The world of The Bloodline is rich with various ores, ranging from humble coal and copper to the glittering treasures of gold and silver. Parfois, your mining adventures might surprise you with valuable byproducts like blaststone, a key ingredient in crafting bombs!

Finding these valuable resources often means exploring the nearest cliffs or rocky outcrops. Keep in mind that some areas might be richer in resources than others, while a few might have none at all.

Each section will focus on a specific area and provide directions and descriptions to help you reach these spots. Places to Avoid as a Miner

Types of Ore

Normal Nodes

Before you can use most ores, you need to do something called « smelting. » Il’s like turning them into special blocks called « ingots. » Pour faire ça, toi’ll need lots of coal, donc si tu’ve seen any coal deposits while mining, make sure to grab them! You can find places to smelt your ores in the Harbinger’s Stronghold and some big cities like Elderglen, Velosia, and Arema.

When you have metal bars like copper and iron, you can use them to make weapons. Toi’ll need a skill called « weaponsmithing, » et toi’ll work at a blacksmith’s enclume. But if you already have cool weapons, you can use these metal bars to make gadgets at an engineering table!

Maintenant, if you find special ores like gold and silver, you can turn them into ingots and sell them to make some money. Il’s like finding treasure in the ground and then turning it into shiny metal to sell for a nice profit!

Mining Byproducts

Quand tu’re out mining, tu as gagné’t just find metal. Parfois, toi’ll stumble upon other things that can be useful in the game.

Unused Resources

Maintenant, ici’s something important to know. In some games, like The Bloodline, you might find items that don’t have a use yet. Enfiler’ne t'inquiète pas; it happens in early access games. But the good news is that the game developer is great at giving updates.

Donc, even if these items don’t have a use right now, they might become important in the future:

Parford Lake

Parford Lake is a calm place where new players often go. You can do quests here and find regular stuff like fish, arbres, végétaux, et du minerai. Mais, the ore here isn’pas très bien. Except for one spot under the monastery, il’s spread out and not in big chunks. Mais je’ll tell you where to find it if you want to mine.

La plupart, sinon tout, the ore is on the western side. Donc, enfiler’t go to the east if you’re just looking for ore. Stick to the west side.

Parford Lake Ravines – C

Once you get into the area, just keep going on the road. Toi’ll reach another road that goes around the lake. If you go left on this road, il’ll take you to two spots where you can do some mining. The first one is a bunch of big cracks in the ground called ravines. Down in those ravines, toi’ll see some rocks scattered around. Mais attention! There are goblins and bandits hanging around, donc ça’s not very safe, surtout si tu’re just starting out in the game.

Parford Lake Hillside – C

Maintenant, if you decide to go past those ravines and keep walking along the edge of the lake, toi’ll see some big rocks spaced out between the lake and a long hill. Là’s more ore here too, but be ready to deal with more goblins and sometimes even a big hill troll. The ore here isn’t all close together, and because of those monsters, mining here can be pretty tough.

Parford Monastery Cave – B

Maintenant, this is where you can find some real gold (littéralement, parfois). Up on the north side of the island, là’s a little cave that connects to the underground part of the monastery. The cave is pretty tiny, so the ore is super close to each other, which makes mining a breeze. Il’s a bit of a walk from where you first enter the area, Mais croyez-moi, il’ça vaut le coup. And the cool thing is, the cave also leads to the catacombs, where you can find lots of coffins to loot. Donc, là’s a bonus for you!

Glennheim Hills

Maintenant, laisser’s talk about Glennheim Hills, which might be one of the first places you check out depending on your journey. This area is all about big hills and cliffs, et ça’s got a bunch of ore for those adventurers who’ve been keeping up with their leg workouts. But be ready, because there are quite a few enemies hanging around in a couple of spots. Donc, you might have to do some fighting before you get your hands on that precious ore. Mais bon, quoi’s better than ore stained with the blood of your enemies, droite?

Oh, and I should mention, là’s a copper mine here, but as of when I’m writing this guide, tu peux’t get to it. Donc, just keep that in mind as you explore.

Glennheim Hills Cliffs – UN

The hills in Glennheim are like a big ore playground if you’re up for some running around. Just keep an eye out for those sneaky groups of green guys (gobelins) or bandits. Rester en état d'alerte, et toi’ll make it out of there with a pocket full of riches!

Abandoned Mines – UN

Si tu’d rather not do too much running around and want an easy mining spot, just follow the road straight from where you enter the area. Il’ll take you to an old, abandoned mine. Walk under the big stone arch, deal with the goblins one way or another (fight or sneak past), and stick close to the left wall. Toi’ll come across the mine.

I really suggest checking out this place before you start climbing cliffs. It might be a bit of a walk from the entrance, but the rocks here are really close together, which makes mining a breeze. Fais-moi confiance; il’ça vaut le coup!

Elderglen Woods

Oh, Elderglen Woods, what a lovely place! Si tu’RE TOUT COMME MOI, toi’ll find yourself coming here often. It has so much to enjoy, like big fields filled with herbs and mushrooms. And there are calm rivers and a peaceful lake where you can go fishing without any noise.

Et laisser’s not forget about the ore. Il’s pretty good here!

Steps of Esros – S

The Steps of Esros, Oh, il’s a beautiful mountain path you’ll get to see during the main story. Mais attention, là’s a bunch of goblins blocking your way! toutefois, là’s a HUGE amount of ore here, donc ça’s a great spot for mining lots of ore all at once.

Steps of Esros Cave – C

Toi’ll go to this cave as part of the main story, donc toi’ll definitely find it eventually. À l'intérieur, là’s not a whole lot of ore, mais bon, il’s better than having none at all!

The Blessing Tree – C

Over on the eastern side of the zone, là’s a big tree sitting on a little hill. And right on the south side of that hill, toi’ll spot a square building. Just a bit beyond that, là’s a small patch of ore. Il’s not the greatest ore spot, mais bon, il’s something, Je suppose!

Poppy Fields Boulder – B

This is the spot to be! Même si’s just a random boulder smack in the middle of the zone, il’s loaded with a bunch of ore, et ça’s all nice and close together! Il’s not too tricky to find either. Just go towards the lake, and then head on up north. Tu peux’ça ne manque pas!

Turtleshell Lake – C

Oh, laisser’s chat about the lake, Turtleshell Lake, c'est. Il’s over on the southern side of the area, et si tu’re a wandering fisherman, you might find a bit of ore here. Climb up those cliffs that are all around the waterfall and start swinging! Là’s not a whole bunch, mais ça’s not too shabby either.

Molten Crag

This place is pretty cool! Imagine a land that’s all fiery and destroyed, not like it used to be when it was all green and nice. Malheureusement, là’s not much mining to do here, du moins pour l'instant. But guess what? You can get some fancy high-level ore here!

Molten Crag Caves – UN

As soon as you step in, toi’ll see some pools of hot, molten stuff. If you go to the third pool and walk along the edge towards the left, toi’ll find a cave on the side of the hill. Inside that cave, là’s a bunch of ore just waiting for you, et si tu’j'ai de la chance, you might even stumble upon some really good stuff like gold or hetrum! How cool is that?

Three Sisters Forest

Oh, I totally get why you love the Three Sisters Forest! Il’s such a cool place, with those tiered hills covered in mist and surrounded by thick forests. Là’s something mysterious about it, droite?

Scattered Boulders – UN

Right at the entrance has some big rocks, and guess what? Ils’ve got mining spots on them. Il’s not a huge haul, but it gives you a taste of what’à venir.

Three Sisters Forest Cliffs – S

Ouah, just look at all that shiny ore hanging out on the cliff sides. Il’s like a treasure trove waiting for you. Mais, be ready to put your pickaxe to work; il’s gonna get a real workout there!

Shrouded Caves – C

On the left side of the main road. Mais ici’c'est le truc, je’d strongly recommend not going inside. Those caves are like pitch-black voids, and whatever ore might be in there is hidden in that darkness. Il’s better to stick to the well-lit mining spots!

Wolfden Priory

One more nice place for an evening walk, but remember your bear repellent and raincoat. Not much mining here, mais là’s one cool spot.

Étoile déchue – B

The Fallen Star? Il’s like a huge meteor that could’ve wiped out a big chunk of the country. But if you can handle some wannabe bandits, là’s ore outside and a decent interior to explore.

Khenmoore Flatlands

Ouah, this place is great! There are dwarven ruins, regular ruins, wet ruins, and tall ruins. Just kidding about the jokes! Mais sérieusement, il’s a cool place with a natural beauty that miners will love.

Flats Boulder – UN

This flat boulder in Khenmoore Flats has a lot of ore on it, et ça’s pretty close to the entrance. Just stick to the left side on the lower level, et toi’ll spot this shiny rock. Just be careful of some goblins hanging around.

Abandoned Dwarven Mining Outpost – S

Maintenant, celui-ci’s a biggie. From the outside, it looks like an old dwarven fort, but underneath, il’s one of the biggest caves in the game. Take the elevator in the main building to get down there, et toi’ll find a ton of ore waiting for you. Just make sure you know how to use that grapple hook!

The Old Druids Holy Grounds – C

In the middle-right of the zone, there are some small hills connected by safe rope bridges. These hills have some ore on them, which can be a bit tricky to reach but totally worth it.

The Old Druids Holy Grounds Cave – B

Look under a stone overhang for a cave entrance. À l'intérieur, là’s ore lit up by glowing mushrooms. Il’s one of the few places where hetrum spawns!

Brittlebean Hold

Be careful of the bandits who’ve taken over this place! Avec un peu de chance, ils’re too busy to stop you from mining all the ore they’tu as disparu.

There is some ore here, mais ça’s a bit spread out. If you decide to mine here, taking out bandits along the way might earn you some experience.

Above-ground Mine – B

Right by the entrance, là’s a small boulder with a cute little ramp. Toi’ll find some ore and a few mushrooms here. Il’s not a bad spot to check out.

Brittlebean Hill – C

After passing the main courtyard with the big tree, là’s a small alcove on the left with rocks, ore to mine, and more mushrooms!

Bandit Encampment – C

Inside the bandit camp surrounded by wooden walls, toi’ll see several medium-sized boulders near the walls. There are also some ore nodes to mine, along with more mushrooms. Il’s not a lot, but there are bandits around too!

Bandit Encampment Mine – C

To the right of the big stone gate leading to the actual hold, là’s another open-air mine. j'ai’t found much here, as usual for this area, but there are a couple of rocks if you’re really in need.
