This is a short guide for those who are tired of constantly bringing Talan ingrediets for his unique wines. Note that it requires console commands, so this is actually cheating. Mais si ça’s ok with you, then this guide will tell you how to cut the middleman.
Clause de non-responsabilité
Before I get into the details I would like to say a few things.
First of all if you don’t know who Talan is then he is a vintner added through the Fighter’s Stronghold DLC. He will produce for you mead and cheap wine, mais aussi 7 unique new wines if you give him the required ingredients. toutefois, for each additional bottle he will require an additional batch of those ingredients, so unless you don’t care about the wines the process of making them will soon become very tedious.
Next since this requires console commands to work some of you will probably say that you could just add yourselves as many of these wines as you wish without the need to deal with Talan at all. Well yes you could do that, but the method I will present is much less game breaking, as it will just make it look like you gave Talan whole fields of the ingredients. The wine will still be produced at normal rate, ce qui est 1 bottle of each per in-game day and the barrels will still only hold up to 8 bottles at maximum.
So pretty much this is only for those who like to roleplay and/or those who like to use these wines religiously.
The trick
Now before anything else you need to get your hands on the first batch of ingredients for all 7 vins.
The wines are called:
Argonian Bloodwine, Colovian Battlecry, Frostdew Blanc, Julianos Firebelly, Numbskin Mead, Sparkling Honeydew and Stumblefoot’s Reserve.Talan will provide you with a list when you talk to him, pourtant, here is what you need:
- 2 Bergamot Seeds
- 2 Foxglove Nectars
- 1 White Seed Pod
- 1 Bog Beacon Asco
- 1 Cinnabar Polypore Red
- 1 Cinnabar Polypore Yellow
- 2 Aloe Vera Leaves
- 2 Green Stain Cup Caps
- 1 Sacred Lotus Seed
- 4 Lady’s Smock Leaves (this is the only ingredient required for 2 different wines hence you need 4 au total)
- 1 Dragon’la langue
- 2 Lavender Sprigs
- 2 Summer Boletes
- 1 Arrowroot
- 2 Flax Seeds
Obtain them by any means necessary i.e. buy them, find them or spawn them.
Now you have to wait until midnight so Talan will go to sleep. This is because he will not produce any wine while sleeping, so he will not use up any of the ingredients yet. Once he goes back to bed open the console with ~ and use the arrow to click on him this will reveal his ID which is ??00b0b0. Notez que le ?? are not actually part of his ID, as the first two characters will change depending on the order of your DLC installation, so it could be the same as mine or not, which is why you need to reveal his ID first.
Now type the command duplicateallitems ??00b0b0, this will cause all the items he is carrying to double, and every time you use it again they will double further. Utilisez-le 10 times and that will multiply all the ingredients by a factor of over 1000, thus providing him with enough ingredients to last for almost 3 in-game years. And even if you intend to play that long you can just repeat the process if he starts running out or you can just multiply them further providing him supplies that will last for millennia. toutefois, do not overdo it or the items will start to disappear when their amount grows far too big.
Regardless Talan will now produce his wines every day or at least until the barrels are full, but whenever they are not full he will start making more for you.
Further notes
Some of you are probably thinking « why not just spawn all the ingredients and give them to him? »
Well yes, tu pourrais, but you can only give him one batch at a time, so if you want to give him enough ingredients to make 1000 of each wine that would take you 7000 clicks, and if you want to give him even more then you realize what that would mean right?
It should be noted that the process will also multiply any other items Talan has in his inventory including his clothes. If that bothers you then you can just pickpocket everything from him, but you have to do it before you use the command as when they grow into large stacks it will become impossible to pickpocket them all. Also since he is wearing his clothes you will have to pickpocket the duplicates after each use of the command. toutefois, tu devrais’t worry he will never get over-encumbered.
