watch the event. Talk to the guy with space for a head. Go to crane controls and use them until you can crush the guy with the red button. Collect your loot from the blood pool. 入手できます 300 meat by opening the pouch.

Go to Plunkett Street. Talk to bartender at speakeasy. Go to Murray’s, talk to Jessica, uncurse stuff if you want to and do some more side stuff if you want to.

ZIMMER’S HOUSE: Optional Side quest.

寝る. Pick a store. For pacifist run, the useful ones are Potion, Pants, 帽子, ハードウェア, ジュエリー, and Bread, 順不同. The potion one gives a +1 to all stats potion on the last day. Pet the cat. Talk to the bully to get Your Teeth. Get another book you can sell.

Ocean City Events That Matter

起きろ. Accept the Mob Guy’s Offer. Call the Mob Guy on the Phone.

Immediately start wandering around a bit until you get beat up by shadow monsters.
Talk to Jessica to get shadow-banishing ring and immediately equip it.Shadows Monsters is a relatively frequent event and it is better to turn them into free XP.

外に出て. Talk to Molly. Replace Obie. Molly’s companion events give you XP. You can replace her later once you think you don’t need more XP.

Take the bus to Crystal Dream Lake.

Go into the lighthouse.

Under the mirror is the most convenient sink to remove surrender debuffs.

Talk to lighthouse keeper to unlock Hardware Store.

Disable Pacifist Mode temporarily. Be very careful to avoid fights. Wander around until you find Beppo’s Hole. Go there and re-enable Pacifist mode immediately. (HOBO) Free doc on the right, get hobo code and send them to hobo camp.

Open map. Go to Distellery. Bewitch the vampire. ドアのロックを解除します. Get case of vodka. Translate Hobo Code. Get booze-soaked handkerchief. Equip it right away. Open Garlic Schnapps to the right. Collect all the stuff here . Go back to your room at Ocean city, get briefcase and open it for 300 肉. Go out and call the mob again.

Go to Hardware Store. 男と話してください. Propose a Shaking. Ask about the Glaxton Valve. Shake up the paint to the left. Go into the back. Go into the door to go into the past.

Talk to past hardware guy. Ask about the valves to unlock the Dam.

Ask about outhouse rentals. Rent the last one for 200 肉. Put it in the pet store or museum. You can return here in the past to change it any time.

PET STORE: Go into past. Talk to guy and get shovel for an optional side quest. Disarm the mouse trap on the left twice. Go back to present and into the pet store. You can pet Dottie. Do not replace your boon.

MUSEUM (HOBO): Optional Side quest that can’t be completed until Chapter 3. You can buy sandwich cream to feed and pet a cat here. Go back to the past here, vandalize the gazebo, go to the present, and you can ask for hobo code and get another hobo in the hobo camp.

CRYSTAL STORE: Optional Side Quest. Talk to unlock the Mine.

MINE: Optional sidequest. Greasing up the elevator gets you an employee of the month plaque.

Make sure you have at least 5 food you are willing to part with. It would be best to go to Ocean City Fridge Factory, ドアを通り抜ける, and cook 5 different foods because those foods are easily replaceable.

Go to the CrystalDream Lake Dam. Go all the way to the right and into the past. Go right and talk to guy. 彼に与える 5 食べ物, preferably the ones you cooked. Get Glaxton valve from crate.

Go back to present, then to Lighthouse. Install Glaxton Valve in front. 上の階に行ってください, get geiger counter and go to Junkyard (HOBO).

Go left and get hobo code from hobo, then help him out. (5 筋).

Go into junkyard. Go straight up. Go to the right and into the tunnel (5 Moxie).

下に行く. Get mounted cow skull and dig up old compass. You can go up and kick the crates if you want, then go back to lighthouse and get the compass from the lighthouse keeper.

Go back to Ocean city Murray’s and talk to Jessica. Talk to Charles to unlock shortcut to bar. Uncurse the compass if you want.

寝る. Look at the skulls and get “no tongue”. Experience the event, then pet the cat.

CrystalDream Lake events that matter

Go to the Bar and drink to get a stat boost.

Go to S.I.T.

Go to main lobby.

Admissions.

Pick your courses. One of them should be meta-acoustics or chemistry.

I highly recommend doing Culinary Science, 占星術, Chemistry.

Go to Gift shop to the right. There is an orb here. You can go back to Jessica at Murray’s to get pliers. あなたが望むなら, you can close these orbs when you see them to get 10 xp or collect the shadow items for taint later on.

Buy a Coffee Mug, (a pennant, and pants for each stat if you want.)

The sink here is in the infinite hallway to the right.

Go back to Ocean City. Call mob.

You want to do 3 mob quests, 1 Rufus Quest, and all of your classes here. When you finish a mob quest, call the mob for the next quest. This should be some easy meat.

Soda Machine: Adjust the price with 6 moxie for 30 肉. This has 5 sodas (ポーション) that give 5 of the respective elemental armor. Very important if you need elemental armor.

Locked door for Mob Quest: 15 Mysticality OR go to Ocean City Fridge factory. Get Ice cube from refrigerator on far right of factory, get the vicar to bless the ice cube at St. Polycarps, then put it in the boiler.

Pirate Restaurant. Get your pirate restaurant badge. Has a manhole. Can pet cat for 5 stench armor. Spend about 130 meat to get fish eggs.

Spider Wing Maint. (1 ヒューズ) Doesn’t really matter.

Manhole for rufus quest: 5 hot armor OR equip fishing rod for fish eggs.

Rufus Lab:

Get side quest from Rufus. 2 eggs are in steam tunnel as described above. The 3rd egg is in Ocean City St. Polycarp’s catacombs. Watch for a bit, then bet. Eventually you will win. The other manholes are non-pacifist.

Go back to Ocean City Hobo Camp.

Talk to Hobo King for side quest.

Give Ovid summons.

Fission Chips (HOBO):

Tear off head of Diving Helmet (9 muscle)

Give Hobo S.I.T Mug, then get Hobo code.

Optional Barbeque sauce side quest.

5 Sleaze Armor to get +1 Moxie Hat, 2 Sleaze Armor Hat.

Greasy Steve for Mob Quests.

• Hilbert House:

There is a good chance there is a Radio that needs a fuse that can be changed in one of the B/C rooms. This is for a later Rufus Quest.

橋 (HOBO):

As part of Rufus Quest, you get access to bottom part.

Hobo Code. 左に進みます, ask hobo about hobo code, 釣り, then send him to hobo camp.

Talk to Fishmother. Ask politely for pearl. Talk about the kids and get them off the street if you want. (Bewitch, 6 Mysticality)

Wash off the goo.

Once all the Mob Quests, Rufus Fish Egg Quest, and Classes are all done, 図書館に行く.

Enter the Stacks.

男と話してください. (Bewitch + 6 Mysticality) (Check out Wormwood Ending if you want, no achievement though)

Get evil book from book row closest,

Go back and talk to Jessica. Uncurse the book if you want.

Of the three statues, choose the statue of the stat you don’t want. I recommend the one that isn’t your main stat, but it doesn’t matter too much.

右にずっと進みます. PET THE CAT.

S.I.T Events that matter

起きろ. Go to the bar and drink some absinthe for the +1 に 2 統計.

Explore Big Moist. You will be forced to take a -1 to all stats. This debuff will last until Chapter 6.

Go back to Ocean City. Call Rufus and the Mob.

Go to Rufus Lab, get quest.

Go to Big Moist Mob submarine. (7 Mysticality) 19 PSI. If you took Chemistry, you can use the Barnacle Dissolve (1,4,4,4) here to get +7 to all elemental armor accessory. Even if you didn’t, wear the diving helmet to go down and get a pile of silver bars that sells for 1000 肉.

Go to Radio Shack.

There may be a Charles Wrench Campfire here. Open bricks. (7 筋). 中に入ってください, and remove tape from bricks. Confront vampires, tell them about flowing water. Equip Rufus gadget to the radios. Go right and pick up lightning ball.

Go back to Ocean City Murray’s. PIck up phone. Go into room. Get briefcase of meat from bedstand. While you are here, go to the shelf and observe the orb, これは与えます +1 to your main stat. You can also refresh your +3 stench armor from the recliner.

Now Start Wandering Big Moist until all relevant locations are found. Make sure you check the events for this one, this is where all of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ events are.

SUNKEN BOXCAR (HOBO)

Dauphin: Gives location to Dauphin House for sidequest.

Investigate Tree to left of house.
Go right to Kitchen, Open everything
Exit and go all the way left to bathroom.
トイレ, drop ice block into bath, open Medicine Cabinet
Exit and open padlocked door in middle.
上の階に行ってください, enter right door. Get key from pillow and wire hanger from wardrobe.
Exit and go left and open leftmost padlocked door. Search Left Nightstand.
Exit and open middle padlocked door. Get radio in middle. 出口.
Upstairs Corridor, press space. Check rightmost planter.
Go back to leftmost room, press space.
Exit and go downstairs. Check leftmost painting.
外に出て. Jimmy the car with the wire hanger.
Enter the garage. Press Space.
Check under the bench. Unlock the toolchest.
Enter house and open padlock on the China shelf.
Go back to second floor. Enter rightmost door. Open padlock.
Exit and go to leftmost door on second floor. Open padlock.

Letting the children flee gives you access to petting both cats.

Forcing them to stay gives you access to one cat, but allows you to do the Prince of Tides achievement guide. Follow that guide carefully if you need this achievement.

Unlocks Gatorman Hamlet and allows finding Plume of Smoke location. (Use the Treehouse once you have accepted sidequest or wander around)

MONSTER SHACK (HOBO)

Completing all sidequests here gives you an accessory that gives +1 to all stats and a cat to pet once you equip the completed accessory.

This is partially optional, but the stats are very nice and the mossrock is important for +1 ホーボー.

Mossrock Gotto needs 6 mysticality or be a cryptobotanist.

Chupanaranja Trap making at bottom right needs 6 muscle, 6 mysticality, 7 moxie, battery and fuse.

Honey Ape requires 6 in every stat while wandering.

Smell-O-Wisp requires 7 stench armor while wandering.

Barbara Yagara requires 6 Sleaze, 6 悪臭, それから 5 不気味な. Once you clean the birdbath, this is the most convenient sink. しかし, Big Moist farming is super annoying. You can also get a small birdbath from the left when you are done.

Flyman quest is straightforward. There are combinations which make him happy.

You should be able to get Rufus Radio quest complete, if not complete it next chapter.

Examine Dinner Triangle.

Go to kitchen and prepare a feast: 6 筋.

Talk to Charles.

Go into center room and grab chain.

Exit center room and enter rightmost room.

Attach chain near hole and follow Gator King.

右に進みます, activate pedestal and enter door.

Optional battle item related perk for 6 Mysticality.

左に進みます, activate pedestal and enter door.

Avoid the beams: 7 Moxie.

Disable device if you want.

Search puddle for cursed key.

Free Charles.

You can keep the key cursed. It opens locks with no apparent negative effect and will allow you to skip some steps to get certain keys if you want.

Go back and go to sleep.

Go through dream sequence. You cannot pet the cat.

Big Moist Events that matter

Consider the orb on the shelf for the +1 ステータス.

Call the mob and rufus.

Go back to your room and get uncooked Mob books, unforged mob documents, and undoctored mob evidence. from the nightstand.

You can cook the books right away if you have the hot plate from Rufus lab. さもないと, any cooking station would work.

Go to speakeasy and get a +1 に 2 stats drink.

それから, go to Gray County.

Get the sidequest from all 3 people here.

Go to Rufus Lab and start sidequest, unlocking Puckwudgie Village.

While you are here, go to P Frat and pet Sprig for +1 筋.

Go to Puckwudgie Village.

Get the ladder (7 筋)

Go back to Rufus and get sidequest unlocking Burbling Ooze.

Go back to Gray County and go to Burbling Ooze. Get Ooze (6 Hot and Sleaze Armor)

Go back to Rufus and get sidequest unlocking H***Hole.

Go to H***Hole and throw in the ooze (7 Stench armor). Also throw in Haunted Duck Call and His Majesty’s Least Favorite Poems (Cold Armor)

Go back to Rufus and complete side quest. (RUFUS COMPLETE)

GILMORE HOUSE:

Get the spooky armor book from the table when you enter.

Go around checking every doll part box until you get the counterclockwise mainspring.

There are other optional side stuff here to check out if you want.

MACMILLICANCUDDY’S FARM. (HOBO)

必要 8 physical armor and 7 of each elemental armor, not necessarily at the same time. 最も簡単な方法, しかし, is to use blow the cursed haunted duck call you got from H***Hole for whatever you don’t have stats for.

Talk to hobo disguised as sheep, get hobo code and send her to hobo camp.

Forge the Mob Documents on the AnvilTalk to farmer and get paperweight.

DREXEL STEAD (HOBO)

I recommend completing this fully for the achievement, 猫, and paying less meat for the glass of milk. しかし, the only things that are completely required are the glass of milk and the hobo, which requires Bewitch and 7 Mysticality.

PAPUSASCU HOMESTEAD/BLACK GOLD MINE (HOBO)

Go all the way to the left and into the trailer.

Read everything on the desk, open the locker and get the engagement ring.

Open inventory and read engagement ring inscription.

Exit and go all the way to the left and enter the basement.

Get some free meat from the minecart.

Exhaust dialogue options. Talking about what they were doing and bringing up Henry will make them leave.

Go to the right, talk to hobo and get hobo code and send them to the camp.

Go back to your room, get briefcase of meat, pick up final mob quest from phone.

Go to Hobo camp and talk to the Hobo King. (HOBO CAMP COMPLETE, there is one hobo that you can only get when non-pacifist in gatorman hamlet)

Go to boardwalk. Enter building.

Examine everything, talk to bartender, go into bathroom.

There is a sink here where you can get +3 to any elemental armor. It doesn’t really matter which one, but stench is still best.

Go out, talk to count at left, go right to boarded up window. Open it (9 筋).

Go left back to where the count was and get the fang.

出口. Get Mob ring. (MOB QUEST COMPLETE).

Go back to Gray County. Give items for all 3 sidequests.

Go inside and get the next 3 sidequests.

MOLEROSS HOUSE

Follow the Moleross house specific guide.

GRODE VALLEY ORCHARD

Optional Sidequest: You can get fertilizer underground at the bottom right and not complete sidequest for the cat.

If you do want to complete it pacifist, you must use the secretions on at least the 2nd and 4th group of worms.

Examine right tunnel for secretions, then enter middle tunnel.

Use secretions or use tunnel (7 moxie) to bypass 1st group, 右に行きます, examine eggs, use secretions on 2nd group, 右に行きます.

Enter tunnel, grab secretions (7 stench armor), go right and exit tunnel.

Use secretions on 4th group and enter tunnel.
