The big bad demon lord does something interesting during the fight. He brings in your own teammates to battle against you. Depending on who you bring to the party, you can collect lots of rewards from this situation.

Summon Types

Let’s break down the types of party members you can have:

1. Unsummonable: There are some characters like Norn, Chaotic Brain, Brutaler rechter Arm, usw., that cannot be summoned by the demon lord. The summon attack doesn’t affect these characters. They may not actively participate in this strategy, but some are great for non-combat slots. Zum Beispiel, Norn with her double XP boost or Sludge Slime for extra research drops.
2. Regular Summons: The standard creatures you’ve unlocked fall into this category. They seem to have the same drop table as their counterparts in regular dungeons. This means any item they can drop will also be dropped when summoned. Zusätzlich, they provide research and seeds just like normal.
3. Rare Summons: Similar to regular summons, rare summons behave much the same, but with one significant difference. Most rare summons have enhanced drop tables, making it easier to farm specific items.

The Basic

After completing my 4th reincarnation, I can easily defeat the Demon King with just one powerful attack using [Du]. The key is to time your attack just after the demon lord casts summon, which typically takes around 3.8 seconds with my 12.7% attack speed boost as a Warrior. Make sure your total attack time is longer than the summon cast time.

In the combat party slots, fill them with creatures to be summoned. I’ll share three common setups below. Remember that the Demon Lord can only have a party size of 5, so if you remove [Du] from combat, you won’t get a 5th summon. I haven’t confirmed if it’s a random selection or if a top/bottom creature gets dropped, but removing [Du] means losing at least 1 Beschwörung.

For non-combat party slots, choose supporting members wisely. If you need an attack boost, pick an all-status member. If you’re farming research, go for drop chance or drop amount members like Sludge Slime or Queen Bee. For seed farming, choose drop amount members like Wyvern and Soldier Bee (avoid drop chance as explained later).

The main goal is to defeat the demon lord right after he casts summon. If he doesn’t cast it, Es ist keine große Sache; he usually does it right away.

With a Physical Attack (PAtk) of 11.0K, I managed to deal 32.4M damage with Power Slash, enough to one-shot the demon lord. This technically took two shots, as I allowed another minion a 2-second cast attack. I’ll determine the break points for Power Stab and Power Swing and update them here.

Three Common Party Setups

I suggest grabbing the mercenary title from the warrior path; it makes farming the Demon Lord much easier and quicker.

When farming Anchovy Sandwiches, there are three main setups, and you can mix and match them as you like.

Farming any creature (excluding unsummonables & Chefs) for research is effective. Boost research speed with +research drop amount and +research drop chance (z.B., Wille / Ladung / Aktionen / routines). Tamer has great routines for this. Use non-combat party slots to enhance either drop chance or drop amount.

Boss creatures guarantee seed drops, which can be boosted by anything increasing drop amount. Using a Scarlet Dragon, Elder Treant, Rock Golem, Purification Slime & Norn, I achieved about 4M xp/hour. In roughly 5 Std., I gained 20M xp.

Tipps und Tricks

This is an excellent method to grind some early sin, especially during your first reincarnation or shortly after. Although this isn’t my first playthrough (I played on the web a long time ago), I had to start from scratch. I chose to spend a few extra days to increase my gluttony capacity to 1K for the 3rd eat slot, which I found well worth it. While doing this, I used the demon lord to grind research, maxing out all available summons. Während dieses Prozesses, I capped out seeds for many summons, even before realizing how powerful bosses were for gaining seeds. This gave me a significant boost for my second reincarnation.

I was just able to get 2 sins for my first reincarnation by the time I hit 1K gluttony and unlocked the third slot. Most of my research likely came from Supernova party wipes. This approach requires active play and frequent 1-hour dark rituals to make the most of gluttony. Wenn Sie es vorziehen, you can stop at the 500 gluttony level and still benefit. XP Persists through Reincarnation

Getting a lot of XP early on is like saving money for the future. Even after starting over a couple of times, I saw the benefits. In my first restart, I focused on boosting Gluttony and got about 30 million XP. That helped me unlock two sins. The second time, even with fewer dark rituals and Gluttony levels, I still got three sins by farming the demon lord overnight. Heute, after two more restarts, I’ve earned four sins in this round. Easy attack boost

After the first restart, you can choose to stay in the Village and gather anchovy sandwiches and pork. With two eat slots, just keep farming and using pork.

Faultier

If you put your current dungeon (like Demon Lord or Dim Cave) in your sloth loop, restarting becomes much faster—um 2-3 times faster from what I’ve observed.

HotKeys

Alternative, you can hotkey two dungeons and quickly press their numbers to restart the fight almost instantly. Zum Beispiel, I hotkey Dim Cave to 1 and Demon Kingdom Fort to 2. Evil Eye

Spending Sins

Power Boost

Dark Ritual Often

Create easy party setups for doing dark rituals. Have a party for the dark ritual itself and then your current dark lord party. Set up the highest boss dungeon you can 1-shot with Sharp Spike for a minute to get easy levels in Miracle Stone & Lucky Rabbit’s Foot. Update the routines every 15 minutes to keep a constant flow of Inspiration while grinding the demon lord.
