Before I start, I’ll explain what this Guide will be covering. This will only look at the base game, some basic mechanics, a guide to the characters, and relevant information. また, I would greatly appreciate it if you could take the time to look at my reviews! I’m an aspiring game reviewer, and checking out the reviews and giving them a like would be greatly appreciated, 乾杯!
Lets start with some basics
As most of you may know, the game revolves around progressing through many stages, with ramping difficulty and tough-as-nails enemies. To progress, you will need skill and help from your items. Items are passive or active bonuses that are given to the player after opening chests or completing challenges. They are divided into different tiers.
- Grey Items: Grey Items are the most common items you will probably have, most of the bonuses are minimal, but with enough of them you can create some game-changing damage or bonuses.
- Green Items: Green Items are similar to Grey Items, but they are generally rarer than Grey Items. Most of the time you do not have nearly enough items to create some powerful combos.
- Red Items: Red Items are crazy items that can create a real impact on the run. Every playthrough you will only have 1 or more Red Items, but even a low quantity can make a real difference.
- Boss Items: 名前が示すように, the Boss Items can randomly be given to you after killing a boss. いつもの, they are not nearly good enough as Red Items, but they provide such unique bonuses that can synergize with other items making them a worthwhile addition to your arsenal.
- Lunar Items: Lunar Items are tricky to get, as they require a currency called Lunar Coins to obtain, which can be dropped by completing challenges or randomly by enemies. These items are special because they provide both a positive and a ネガティブ ボーナス. Like Boss Items, these are unique enough to consider taking, even if they have their downsides.
As previously stated, you will need to rely on your skills and your items to progress. If you are playing with no artifacts (which are special modifiers that can affect your run) it will be very hard to get Items of any rarity to synergize well with each other, so it’s up to you to decide which ones to keep or which ones to scrap for other items. One general piece of knowledge you should know is
Procing, which is when a passive bonus applies on a hit, on death or in any circumstance. This is generally how most items will interact with the enemies. It’s important to know that you will always need to manage three basic factors. あなたの 攻撃 is always important, if you don’t have enough to melt through enemies, then later in the game you will struggle even more, so you always need to keep your overall damage in check, this includes individual damage and AOE’s. Another factor that is always worth considering is スピード. Enemies also become faster, and if you’re not able to dodge them, then you’ll meet your end soon. The final factor is 健康, as you’ll need enough so that the slightest attack will not instantly kill you. You will always have to have these factors in check, without a balance between the three your run will end swiftly.
Now let’s get into some characters:
コマンド
Commando works as a jack of all trades. He generally excels in almost every situation. He is very well-rounded and easily understood, meaning anyone can pick him up and excel. He has no particular weaknesses or strengths and his base stats are generally fine. しかし, Commando has a great rate of fire, which allows him to item-stack many Items quickly. His primary, ダブルタップ, is his main weapon is his main go, as you will often rely on it to take on tanker foes. His first secondary, Phase Round fires 1 piercing bullet that deals heavy damage and can pierce, while his second secondary, Phase Blast fires two close-range bullets that deal more damage. Both his utility, Tactical Dive and Tactical Slide give him a small time where he can move fast and avoid taking damage. ついに, his special, Suppressive Fire fires a stunning shot, which is affected by his attack speed. Frag Granade, his secondary utility, is just what it sounds like, he fires a grenade that deals a lot of AOE damage.
While playing Commando, you should watch out for these Items:
- Soldier’s Syringe increases his default attack speed, meaning you will be able to proc more items on hit in less time.
- Ukelele will give Commando a much-needed AOE attack. and his high attack speed will make it easier for Proc.
- Wax Quail will make Commando even faster and harder to hit.
- AtG Missles are usually hard to hit, as they only have a 10% chance of triggering, but since you fire so fast you can trigger them often.
ハントレス
Huntress rewards skilled players with homing attacks, 高いダメージ, and great mobility, at the cost of being the most fragile survivor. The name of the game with Huntress is to hit and run, as the slightest damage may hit you like a truck. Her high damage output makes her something viable to anyone, but truly skilled players will be able to progress through the game utilizing everything she’s got. Something unique to Huntress and another Survivor is her ability to fire while sprinting, allowing her to always be on the move. Her first primary, Strafe is a tracking shot that fires relatively fast, while her secondary, 飛び回る, 火災 3 tracking arrows. Her only secondary, Laser Glaive, fires a bouncing boomerang that works well as an AOE. まばたき, one of her utilities, teleports her a medium distance, while her other utility, Phase Blink teleports her a short distance but can store up to 3 料金. For her specials, Arrow Rain works well as another source of AOE damage, while Ballista does heavy damage for a single character.
While playing Huntress, you should watch out for these Items:
- Backup Magazine gives her an extra charge to her secondary, meaning more AOE.
- Rose Buckler makes her take less damage when sprinting, and as Huntress, you should NOT be sprinting.
- Lens-Maker’s Glasses give her a chance to critically strike, meaning double damage, and this can help with her lack of BIG damage.

He is unlocked by completing three stages without dying. He has a passive, where if he lands a hit on enemies back it instantly becomes a critical strike. He also has two primaries, one is Burst which fires a close-range burst that deals good damage, while a Blast is a rifle blast that has long range. For his secondaries, he has Serrated Dagger, which is a close strike melee attack, and his other is Serrated Shiv, where he fires daggers that can cause a bleed. As for his utility, the only one here is Smoke Bomb, which does what the name implies by cloaking Bandit for a small time. He also possesses two specials, the first being Lights Out, where he fires a single shot that resets all cooldowns if it kills, while Desperado increases the damage of the weapon by 10% if it kills.
While playing Bandit, you should watch out for these Items:

- Harvester’s Scythe heals any time he lands a critical strike, meaning this should be your main source of healing.
- Crowbar will make him deal more damage on the first hit, meaning more damage in general.
Mul-T
MUL-T is a TANK. He has the highest base health and can pack quite a punch with his abilities. 結果として, he is very slow and below average mobility. He is unlocked by beating the first stage of the game 5 回. MUL-T is interesting because he has 4 different primaries and he can choose 2 to use. The first is the Auto-Nailgun which allows him to rapid-fire nails, the second is Rebar Puncher which is a single piercing shot that deals heavy damage, thirdly is Scrap Launcher which fires a rocket that explodes on impact, lastly is Power-Saw, a melee attack that hits close enemies. He is special because more than anyone he relies on his Special more than anyone, those being turrets that are as powerful, if not more than his other skills. He is unlocked by completing 30 ステージ. His primary is Bouncing Grenades, which need to charge up and can fire up to 8 手榴弾. His secondaries are Pressure Mines which deal a lot of damage when stepped on, and Spider Mines which track the enemy but deal less damage. 工匠
Artificer has a range of skills that gives her one of the most diverse and unique movesets. She can break through the toughest of enemies with her high power moves. しかし, her power comes at the cost of survivability, as she has no defensive or movement skills, meaing you’ll have to be good at dodging. She is annoying to unlock, as you’ll need to spend 10 Lunar Coins at a place called the Bazar to set her free. This place can be acessesd through blue portals. Her passive allows her to glide and hover in the air, negating fall damage. Her first primary, Flame Bolt fires a ball of fire that can ignite enemies, while her other secondary, Plasma Bolt, fires a bolt that can hit nearby enemies. While playing Artificer, you should watch out for these Items:
- Backup Magazine allows her to hold more of her secondary, which is a great AOE attack that is a great tank killer.
- Soldier’s Syringe is weird with Artificer, because this will actually increase the speed in which her attacks charge alongside increasing the speed in which she fires it.

傭兵
Mercenary is one of the most manurable and mobile Survivors in the entire game. He can attack swiftly and devastate enemies with a few hits from his sword. He also uses his invisibility to gain an advantage on his enemies, as his skills have an overall low cooldown level. Mercenary is a melee-only survivor, which makes him hard to play. Unlocking him is quite a challenge, as you need to achieve one of the game’s endings “Obliteration” どんな難しさでも. His passive, Cybernetic Enhancements give him a second jump. His primary, Laser Sword slices enemies in front of him, and the third strike Exposes enemies, dealing bonus damage. The secondary, Whirlwind quickly slices horizontally twice, while Rising Thunder unleashes a slicing uppercut, dealing a lot of damage in a short area. - Ukulele is a must since he lacks any AOE
レックス
REX is a robot and a plant that uses HP to cast devastating skills from a distance. REX has one of the most powerful attacks, but since he is always using up HP, he needs a great deal amount of health to cover for the damage taken. To unlock REX, you need to take the Fuel Array from your drop pod through multiple stages, until you reach the Abyssal Depths. しかし, if you ever fall behind 50% HP, you will instantly die, so he is a real tough one to unlock. His passive, Natural Toxins allow him to weaken enemies on hits, which decreases movement speed, 健康, and damage. His primary is DIRECTIVE: Inject which fires 3 syringes that heal him for 60% of the damage dealt. His first secondary, DIRECTIVE: Drill launches seed bullets into the sky, while Seed Barrage has a much lower cooldown and does the same, but it consumes 15% of his HP. ローダ
Loader is one of the most fun Survivors you can play in the game. Her mobility is unmatched thanks to her grapplehook and her velocity. When she is not flying through the air, she is super slow and she is exclusively a melee character. To unlock her, you’ll need to beat a special boss on a stage called Siren’s Call. Her passive is Scrap Barrier which makes her immune to fall damage, and every time she hits something with her fists she gets a temporary barrier. The Loader’s primary, Knuckleboom, is a default melee attack. 彼女の二次のために, Grapple Fist acts as her default grappling hook which allows you to grapple to enemies, while Spiked Fist does the same but pulls enemies towards you and it stuns. - Paul’s Goat Hoof is a necessity, increasing total movement speed? Sign me up.
- Will-o-the-wisp can help with AOE, which Loader lacks. By killing enemies fast, the Will-o-the-wisp should trigger very often.
- Focus Crystal works perfectly with Loader, as she has no ranged abilities and most attacks are melee, causing her to deal extra damage.
アクリド
Acrid is a melee/ranged hybrid who relies on poison to melt tanks. He has great crowd control options that allow him to instantly change his playstyle on the fly. He also has the highest damage stat of any Survivor, which makes him a force to be reckoned with. He is unlocked by beating the Void Fields, which can be accessed by going under the Bazar. Acrid is interesting because he has the choice of two passives. The first is Poison, which applies powerful damage-over-time, but will always leave enemies at 1 HP, while Blight makes it so that attacks that apply poison apply stacking blight instead, 取引する 60% 1秒あたりのダメージ. His primary, Vicious Wounds is his default melee attack, but the 3rd hit heals him. One of his secondaries, Neurotoxin, spits a melee toxic bullet that poisons, while Ravenous Bite bites an enemy for big damage. For his Utility, Caustic Leap makes him leap in the air and poisons anyone nearby, while Frenzied Leap does the same but does not poison, instead reduces the cooldown of your skills for every enemy hit. ついに, his special, Epidemic, makes Acrid fire a projectile that can target other enemies.
While playing Acrid, you should watch out for these Items:
- 死の刻印, as Acrid specializes in dealing debuffs, which makes the Death Mark deal extra damage.
- Gasoline makes Acrid cover more debuffs and cover AOE’s that Acrid lacks.
- Focus Crystal makes melee survivors deal extra damage, so it’s a must for Acrid.
The Captain’s strength comes from his ability to rain down fire on anyone with his skills. He has both ranged and close-up damage, which makes him exceptional in any environment. For his passive, Defensive Microbots makes Captain able to gain Microbots that shoot down nearby enemy projectiles. His primary, Vulcan Shotgun, fires a blast of pellets that deal a lot of damage, and charging the attack narrows the spread. His secondary, Power Tazer, stuns enemies and deals a little damage. His utility is very powerful, as the Orbital Probe allows him to request up to 3 Orbital Probes that deal a ton of damage, while the OGM-72 ‘DIABLO’ Strike allows the Captain to call a single strike that deals A HUGE AMOUNT OF DAMAGE AND IM NOT EXAGGERATING. For his special, he can call a variety of supply beacons; these include the Healing Beacon which heals anything within a radius, the Shocking Beacon which shocks all nearby enemies, the Resupply Beacon which recharges all equipment on use, and the Hacking Beacon allows him to freely open any chest.
