How to beat the different stages of the game and most bosses. Mostly pictures with a little bit of strategy.
免責事項
The only reason i am writing this guide is that i could not find many and most of what i have found was really bad or basic. The builds i show here worked for me, but i played the game mostly in 2 ステージ, which is why i have not saved most of my early stuff.
I don’t know how i have beaten the first and second boss exactly, but it was easy enough that i totally forgot. 最初 (そして二番目) deck should cover that.
Some decks miss one or two cards, if i forgot to mention what you could add, use your brain please. This is a game after all.
If you miss some cards you have to substitute them until you find them, or dont have enough mana you simply have to grind more, especially at the early stages of the game.
At the very beginning you just have to use what you get.
I always tried to win every battle at the first round or decimate the strongest enemys.
If you cannot beat specific enemys feel free to ask, but provide pictures of the enemys and tell me what you have available. Use google before asking tho.
Magic the Gathering Lingo, basics of deckbuilding, best cards
Might update based on comments, i try to use my best.
Lingo
- sac – 犠牲
- mulligan – A mulligan is a second chance to perform an action, usually after the first chance went wrong through bad luck or a blunder (Wikipedia). You can put each of the four cards back into your deck at the beginning of combat. You might redraw them tho.
- filtering – use a card to draw one or more cards
例:- Magical Preparation
- シャード (second and third tier)
- Soul Sacrifice, Spirit Burn, Blood Oath (階層 3/2/1 of the same card)
- Wisdom of the Elders, Laws of Nature, Book of the Apprentice (階層 3/2/1 of the same card. technically does not filter, still a good card, will be called “green book” 時々)
- 稲妻 (階層 2 of the card, 階層 1/3 do not draw)
- Magical Preparation
Basics of deckbuildingYou want to draw your best cards, but you also want to be able to afford them. Your deck can have 14 カード, you draw 4 of them at the start of your turn and try to mulligan for the best hand possible.
This is why my decks usually run the best creature twice. The chance to hit them is high, but one is usually enough.
The fewer different cards there are in your the better. Best case scenario would be 4×3 of a card and 2 to get up to 14. That way you would draw what you want in most cases. With Filtering you will achieve an even higher percentage of the best case scenario, which is why Magical Preparation is an absolute no-brainer.
Best(*) カードThis is of course very opinion-based, so take it with a grain of salt.
I explained why filtering is good above. Not getting hit is good too. Great Webweaver can paralyze up to 4 times and is cheap, but it can get hit. I never got a third one, which is why most of my decks have Concoction too. Other possibilitys exist, but i found them too expensive.
The first complete Deck
The first deck in my opinion is dictated by the game. You mostly get armor for wood-creatures, so i made the most of it.
You won’t have the Lizard Elite at the start, substitute it by something you fancy. Mystic Ivy is the bread and butter of this deck, the rest is present to eat hits by attacking first or remove Evade.
The 14th card can be another sacrifice (higher tiers can also be better) or you add Weavers.
Another deck is used is this, but i don’t remember the armor for this one. Probably most of the water-stuff.
I know that two cards are missing here, must have been something i upgraded later. Use filtering or sacrifice if you have it.
Farming/Grinding before and after the third Boss [250 ルーン文字, 6 オーブ]
I was low on runes and soul orbs at this point and had to grind for quite a while. You won’t have most of the armor at the beginning. Use the setup from before until you can make it work. The most important part is the staff.
You won’t have the fire-shoulders, substitute with the blue ones or something else you have. This deck will make a leap if you find those. I suspect you have to beat the third boss so they could show up.
You can also use the fire-armor, but the spiders will hit more targets this way, which is not always what you want. You also won’t be able to kill water elementals, see further below.
Before i used green books and Preparation, i used sacrifice on Boom Bugs to draw and buff the team.
The gist of it is to summon an Apprentice, summon more little critters so you cast fireballs randomly and automatically. You also want to cast as many spells as possible to buff up the Apprentice. The random fireballs count for this too!
Should you meet a water elemental at some point and you use the fire-armor, you are in trouble. Your way out are the green books. You need to hit a none-fire creature with them. I always did.
Lower tier versions of the green book work too. I used only one Apprentice for a long time. Just add more filtering or a Weaver.
The third Boss
The third boss has armor and a lot of health. The idea here is to paralyse him with the webweavers, have at least one Vanguard out as a failsafe (he needs to hit twice to have armor) and use the Boom Bugs and other creatures to kill him. Mulligan aggressively if necessary for at least one Webweaver and one Vanguard. Magical Preparation is essentially a wildcard, but better than most other cards here.
Your 14th card could be another Webweaver/Preparation or another fire-critter. I think i used the armor-setup from before, does not really matter.
The fourth boss
I killed the fourth boss on the first run i did after the third boss with the fire-deck used for farming. I think that was a mistake. Grind for a few runs (多分 10-20) before advancing, because the enemys after the fourth boss were really hard to beat for me.
Because of this i also don’t know which armor is available on this stage of the game.
Farming death-keys [250-300 ルーン文字, 8 オーブ]
I used the fire-setup for quite a while, but i also failed a lot. The enemys with [Souleater] hurt the strategy really bad if other enemys with very low hp (<21) are present, because the random fireballs have to really have the bigger ones. Some also have evade, which doesnt help.
Sequencing is key here. With two Dawn Serpents and two Serpent Dukes i was hitting one of each 90% of the time with filtering.
You want to kill the bigger [Souleater]-enemys first, if they have evade, hit the enemy next to them, thats what the fire-armor is fore. Damage done indirectly trough fire does not count as an attack and sometimes not even as damage, use this to your advantage. Use Lightning for filtering and lowering the hp of the biggest enemys, try not to kill with it if [Souleater]s are still present.
Should you come across a water elemental (those are immune to fire), kill it with all the Lightnings. An Alternative is to let it attack the serpents, somehow the retaliaton does not count as fire.
The realm of DEATH [400 ルーン文字, 10 オーブ]
You made it this far. おめでとうございます! Only took like 10-15 時間. You probably know what you are doing at this point, so i make it short.
First enemy: Big Doggo. Use the Serpent-Deck, Webweavers paralyze, Serpents kill.
Second enemy: Gargoyle Lady(?)
Tormented Weaponmaster was the best choice here, but i only had one. I used Kurse Ghost as a substitute. They are here to [スマイト]. You can only do that once per turn, they will totally die afterwards. Shiv Gladiator is here to get hit, wish i had more than one. Vanguards were my substitute.
I got lucky and had Shiv in my opening hand, so i haven’t used them. Use Concotion/Webweaver to keep the Gargoyles at bay, try to indirectly hit the Boss.
Somehow Shiv Gladiator took all enemys down alone. A second one would have helped.
Be careful with your resources on this fight.
Final enemy: 死
Filter until you have healing, use healing on death.
