How to Read this Guide
Did you know that if you have the right people in your party during a character’S chapitre, une cinématique va jouer? Travel banter is one of the only ways we actually see the 8 main characters interact with each other. You can first see travel banter during Chapter 2 of a character’le scénario. The trick is, you have to have both party members in your party at the right time. This guide is to inform you who to have and when to have them.
The map will show you where each character’s chapter begins. Once you enter the town with that character, the chapter may begin. Travel banter can happen anytime between that and after you beat the boss of the chapter. It most often takes place between cutscenes or when entering a new area. There is travel banter for every combination of characters in every chapter, and this guide will show you how to view them all!
This guide is spoiler-free. Follow the instructions about who to have in your party and when. If the instructions say « Immediately », then go directly back to the pub, avoiding the area where the next cutscene takes place. If multiple characters are listed, you can switch as soon as you see the first character’s travel banter or take both with you for that section of the story. If your party configuration allows, you can do multiple steps at a time. This guide is written as if you have one character locked in place because you haven’t completed their last chapter yet.

- Prendre Alfyn ET H’aanit to the boss
Alfyn Chapter 3
- Commencez par Tressa ET Therion ET Ophilia (Si vous le pouvez’t fit all four of these characters in your party, fast travel to another town to switch, then come back and you’ll see the scene)

Therion Chapter 3
- Enter town with Tressa ET Cyrus

- Prendre Primrose ET Alfyn out of town
- Immediately warp back to town to switch for Ophilia ET Olberic, then go back to where you were
H’aanit Chapter 3
- Enter with Ophilia
- Switch for Therion, alors Cyrus
- Prendre Tressa out of town
- Go back to town and take Olberic ET Primrose to the boss
- Switch for Alfyn
Chapitre 4
Ophilia Chapter 4
- Enter with Therion
- Switch for Primrose ET H’aanit ET Tressa ET Alfyn (It is impossible, so far as I can tell, for all four conversations to be viewed at once since fast travel is locked. Pick your favorite three or reload your save.)
- After the next scene, go straight to the tavern and switch for Olberic ET Cyrus. Their banter will appear immediately.
Cyrus Chapter 4
- Enter with H’aanit
- Switch for Therion ET Alfyn
- Enter the dungeon with Primrose ET Ophilia
- Leave and take Olberic ET Tressa into the dungeon
Tressa Chapter 4
- Enter with Cyrus ET Ophilia
- Switch for Therion ET H’aanit
- Switch for Alfyn
- Prendre Olberic into the dungeon
- Prendre Primrose to the boss
Olberic Chapter 4
- Enter with Cyrus ET Primrose
- Switch for Ophilia ET Alfyn without entering the town square
- Switch for Therion
- Enter the dungeon with H’aanit
- Prendre Tressa most of the way through the dungeon (You will be able to switch her out right before the boss)
Primrose Chapter 4
- Enter with Cyrus ET Therion
- Switch for Tressa ET Ophilia
- Prendre Olberic ET Alfyn ET H’aanit into the dungeon (Si vous le pouvez’t get all three, Olberic goes first. Get his, then switch for the other two.)
Alfyn Chapter 4
