Préface

Welcome to my first Steam guide! Obtaining all achievements in Dome Keeper took me approximately X hours and during the course of my gameplay, I picked up a few strategies to unlock certain achievements and figured I’d share these.

This guide is a work in progress and will be updated moving forward, as new achievements are added.

Just play around on a small map, find the relic and bring it back to the dome.

Complete relic hunt on a small map.

This is unmissable, simply beat the relic hunt game mode on a small map.

Land of the orbs

Land of the orbs

Unlock the orb world.

As you beat runs, you will unlock new maps, weapon types, dome types etc. Just keep playing and you’ll get this after a few runs.

Unlock the sword dome.

Hoard 8 cobalt.

You should get this through standard play, if not play on a larger map and hoard cobalt once you can hold off enemy waves with ease.

The regular

Complete relic hunt on a medium sized map.

Same as the Bite sized achievement, complete relic hunt on a medium map (unlocked by completing the small map first).

Land of the behemoth

Land of the behemoth

Unlock the behemoth world.

This is the same as the Land of the orbs achievement, just keep playing.

Find a friend

Find a friend

Hatch the mysterious egg.

This one is based purely on luck. It could theoretically happen in your first run or like me, gagné’t happen until you’concernant 30 hours in. While mining, toi’ll find what appears to be an egg. Bring it back to the dome and the achievement will pop, win that game and you’ll receive a new pet!

A keeper of status

A keeper of status

Unlock the prestige mode.

As with previous achievements, keep playing the relic hunt mode and choose prestige mode as your unlock.

The deep end

The deep end

Complete relic hunt on a large map.

Encore, this is the same as Bite sized and The regular achievements – complete relic hunt on a large map (unlocked after beating a medium map). Be aware the relic will spawn much deeper into the map this time around.

Land of the stalks

Land of the stalks

Unlock the stalk world.

This is the same as the Land of the orbs and Land of the behemoth achievements.

Master of gravity

Master of gravity

Unlock the Assessor.

Encore, continue winning runs and choose the Assessor character as your unlock.

My Savior

My Savior

Find a cobalt while having none stored and the dome being under 10% santé.

Pour débloquer ce succès, you need to run out of cobalt and let enemies reduce your dome health to under 10 percent health. Once low on health, kill the enemies and search for cobat (must be fresh, uncovered and unmined) and use this to repair the health of your dome and the achievement will pop.

Half marathon

Half marathon

Travel half the length of a Marathon in one run.

I unlocked this by mistake while trying for other achievements. Essentially start a game on a huge map and work your way through it, it should pop once you’re in the depths of the map.

Monde aquatique

Monde aquatique

Produire 10 water with the condenser in one run.

For this achievement you’ll need the condenser gadget, which periodically produces water throughout your run. Simply let it do its thing or upgrade it to produce water more quickly. Easy achievement but remember to collect water from it as its produced, as new water cannot be created unless the slot is vacant.

I came prepared

I came prepared

After retrieving the relic, beat the final wave without the help of the relic bomb.

Play on a large or huge map here to ensure you have plenty of resources, in particular stockpile cobalt to heal the dome later on. The stun gadget is a huge help with this, mais ça’s doable without as well. Max out all upgrades for your dome weaponry (either laser or sword) and your shield (recommended for this achievement). Remember you can exit combat and remain at the computer terminal, effectively pausing the game, then go into upgrades and restore the dome’la santé. Make sure to do this before it hits around 25 percent or the relic bomb will trigger.

Shield Completed

Shield Completed

Unlock every battle ability of the shield.

This means the power options in the main menu not the upgrades in level. These are unlocked by winning stages, make sure to pick the options relating to shield, such as the invulnerability power.

Ready for battle

Ready for battle

Avoir 150 or more shield hp ready.

Cette réalisation est assez simple. Using the shield dome, simply upgrade your shield health points to 150.

Land of the Spores

Unlock the mushroom world.

As with past achievements, you will unlock this over time.

Close call

Close call

Survive a battle with 1% health left.

Pour cette réalisation, you need to survive a wave of enemies with only one percent dome health remaining. I did this by clearing all but one basic ranged enemy from a wave and letting them attack the dome. Wait until you have all but no health left and kill the enemy and the achievement will be yours. This might be tedious, si c'est le cas’t work continue trying and it will pop eventually. Normal difficulty recommended.

My good mule

Have the lift transport 200 resources in one run.

This works best on a huge map. Simply play as normal and use the lift as much as possible, you can carry resources right up to the underside of the dome and let the orbs do the rest to get this.

Shopping Bag Conundrum

Porter 20 resources back to the dome in one go as the Engineer.

Simply play as the engineer and reach the maximum upgrade for carry capacity. You may need to stockpile some resources to ensure you can return to the dome with 20 en une seule fois.

The third eye

Detect 15 resources with the probe in one cycle.

You need the probe gadget for this achievement, upgrade it so you have additional probe uses available. What I did was drill deep into unmined earth and use the probe, then drill into another unmined area and repeat. I did this until all probe charges had been used and the achievement popped. Le 15 resources must not be visible to you and must be unique – tu peux’t scan the same resource multiple times and it must be completed in one cycle, meaning between two waves. This may take several attempts to unlock. If unsuccessful, try again after the next wave and don’t forget you need to manually charge the probe at its station under the dome!

Learning opportunity

Learning opportunity

Simply lose the game 10 fois. This will occur over time, or just start runs on the hardest difficulty and let the first wave of enemies do its thing.

Earth shattering

Earth shattering

Utiliser 15 blast charges in one run.

An easy achievement, you need the blast mining gadget. Simply use the mine each time it becomes available during a regular run and this should pop.

Canopy

Canopy

Unlock every battle ability of the orchard.

Start your runs with the canopy and continue winning until you unlock all battle abilities.

Transmogrification

Transmogrification

Effectuer 10 conversions in one run.

Unlock the resource converter gadget and either use water to create iron, or iron to create water. Whenever the converter finishes its cycle, collect the resources and set it going again. Répéter 10 fois.

Delay a wave by more than 0.5 cycles.

Bring the repellent and upgrade its top tier – retard 1, 2 et 3, then also choose the overcharge repellent. Overcharge the repellent once all top tier upgrades have been bought and the achievement will pop when you next delay a wave.

Gagner 10 court.

Explicatif, if you want to speed this up set the run modifiers to normal difficulty on a small map.

Not so hasty

Unlock every battle ability of the repellent.

Choose the repellent and win runs with it. You will unlock the respective battle abilities after each win.

Doping

Feed 10 treats to Drillbert in one run.

Try to start the level with Drillbert and immediately upgrade to improved treat production. Every time you see the treat is ready, throw it to Drillbert for him to eat. Fais ceci 10 times and the achievement should pop. I had some trouble with this, I found I had to give Drillbert a treat and let him dig before giving him another, rincer et répéter, for the achievement to unlock.

Quick Finish

Quick Finish

Retrieve the relic within 20 minutes.

I did this on normal difficulty on a small map. Play normally until you upgrade your drill to tier 2, then start drilling straight down. Use iron you find along the way to upgrade your drills to tier 3. Once you hit the bottom layer, mine left and right until finding the relic as this is your priority. Grab it and race back to the dome and the achievement should pop. I managed to get this in one run, but it was pretty close. May take a couple of runs to get.

The Need for Speed

The Need for Speed

I accomplished this by choosing the Orchard and being sure to get the lift upgrade. I maxed out my character’s speed as well as the lift speed upgrade and the orchard fruit’s speed upgrade. Simply fly up the lift and the achievement will be yours. It may be possible that not all of these are required, but better safe than sorry!

Rich in Fiber

Rich in Fiber

Consume a fruit that buffs you for at least 0.6 cycles.

Take the top tier upgrade for the orchard and the overcharge upgrades that increase the duration. Water the orchard, eat the next fruit that grows, et toi’c'est fini.

Deep and Greedy

Deep and Greedy

Dig down 100 depth.

Pour obtenir ce succès, you need to dig down 100 carrelage. You will likely unlock this during a prestige run but if not, a huge map may also work but I have not tested this. If you wish to rush, just grab drill upgrades and drill straight down until it pops.

Thorough

Mine every single block on a map.

As stated in the description, you just need to mine every block in a map. A small map may work, however I used a medium sized one so I had enough resources to max my speed and drills, making short work of all the blocks.

Bringing home the big bucks

Gagner 200 prestige in one wave.

Any points gained from launching the rocket count for the current wave, meaning you can earn this by reaching 200 prestige points and leaving on the rocket.

My name shall be known

My name shall be known

Win a prestige run with 1000 points or more.

This is most easily done by reaching at least 500 points and then leaving on the rocket. Possible without the rocket, however it is more challenging.

Avoir 80 resources hanging in the lift.

I did this by starting a game on easy, working towards unlocking the first module. Si c'est’s the lift, feel free to let enemies destroy your dome and carry the lift over to your next run. For the next run, toi’ll want to again start on normal difficulty and select either a large or huge map. Enfiler’t upgrade the lift beyond the speed upgrade for your character and be sure to pick up resources carefully.

Au moment où tu’ve strip-mined the first three/four levels, you will have upgraded your dome enough to hold enemy waves. As you dig further, stockpile resources beside the lift until you have around 80 – you can pause the game and count how many resources are sitting in a pile. Reach a prestige multiplier of 10 in the regular prestige mode.

This can be done instantly upon unlocking the fixed cobalt variant of the mode, simply pour all your starting cobalt into the rocket and you end up at 11x.

Perfect Placement

Have a sphere fly for 17 seconds or longer.

I did this by taking all the sphere lifetime upgrades and firing a sphere diagonally down a narrow corridor. The more rocks the sphere bounces off, the longer it lives. Si la réalisation ne’t'éclate, continue d'essayer!

Solitaire Pong

Reflect a sphere 15 fois de suite.

Théoriquement, you only need to upgrade sphere reflection once for the achievement, but more upgrades will likely help. Find an area with plenty of rocks in a line and reflect your sphere against those rocks. Rocks increase the sphere’s duration compared to walls.

Bulky Goods

Shoot a bundle of at least 20 resources as the Assessor.

Choose the bundle shot upgrade for the Assessor and simply fire 20 resources anywhere on the map. You do not have to fire the resources into the dome so feel free to play around, it may take several attempts.
