Presenting one easy way to get the stealth achievement, with explanations of why the tips work.

Presenting one of the easiest strategies to achieve the Solid Stealth Execution achievement.
This is by no means the only way to achieve this achievement, but it is certainly one of the easiest.
I list the tips and explain why they work.
Bring only two HellDivers with stealthy attitudes
I’ve seen and been part of several teams that struggled to get this achievement.
Bring only two HellDivers max. その理由は次のとおりです:
One HellDiver struggles to cover the entire screen. It happens often enough, even with distractor beacons, that one HellDiver will encounter two squads of scouts coming from two different directions. While aiming at and killing one squad, the other squad triggers the alarm.
Two HellDivers is just enough to cover the entire screen, with each player covering half the screen and also covering for each other’s misses.
Three or four HellDivers introduce a new problem: each extra player increases the chance that someone will screw up and be seen. This is especially true if one of the players is not careful enough.
To make sure you only bring two HellDivers, invite just one friend and put the game on Private to keep anyone else from joining.
What’s a stealthy attitude?
What exactly is a stealthy attitude?
I’m not talking about using distractor beacons and Thunderer smoke rounds and sneaking around but about how you game the game’s AI.
1) You must kill all scouts first and foremost. Anything that can raise an alarm must be killed immediately, even before the more dangerous enemies.
2) Spray and pray offscreen as much as possible, especially if you hear approaching enemies or see approaching enemies on the radar. You always want to kill scouts long before they can see you. Note that this tip requires long-range weapons.
3) Stay close together in the center of the screen at all times. This makes it so that you have a better chance of seeing scouts on your screen before they see you and raise the alarm. One of the easiest ways to trigger an alarm is for one player to go to the edge of the map and be seen by a scout far offscreen. You can mitigate this a bit by spraying and praying offscreen while you’re at the edge of the screen, hoping to kill any scouts you can’t see, but it’s just smarter to stay near the center of the screen.
明らかに, you need players who are really good at avoiding friendly fire when staying so close to each other.
It helps to have players who are aware enough of their actions to keep the camera centered in the screen. Many times, a squad’s attention will all be directed in one direction, shifting the camera far in that direction, and a scout will walk right up behind them and trigger the alarm. Manage your squad’s camera if you can.
4) Keep moving smoothly while sticking together. Never stay too long in one place. This includes running away from enemies (after killing all the scouts, もちろん). ヒント 3) と 4) combined mean that no team member should run far ahead of the other.
5) Avoid using strategems as the laser beacon they shine draws attention from scouts.
Pick the right planet and a mission with easy objectives
You can greatly improve your chances of getting this achievement by the planet and mission you pick.
1) Pick exactly a level 7 ミッション. It’s the minimum required for the achievement. No need to pick a mission with more enemy spawns or more difficult enemies.
2) Pick a bug planet. Why bugs? Their scouts aren’t invisible like the Illuminates and aren’t as hard to kill as the Cyborg scouts.
3) Pick a forest planet with lots of things to hide behind. Avoid open terrain planets like snow and deserts where you’re easy for the scouts to see from very far away. Forest/jungle planets have plenty of “tree clumps” to hide behind. The ones with skinny corridors are even easier because it means that it’s harder for scouts to be offscreen where you can’t see them.
4) Try for medium visibility. You don’t want it so dark that your flashlights are turned on but you don’t want it so bright that you’re visible from far away. The worst is early-morning sunrise where there are very long shadows. The best is mid-day rain/fog.
5) Pick a mission with objectives where you don’t have to stand around for long periods. 例えば, I have had the best luck with missions where there are mostly bug nests. Bring a bunch of Shredders, drop one and run to the next bug nest. Disarming ordnance is the worst for two reasons: ある) the minesweeper’s laser beacon stays lit for a very long time, attracting attention, そしてb) the act of disarming the ordnance effectively prevents one of the players from aggressively killing scouts.
Bring the right toys
Earlier I mentioned that you should avoid using strategems because the laser beacons attract attention from scouts.
また, you need to be able to shoot far off-screen.
And you also need to be able to kill scouts immediately on sight, without being caught having to reload in the middle while a scout raises the alarm in your face.
The combination of these three tips favors the Sickle laser carbine. If you know how to manage the trigger on the Sickle so that it doesn’t overheat, you can avoid getting caught having to do a reload while attacking some scouts and also avoid ever having to call down an ammo drop. And the Sickle can easily shoot far off screen.
You don’t have to use the Sickle; any long-range weapon that can shoot all the way across the screen can do the job. Most of the assault rifles and machine guns work fine. Just manage your ammo and cover for each other during reloads.
For your other toys, it’s smart to bring multi-terrain boots for the swamps in the bug forests, but the boots are not required. Let your long-range weapon do the work for you–kill the scouts far away so that even if you are stuck in the muck, you don’t care.
For the strategems, you could bring distractor beacons and Thunderer smoke rounds, but I’ve gotten by without these just fine just by killing every scout as soon as possible, even offscreen.
You could also bring the Humblebee for the long-range radar, but that too isn’t that important if you just kill every scout ASAP.
In the smoothest stealth runs, it was just me and my buddy using our Sickles, and we never needed to drop a strategem except the Shredder for bug nests. Minimizing strategem use to avoid attracting attention is best.
A few extra tips
A few extra tips:
1) The hardest part is and always will be the extraction. You absolutely have to make sure that the screen is clear of enemies for nearly the whole time by killing scouts as soon and as fast as you can.
In one stealth run, we got to the very end only to have a bug scout raise the alarm as the shuttle was taking off with all the HellDivers on board, so it is very important to keep the screen clear all the way till the end of the mission screen.
この目的を達成するために, you could use such things as Tesla towers, 鉱山, minigun turrets, and distractor beacons placed just offscreen, but we didn’t need these for the stealth achievement either because we were all so focused on killing scouts ASAP.
2) Use your ears. I used to have a really good stereo system attached to my gaming PC. It made it very easy to determine the direction that enemies were coming from when they were offscreen. Spray and pray in that direction and you will probably kill the scouts before they even show up onscreen. Gaming headphones work great too.
3) If the team all has voice chat capability, you can coordinate and cover for each other better by talking with each other (turn Push-to-Talk off). The downside is that if you are too loud or someone’s mic is really noisy, it makes it hard to hear the approaching enemies. I would not use Push-to-Talk because it can be a distraction from aggressively killing scouts.
それでおしまい–幸運を, and with these tips, you’ll get that stealth achievement easily!
