This is a guide for a short but very sweet horror game featuring Kuchisake-onna. This guide will serve as a walkthrough towards obtaining all nine achievements.

Introducción

Konbanwa readers! En esta guía, I have provided all the essentials towards obtaining every achievement in Slit Mouthed – 口裂け女. This is a simple first-person horror game that utilizes atmosphere while featuring a threat in motion that will pursue the player in certain segments.

That threat is Kuchisake-onna, a famous Japanese legend. There are puzzles, and there are three possible endings, but this is still one of the easiest horror games in regards to completion. If knowing where to go, all nine achievements could be earned within an hour or less. Advertencia: There is a minor spoiler in this guide pertaining to a side character.

Coleccionables

Coleccionables: There are five collectibles to find within the mansion. They take the form of identical figurines.

The first figurine will be located in the room to the left of the staircase on the first floor where two windows that have to be checked are located. After opening the sliding door in the room, look to a desk to your right (or behind you after closing both windows) and the collectible will be facing your direction.

The second figurine is located in the room right above that, also on the left when facing the staircase. After checking the first window in said room, there is a desk with several urns. Prensa «mi» (or whichever button is chosen for use) to inspect the urn furthest to the right. Flip it to look inside and press the assigned button to collect what is inside. You now have the second collectible.

The third figurine requires a record that will be found next to the television to your left after the first encounter with Kuchisake-onna. Once the record is collected, you can go downstairs to the room with the record player (the one to the right side of the staircase on the first floor). Select the record player, choose the record from your inventory, and an eerie song will play. On the desk with the record player, the bottom portion will open to reveal the third figurine inside.

The fourth figurine will be found in the room where you watched Seiji get murdered. After picking up the key on the table to the left of Seiji’s bloody body, turn back and look to the boxes on the floor to the right before leaving. Click the assigned «usar» button on them and the box to the right will slide, revealing the fourth figurine.

The fifth and final figurine will be found near the finale of the game when on the roof of the mansion. After passing the maze, the player will enter a section where Kuchisake-onna can hurt the player, so be vigilant! This section is separated by a wall that the player can slide under, and after doing so for the first time, go into the entrance to your left. You will immediately see a small table. Go to it to pick up the last figurine, but hurry before Kuchisake-onna gets you!

Terminaciones (Malo, Neutral, and Good)

El Mal final is extremely easy to achieve. All you have to do is reach the end of the game. Kuchisake-onna approaches you, and you have three options. Choosing «No» will give you the bad ending.

El Final neutral is just as easy. If you select «start game» en el menú, you can avoid playing through most of the game again. Reach the same part at the end, but this time say «Sí» for the neutral ending.

El Buen final takes a little more effort to obtain. There are three essentials. The first is the axe behind the shelf and near the key after clicking on the bust. Once you have the axe, go back to the basement and witness Seiji’s murder. Después, go to the room with the record player. On the desk to the side of it, there are two drawers on both sides of a chair. por un lado, there is a key, but in the other drawer, there is a note that states that an axe stained with the blood of a victim can ward off Kuchisake-onna. After finishing the upstairs puzzle. Go back to the basement, but be careful for Kuchisake-onna. Go to Seiji, press the use button, and your axe will have blood on it. Vuelve arriba, break the chain, complete the roof portion, and reach the end of the game. When you encounter Kuchisake-onna as she asks «am I pretty,» seleccionar «usar artículo» and choose the axe. Genius and 1+1=3

Both of these achievements surround the first puzzle which regards the family murder mystery and the cloths over supposed bodies that surround a table with a box with a key inside. They must be completed separately, so after finishing one, you can go back to the menu and start the game. It is not far into the game.

Genio requires choosing «Sí» on the mother when asked if she is the killer. There are four bodies with cloths covering them, and the mother is the one to the left when first entering this puzzle room.

1+1=3 involves choosing the wrong options for who is the killer. Hacer clic «Sí» on two of the blanketed bodies that is not the mother and you will get this achievement. Keep in mind that it does take away some health, so pick up one of the syringes like the one on the second floor before proceeding.

Otros

The following three achievements regard encounters with Kuchisake-onna. The best way to get all three the fastest is through getting Perfect Run first while ensuring you have enough health to achieve Escape Artist, going to the main menu, starting the game from the last checkpoint, and then achieving Its All Over.

carrera perfecta requires players not to die. This is an easy game, but to be secure, there are several green health syringes that players can pick up. The only time where Kuchisake-onna can instantly hurt you is after getting the key near the axe. Press the spacebar button quickly will prevent you from receiving much damage. Completing the entire game without dying will get you this achievement.

It Is All Over requires Kuchisake-onna to kill you at a certain point in the game. When entering the basement after getting the key near the axe and checking on Seiji again, she will approach you. Pressing the spacebar button repeatedly can push her away, but allowing her to stab you with her scissors until you die will grant you this achievement right away. This achievement can also be earned when returning to the basement to get Seiji’s blood or during the roof segment where Kuchisake-onna can chase you in the open garden area after the maze.

Artista de escape involves escaping Kuchisake-onna’s grasp three times. Letting her approach you counts as one of these instances. The first is the aforementioned encounter in the basement after getting the key near the axe. The second and third can either be when she chases you in the corridor after completing the color puzzle, in the basement to get Seiji’s blood, and/or in the open portion of the garden where the box with the key is. Make sure you have good health, and you can earn this achievement when aiming for perfect run.
