Malacath Quest Walkthrough
To start the quest, go to Malacath’s Shrine, located directly north of Anvil, and a bit northwest of Lord Drad’s Estate. Talk to Shobob gro-Rugdush when you arrive. She can share details about the mine’s location, directly east of the manor. Instead of unlocking the mine door easily, the Hero might sneak into the house at night and take the mine key from a small table to the left of the front door.
Bleak Mine
Inside the mine, the Hero will encounter mine guards and their captain. To liberate the ogres, two choices exist: defeat the guards or pickpocket them to get a key, or pick the locks on the ogres’ cages directly. The selected method influences how the Hero proceeds with the ogre liberation.
Because the guards are gathered near the mine entrance, the Hero can defeat them without getting marked for murder or receiving a bounty.
