This is a very quick and efficient method of upgrading and purchasing your equipment. Para mí, the variety of gear I can use for an entire game is the most fun, as I usually try to gather all the evidence before opening the tomb, even if I know who the Mejai is. I just like the interactions and the jump scares.
Para esto «guía,» simply open a lobby, select single player or multiplayer, and you only need three items (Flashlight or Helmet, Detector de metales, and Camera) to get the most gold before the tomb closes on its own (brutal difficulty). Dicho esto, you should complete all of the gold and objectives before opening the tomb or the dungeon closes (brutal). You’re looking for a quick way in and out without completing the game, so you risk losing all of your earnings.
Mientras tanto, the camera is worthless for gold but useful for XP. You can complete every single objective before meeting the Mejai, which means you won’t be able to prove the Mejai’s existence, but everything else is fine.
Before you open the main tomb, here are some tips for maps with locked walls. You can photograph these locations by clipping your camera through walls and doors.
- For the main tomb, it is very obvious where it is, and you will always be able to find it and photograph it.
- For the Treasury, the trick is that you need two levers to open the wall, but you can still take the picture for XP even if the last lever is locked inside the last tomb. The money is squandered. To find the treasury, look for a fire stand (the kind you can light with a torch), and if it has a lever behind it, the treasury is 100 percent behind that fire stand. Clip your camera through the wall to gain XP.
- Remains; find a mummy.
- Royal mummy, blue bois, easily found
- Past Exploration: The discovery of ANY skeleton remains is all that is required.
They can be in the spike trap rooms, inside the cells (you can also clip your camera through the gate), or in the spike pits (no need for a light source, just flash it and you get a notification).
You simply run around with your best friend’s flashlight and pick up gold. If you’re lucky and none of the rooms are soft locked (levers inside the main tomb), and your map includes the treasury, spike trap room, and jail cell, you’ll get the maximum amount of gold for that run.
I ran this for a while and came up with these results. They are not guaranteed to be correct. If anyone else does more testing than me and can provide more information, please do so. Kindness is always welcomed in the community.
Consider that the tomb closes with a timer, so you’ll need to be extra quick for Brutal. I attempted to run the large map on brutal, but I mostly became greedy and locked inside. I escaped on occasion but mostly died because I didn’t realize what I was up against until it was on top of me and I didn’t have the tools to fight it off.
The map’s size has demonstrated that you can gain more XP but not more gold. You gain more objectives, and objectives only grant you XP. Como resultado, large maps are fantastic for playing with friends.
Para mí, the best farming method was to use Brutal on the small map. Here are the average gold XP results.
- Small Normal Size: 3-5minutes per run avg of 40xp and 90 Oro
- Brutal Normal Size: 3-5minutes per run avg of 80xp and 270 Oro
