The developer of The Immortal Mayor has released a new update for the game on April 5, 2024. Voici les nouveautés que vous devriez vous attendre à voir ou à modifier dans cette nouvelle mise à jour. Ces informations ont été extraites directement de l'annonce officielle sur Steam.
Since its launch, The Immortal Mayor has been continuously updated for nearly three years. Durant cette période, the underlying logic, AI performance consumption, and resources have been almost completely reorganized. There have been over 10 content version updates from the launch to the present, adding features such as disasters, immortals, a new divine rights system, and the Kingdom of Women. En même temps, there have been over 300 bug fixes and optimization updates. Recently, we have launched a brand-new DLC – Feather Kingdom.
DLC Additional Content:
Inspiration from « Classic of Mountains and Seas »
The Feather Kingdom, comme décrit dans le « Classic of the Great Wilderness – Southern Wilderness, » is a land of winged people with long heads or long cheeks, depending on the version. Drawing inspiration from this ancient text and blending it with artistic creativity, we have brought the Feather Kingdom to life in our game, adding a host of new and exciting elements for players to enjoy.
New Gameplay Features
- The cities of the Feather Kingdom float high in the clouds, sustained by magnetic forces that must be constantly maintained to prevent them from falling.
- Players can expand their cities using magnetite, allowing them to claim the entire sky as their territory, provided they have enough energy.
- The winged people of the Feather Kingdom possess exceptional mobility, but due to their cities’ lofty perch, acquiring resources can be challenging in the early stages of the game.
- The Feather people have unique wings, with some of the more powerful individuals boasting more stunning and faster-flying wings.
- The city’s altitude is determined by the balance of magnetic force and weight. If the cities descend too low, they will crash to the ground, resulting in game over.
New Wonders:
Feathered Sanctum: It will lower the need of villagers.
Wing Court: It will provide extra foundations and city loads.
We have also added a plethora of new technologies and decorations, which are too numerous to list here. We invite everyone to explore them in the game.
PS: We have invested a significant amount of time in creating this DLC, and we initially considered offering it as a limited-time freebie to recoup some of our costs. toutefois, after internal discussions, we have ultimately decided to give it away for free to all the players who have supported us. If you enjoy it, we plan to introduce even more exciting content in the future, crafting citizens with diverse styles to keep the gameplay fresh and varied.
