Bonjour, to those who are reading this message. The folks over at Discord have been busy lately dealing with problems related to players logging into their friends’ accounts or sharing accounts and then struggling to log out. We want to make things crystal clear: là’s currently no way to log out once you’ve logged into someone else’s account. Quand tu fais ça, it combines your data with theirs and erases your profile from your device and the cloud. Malheureusement, là’s no magic fix for this, et nous pouvons’t restore accounts right now because our developers are tied up, and our staff team is focused on Discord moderation. If this has happened to you or a friend, the only way to remove the account from your device is by deleting it on one device while the other has the game running to prevent permanent account deletion. If you need to get a refund for purchases, you can do that through the iOS settings, or reach out to your app store for assistance. Please share this info with anyone who might be affected to prevent more issues down the road.
Lately, nous’ve been emphasizing the importance of being cautious about account rollbacks. While this is still important, nous’ve managed to find a solution to half of the problem: preventing the rollback from happening in the first place. Even though we can’t restore accounts that have already been rolled back due to device switches, we now have a way to ensure it doesn’t happen again if you’faire attention. Nous’d like to give a special shoutout to YouTuber Daddyezee for making a helpful video on this topic. Ici’s the link to the video and a summary of the solution:
Au cas où tu pourrais’t watch the video, ici’c'est un aperçu rapide:
The issue arises if you don’t have both devices (the one with old data and the one with the data you want to keep) logged into Combat Master and in the main menu. Handling more than two devices requires extra care.
With both devices in Combat Master, utiliser le « Save to Cloud » feature on the new data device in the Account settings to save your data to the cloud. Exit Combat Master on the old data device and log back in with it, while keeping the new data device open during this process.
After a few seconds of logging in with the old data device, it should update to the data from the new device. You can check this by looking at your player level, loadout equipment, loadout levels, battle pass level, or any other indicators of data rollback. Please double-check everything.
You can now exit the new data device and play on the « old data » appareil, which now has the updated data. Repeat this process if you need to play on the other device. Keeping Combat Master running on any device will maintain the data until it’s either closed or crashes.
The Discord staff team appreciates your patience with this issue. We understand that it’s a significant problem, which is why we’re doing our best to keep the community informed. This will likely be the last time we ping everyone about this issue unless we find a way to restore progress. Future updates will receive most of our notifications. Merci, and stay safe, militaires!
