The developer of Heat Death has released a new update for the game on April 6, 2024. Here are the new things that you should expect to see or change on this new update. This information was curated directly from the official announcement on Steam.
This patch re-introduces difficulty unlocks, which I had forgotten to implement for the new character selection screen.
- New players can choose between difficulty 0, 1 and 2
- To unlock new difficulties, simply beat the highest difficulty you have access to
- If you would like to skip this progression, there’s a checkbox for that in the ‘cheats & challenges’ menu.
