This is like a list that talks about how rare and special some skins are in ハント: 対決. It’s not super exact, but it gives a good idea of how hard they are to find. The guide doesn’t really tell you how to get these special characters now, but it might mention some hints or a little bit of info.
Just so you know, I didn’t get this done right away, and it’s more of a fun guide than a really serious one. また, it doesn’t have info about anything from the Tides of Desolation event.
トップ 5 Rarest Skins
Let’s talk about the super rare hunters in Hunt: 対決. If you’ve played for a while, you might know them, but let’s have some fun with it.
#1 ペストドクター
わかった, so technically, this might not be true by the numbers. Plague Doctor could be the second rarest, but I’m putting him at #1 because he was released during the “As the crow flies” event for Scrapbeak. This event was special and not tied to the usual themes, making Plague Doc likely exclusive to those who played during that time. The rarity also comes from the increase in Hunt’s player base and some older players leaving. Even though some players show off this hunter, they’re still a small group, proud owners of one of Hunt’s only “exclusive skins.”
#2 Bad Hand
This is the Legendary White-Shirt guy. Bad Hand should technically be #1 by the numbers, but he’s here because he has less than a 1% chance of dropping from Dark Tribute rolls. He’s still obtainable, けれど, which means over time, more players will get him, lowering his rarity. He won’t be common, but the fact that he can still be grabbed puts him at #2.
#3 Light The Shadow Trio (旅人)
This trio, especially the Wayfarer, should technically be higher in rarity. Wayfarer was part of an event, but you needed 1000 Blood Bonds to unlock him, different from event progression. This event didn’t have as many players sticking around as the modern ones, so a lot of players probably missed these hunters. The Bayou Wraith, released as a DLC, and the other native hunters are rare, but only these three were time-limited in the first version of Hunt’s new event format.
#4 Billy Story
Billy Story was the original Twitch Drop hunter in the bayou. During Hunt’s initial attempt at using Twitch Drops, Billy was one of the rewards available in the drop campaign that lasted a week early in the game’s life. The catch was that the drops were random, and you’d receive one approximately every 4-6 hours of watching streams with enabled drops. しかし, the contents of these drops varied widely, ranging from in-game items to Hunt dollars and even legendary skins, including the sought-after Con man turned big game hunter, Billy himself.
In the first Twitch Drops event, only a fortunate few players managed to receive Billy, making him even rarer than the Plague Doctor (Ban Hand wasn’t available at that time). This scarcity persisted for the next couple of years until the introduction of quest lines. Billy made a comeback on Twitch, this time with both Twitch and Hunt acknowledging that random drops were not well-received by the community. Instead of relying on luck, players could now earn a quest line after a set amount of stream watching. This quest line involved playing with Hunt’s new Stalker Beetle, and upon completion, players could obtain all the drops from the initial wave, including Billy Story. Although his rarity decreased with this quest line, the opportunity to acquire Billy has since expired, and he has returned to an unobtainable status, at least for the time being.
#5 The Viper: ステージ 4 狂乱
One of my best-loved ideas for a hunter is The Viper, which took center stage in the Serpent’s Moon pass. This pass introduced four different versions of The Viper as he got more infected. The Serpent’s Moon event, part of the moon trilogy, had some features that divided players in terms of enjoyment. The addition of a new nighttime setting in the weather rotation and the risk of losing points if your hunter was killed before banishment frustrated many players, leading some to quit before reaching The Viper’s 4th and final phase. Only the first phase was available in the free pass, while the rest required the premium version, costing around $15-$20 depending on the region. Following this event, the mechanic of stealing event points from downed hunters hasn’t returned, likely due to the feedback received. しかし, for those who persevered, バイパー: Frenzy served as a rewarding prize and an excellent 5th spot hunter.
Special Mention Skins
This section focuses on hunters with a semi-rare status that didn’t make the top 5 リスト.
Skinflint: First released in December 2020 for the Blood & Ice event, Skinflint has returned during subsequent Christmas seasons, usually priced at 1000 Blood Bonds or as part of a bundle.
The Headsman: A well-camouflaged hunter, The Headsman made an appearance from October 29, 2021, to November 9th during The Harvest Halloween event. This limited-time event allowed players to acquire The Headsman, and he has since become available on three occasions, likely to be repeated annually alongside other All Hallows hunters.
悪魔の擁護者: Introduced in December 2021 during the Winter Solstice event, 悪魔の擁護者 (DA) became a sought-after hunter after being showcased in the teaser trailer. A challenging grind, similar to the one for Plague Doctor, left many players without DA when the event ended in early January 2022. しかし, the following December saw both Skinflint and DA returning to the shops, causing some excitement. Despite the initial scarcity, DA has become a staple character in event trailers and is among the more popular hunters in the bayou.
Twitch Drop & Quest line Hunters: While not extremely rare, these hunters required players to watch partnered streamers with a linked Twitch account or complete limited-time quest lines to earn them. いくつかの, like Lulu, have appeared in multiple events, while others were one-time occurrences. Another hunter is set to join them on October 25, 2023, during the Umpire’s Bane event, with drops on Hunt partnered channels. These campaigns also feature weapons, ギヤ, and charms for players to collect and use in their bayou adventures.
Weapon/Equipment Skins
わかった, so let’s make this shorter. Some of the old rare skins are back in holiday bundles, and others are from events mentioned in the hunter section. I’ll just list the uniquely rare ones without any specific order since it’s tough to know how many players have them.
Last resort
The Last Resort is a special gun called a Lemat pistol that you get after finishing all the trials with 3 星. Many hunters try these trials to get rewards like Bloodbonds, but not everyone gets a perfect score. そうすれば, you get a cool Lemat pistol with 96 星.
The Benefactor
The Benefactor is a special kind of gun called a chain pistol. You get it if you played the game before the big 1.0 update for Hunt. Even though it looks simple and is gold, not many hunters can use it. It’s like a cool token for players who have been around for a long time and shows they remember when Hunt was different and how much it has improved.
The Centenary
The Centenary is a special Mosin rifle that you get when you reach prestige 100. This means you’ve spent a lot of time and improved your skills a lot. The skin for the rifle might not be the fanciest, but it’s kind of famous among players who haven’t reached prestige 100 まだ. Prestige rewards are like prizes for reaching different levels, and getting to prestige 100 is a big achievement.
Similar to hunters, there are special skins you can get from Twitch drops and events, and they are a bit rare. It’s hard to know exactly how many players have these skins. They are limited edition, especially the older ones from events that happened a while ago. But we can only guess how many players have them.
ノート
最後に, this is mostly just one person’s opinion about how rare certain game skins are. The idea is a bit silly, but it might help new players understand which skins are not seen as often. If there’s anything I missed or if you think I put something in the wrong place, お気軽にお知らせください. It’s all just for fun and to share thoughts about the rarity of skins in the game.
