This list helps you pick the best items in the game. Ici’s the order you should follow:
Priority Order:
- Tree Whisperer
- Dual Use items
- Boss Melter Items
- Swarm Melter Items
- Damage Reduction Items
- Junk
- Mains inactives (only if you have less than 4 projectiles)
If you think an item is strong enough, you can skip it and choose something lower on the list.
Tree Whisperer Tier
This is a super important item once you reach around stage 5 ou alors. The sooner you grab it, mieux c'est. Tree Whisperer works like this: quand tu’re chilling on a tree, it drops items for you. It does this about once every second. Maintenant, ici’s the tricky part: si tu’re hanging out on multiple trees, it will only pick one of them to drop items on. Crushed Ruby: This is your go-to for boosting your crit chance beyond the starting bonus. As you level it up, it gets better and better. Niveaux 1-3 give you more crit chance and crit damage. Niveaux 4-6 transform it into Cracked Ruby, which further increases crit chance, dégâts critiques, and adds a bleeding effect. Swarm Melter Tier
These items are all about dealing damage to lots of enemies at once, like swarms. Ils’re great for chain attacks, on-hit effects, or AoE attacks. Since most enemies die in one hit, these are perfect for clearing swarms. Even the lower-ranked items here have their uses.

Chaîne (Projectile): Il’s like getting an extra projectile without a special bonus after it bounces.
Soft Blobs (Projectile): Adds an extra, slightly weaker projectile that still counts as your initial attack.
Éclat (Projectile): Vous donne +3 projectiles and they chain once you get Splinter Storm.
Explosive Blobs (Zone d'Entrée): Triggers on kill and the final upgrade can chain. Il’s the most effective at taking down swarms.
Feu (Zone d'Entrée): Also triggers on kill, and the third upgrade allows it to chain. Il’s a bit weaker but easier to upgrade.
Implode (Zone d'Entrée): Triggers on attack, dealing more damage and getting more kills than the others. Chains less but procs more. The final tier is solid.

Thousand Needles (Projectile): Similar to Chain Lightning, get it only if you need an early chain attack.

Damage Reduction Tier

Orb Amplifier: Au niveau 4, it gives you 30% more XP and a chance for duplicate orbs. Que’s about as good as it gets.

Wiggling Worms (Zone d'Entrée): Worms move away from dead enemies and through other enemies, causing damage. toutefois, il’s not particularly powerful and doesn’t chain well.
Silly Saucer (Projectile): Rotates around you and flies off when hit. Il’s not very potent. The upgrade adds a saw that goes across the screen sometimes, mais ça’s not worth pursuing.

Idle Hands gets its own special mention because it’s considered the worst item in the game. It imposes permanent debuffs once you have 4 projectiles. While it might be usable before you upgrade your starting projectiles, il’s crucial to prioritize increasing your number of projectiles before any other stat.
