Right click to tell them to rest and recharge. Right click again to make them ready to fire. You cannot control when they fire, él’s on a timer. Just have them recharge whenever you can, and when a dragon appears quickly press right click.
You can drag them around to change their position. You can also sometimes move an archer just in time to catch a dragon that seems to be getting away, but for some reason sometimes it will not let you move it.
