This guide will help you unlock and get the three different endings in Xissai: the Snake Temple. It won’t reveal the endings, but it assumes you’ve played through at least once and have witnessed one of the endings, so you recognize the scene being talked about.
Descripción general
en este juego, not every decision you make influences your journey. The initial set of inquiries, when encountering Vashtra, is purely for learning about the lore. Opting for anything other than «Hesitate» provides background information and takes you back to the list without that question. Choosing «Hesitate» moves you forward to the next scene, concluding your chance to ask questions. The option ‘Stay silent or ask for details’ apparently has no impact on the outcome.
The second question doesn’t affect your route. Whether you struggle or not, it doesn’t make any difference.
It’s the third choice, occurring several in-game days later, where your decisions start to shape the course of your journey.
Twins Ending
For the Best Ending, known as the Twins Ending, focus on «your brother» when given the choice here. After making this choice, you’re committed, and there’s no turning back.
Próximo, you’ll encounter the Momentous Scene, where you decide to «keep the secret» o «confess.» This decision determines who administers the Purification Ritual – the Patriarch if you confess or Gorian if you hide it. Gorian’s scenes are more personally involved, while the Patriarch maintains a professional veneer. This section, especially choosing between «keep the secret» y «confess,» can be challenging emotionally. Choose wisely based on how much emotional impact you want, especially considering the scenes with a tearful Seles.
Keep in mind that there’s a short missable scene featuring Llyr. You can unlock it by choosing to «keep the secret» y luego, much later, deciding to «aceptar» with Gorian.
Regardless of your choices, as you focused on «your brother» más temprano, both twins will recover and gain their tails. Seles will confess his doubts to Vel, and the twins will begin investigating, leading to the unraveling of mysteries and ultimately culminating in the Twins Ending.
También, please note that there are reports about the crashing issues when getting on a certain scene. si eso sucede, we recommend checking out our guide on how to fix Xissai: the Snake Temple crashing issues.
Temple Ending
For the Temple Ending, either restart and find the ‘skip’ button or return to a previous save. Esta vez, express concern about «your priesthood,» aligning with dedicating yourself to the Temple. After your significant moment, choose to confess your sin to the Council. The Purification Ritual proceeds more smoothly with the Patriarch in charge instead of Gorian. The twins are permitted back into their rooms to wait out the seven days. The Patriarch declares them «purified,» y su «fluids» are deemed non-poisonous.
Siguiendo esto, you’ll have the option to view an optional scene for the Insemination Ritual. There’s no CG, and the writing for the scene is rather uninterested and bland. Unless you strongly desire Sel and Vel to canonically have bred female «temple servants,» there’s no compelling reason to watch it.
Vashtra joins the twins on their pilgrimage to convert the entire kingdom. There’s a small choice just after leaving the temple regarding whether Vashtra submits to the ‘new authority’ or resists it. While it doesn’t alter the ending, choosing one option results in a bit more humiliation for the twins if Vashtra backs down.
The rest of the Temple Ending unfolds, and it can be somewhat depressing. Only one more ending to explore.
Mal final
To experience the Bad Ending, prioritize the «priesthood» over your brother. Following your significant moment, opt to «keep it a secret.»
After the covert purification ritual, you have the choice to ‘agree’ with Gorian. If you choose this, Seles gets one last chance to see Llyr before the inevitable Bad End unfolds.
